Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Naboo Invasion Level B1-9 Walkthrough

Our non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Naboo Invasion level B1-9 is to toss Obi-Wan into the top of the tallest tower, throwing debris rightward onto the catapults. Their plasma balls should destroy anything that stands in the way of three stars. A clever trick if an additional Obi-Wan is needed is to launch the left catapult onto the lower catapult on the right. The score in the video below is 82,940.

I really think there’s a one-birder in here somewhere. I’ve come very close to that… Hmmm…

Thanks for the videos. They are helping me so much to learn how these levels work.

Lots of hard work for you guys and MUCH, MUCH appreciated!

Yes, there is a 1-birder possible. :) Dont know if the points are worth it, but I did beat my 2-bird score. Now at 93,850.

I was unable to replicate the video method after many attempts but while trying I got both catapults on the right to fire simultaneously. They almost took out everything but left 1 pig. I sniped him with the second bird. I agree with @spurs01, seems as though there very well could be a one birder here.

I got a one birdie for 93520 by sending Obi to the top of the tall tower, coming in just near the base of the roof. Apply the force straight out and right. You want the debris to hit both catapults so that the lower one’s plasma ball takes out the tall tower and the far right one throws the “power” plasma ball all the way to the far left so that it triggers the front left catapult. The left plasma ball will jump up and take out the smaller front tower ;-) Here’s my screenshot:

I made 92 on my own. Now improve with some 1B from 89 to 94. The only way for 1B is like @lesleyg wrote. I push paralell end very deep to the R sode. Ideally both balls fall in the middle passage of ich tower or near.

Thanks AA @lesleyg for the post and strategy. Got an above average score and obtained a one bird solution. Did it a tad different but basically the same result.

Zoom out and aim the tracking dots with a high arc near one of the green patches on the right side of the right water fall under the building in the background. One’s reference point may be different depending on the device used. Obi flies in a high arc and comes near the little square wood box on the left. Apply the force near the other little square wood box on the right. This provided some consistency on getting both catapults to launch, maybe 1 in 10+. Also applied the force on the curve of the spoon on the far right catapult.

The plasma ball on the left catapult took out the taller tower and the right catapult’s plasma ball took out the shorter tower on the left. The catapult on the left side did not activate. Had a few one-bird solutions but 96k+ was my highest score.

I launched obi wan into the short tower on the left, directing the force leftward into the first catapult. This took out the tall tower and launched one of the other catapults in the process. 3 stars 82550.

@cconnielf, I do not believe it is possible to score 120,000 points using acceptable methods. There is no possibility to score this many points using conventional Last Chance Strategy and one bird scores are no where near that level.

This is puzzling. @wicket182, you refer to @cconnielf score as 120,000 but it is listed as 114260. I am revisiting these levels and finding some of the scoring a bit frustrating eg some scores much higher than everyone else’s and no strategy given.
Was a decision made not to use the log strategy? I suspect that the high scores in some levels might be a result of people using the log strategy and not acknowledging it.

@wicket182, In response to your comment… I finally took time to start a photo album in my profile, and this is the first picture I added. Please accept this as proof that 120,000+ points are indeed possible. And please note for future reference that I do not know how to (nor would I ever) use anything But acceptable methods….whatever you meant by that comment. I must admit… I was surprised myself at the score, which was achieved by Last Chance Strategy.

@cconnielf, I never had a doubt that you scored 120,000 points on this level. What I questioned was the method used to achieve such a score. Please describe how you managed this score if you insist that you used conventional last chance strategy. The points are simply not available on this level for such a score using acceptable methods. I apologize in advance if you have discovered a way to increase scores beyond what are generally thought to be maximums.

@wicket182, I recently had a discussion with scott29 and thee-michelle about Naboo Invasion B1-S3 as they expressed a similar frustration with that particular level. I honestly have no magic formula to offer. The closest I can come to figuring out some scores that are noticeably high is that the sequence of the destruction (and perhaps the choice of bird or pig) has something to do with the ringing up of the score. I cannot explain what that sequence could be since I am focusing on the next bird or pig to use in a hurry while using LCS. Some other players’ high scores have been impossible for me to approach, and I finally dismiss those scores as “luck.” I think this level must fall into that same category. As I reread my response, I am not sure this is of any help, but I simply do not have any additional theories to offer.

@cconnielf, @scott20, @thee-michelle, First of all, my sincere apology to @cconnielf for doubting you. There should be no question as to the integrity of cconnielf. With your assurance that your methods were sound I used this level and B1-S3 to do an analysis of scoring possibilities. I did find the “reason” for the higher scores. It’s the catapults. First destroy the orbs with Tusken Raider. Then use shooters on the wood parts (I used Stormtroopers, Shadowtroopers and Tie Fighter Pilots). If you use shooters to destroy them, sometimes if you hit them just right, it takes many, many shots to destroy the wood, all the while scoring points. I found this works best if you wait until close and shoot through the wood at the spoon. This does not work every time and the number of shots to finally destroy the wood seems variable. Again cconnielf, I am truly sorry for questioning you.
