Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Escape to Tatooine Level P2-S2 Walkthrough

Angry Birds Star Wars II Escape to Tatooine level P2-S2 is unlocked by obtaining the Treasure Map in level P2-6. After doing so, this Side Quest will be unlocked. Our non-character swap strategy for this level is to fling Droideka above the highest enemy, spinning along the right side of the level. Fling one more toward the TNT to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 71,490.

Exactly the same shot, but he spins down to the bottom of the level and takes out the TNT for a 1-porker.

I use same strategy, but you got more luck!

Did you get the crystals, @pauliboy? Managed to detonate the tnt, so 1 shot only, but those blue crystals were still glittering up there….

@lvmh ; as I recall, a random bone splinter shot up into the air and took the crystals out when it came down. The other thing I found on this level was that starting Droideka spinning only after he’s passed the top bird makes him much more likely to go down to the bottom. You don’t need to hit the top bird, because the ricocheting Droideka knocks the structure beneath him over.

This is the shot I was using. Cleared all birds but did not set off TNT. I threw a second Droideka into the left side, set off TNT, cleared debris and bounced up coming down on the crystals! Doubt that I can repeat it, but I’m going on try ;)

For the first shot, if you have General Grievous a well placed shot to the bones close to the slingshot gives 2 or 3 thousand extra points.

@wicket182 I used the LCS also and got the current ( am sure temporary ) high score of 121820.

@waimea, @wicket182 and @ericbirdz….I get the use of ‘last chance’ and grabbing more characters to wipe out the debris; however…using simply the term of ‘last chance strategy’ for a very high score is not a ‘strategy’ in itself. The strategy would be perhaps in giving the total number of extra birds or porks used and naming at least the type of characters chosen…and if you used the pig or pork swap by paying for being able to use either side for either side of the game.

I do see one drawback in that you have to be quick to pick and grab additional characters during the last chance period before the level finally times out. That can be very tricky. I can see where it might not be possible to provide the names of each character used during fast game play or even where in the level you sent them – that will vary greatly. It would be nice to at least try and provide the types of characters used when using the Last Chance…ie: shooters, crawlers (ie Darth Maul and General Grievous..not sure what to call their action), sabre characters, force (Darth Vader, Obiwan, Anakin III)….

At the very least, players should provide what characters they used initially…what came with the level or what they swapped for…THEN just say they used Last Chance and kept grabbing and flinging until all was gone and points were high…Sorry…I like a little detail at least…please.

It is kind of a downer when someone only says they used ‘last chance’ strategy period…

@gypsybird) I agree with you completely. That is why I stopped using last chance strategy as it was not competitive with the overwhelming majority of players who didn’t have (buy, in the case of Android or iOS, or earn, as in my case with PC) the massive amount and duplicate characters necessary to make this strategy work.

To be honest, keeping track of all the characters you use on a last chance level would be almost impossible. For me, it would be several each of Darth Sidious (and shadow Sidious), Tuscan Raider, and ALL laser shooters (ie. Han Solo, Landau, Storm Troopers, etc), plus Bobba and Jango Fett. These are the ones I found most useful. You don’t want to use anything that scatters debris, like Darth Vader. And yes, you need characters from both sides so you need the permanent bird/pork side swap ability. The idea is to just destroy everything, and quickly. Knowing where your most useful characters are in your inventory box, and then keep shooting until every last link of chain and every last bush is destroyed is the key. Often no less that 20 shooters are used in fast succession, so it is virtually (unless you record it and play it back, which I know ‘I’ can’t do) impossible to remember. But the characters I mentioned above are the prime ones for successful last chance strategy. At least for me.

I think more and more folks will be attempting this as more characters are earned (or bought) as time goes on, and if and when this seems more the norm, I may go back to using it again, and bring back my deleted scores. But it’s rather nerve wracking. Hope this helps some. (:

Using LCS effectively leaves no time to take mental notes on what is used. The bird selection will be different for every player and every level, dependent on what birds/pigs they have available. I always use given characters first, permanent characters second and then whatever characters I have the most of. I have sometimes used close to 100 birds/pigs. LCS will change every time you play it. Using saber characters for close debris and shooters for farther debris helps better manage timeout. This is the most intense and fast paced flinging you can do. The amount of time depends on the amount of debris and it’s distribution.

I am sorry I am not of more assistance.

Thank you to @waimea and @wicket182 for your response and sharing your tips and hints for success with the Last Change option! I was eating some cheese and crackers on the 14th and decided I needed some ‘whine’ to wash them down. LOL. Of course the whine factor didn’t help me this time. I have used the Last chance and gotten decent results on some levels. On others, I wiped out nearly all debris and still didn’t come close to your fabulous scores. My thoughts continue that sometimes it is the order of destruction that gains more points too. I have a lot of Telepods now (took a lot of trips to Walmart and ordering some online but is a lot less than paying for the permanent characters through the game). Can only use each one time during play but they certainly do help. I must admit I did feel a bit silly buying all the ‘toys’ (I’m over 50 and a grandma now), but my love for this game overcame my shame (no I’m not a poet). My husband now thinks I’m totally crazy. The cost for all those Telepods was still a LOT less than he spent buying extras for Counterstrike and the monthly service cost for online play. Yeah!

Thanks again! Fling on dudes!

OOPS…I didn’t proof my post…I meant Last ‘Chance’ – although it can be a last ‘change’ when swapping out the standard characters in a level. ;-)

@gypsybird….Glad I could be of some help. Having PC and playing it insanely has given me tons of coins (we generate them automatically with starring levels), so I feel very lucky in that regard. I certainly couldn’t afford to buy them. In some levels, much of the debris get hidden below the ‘land’ line. It pays to shoot as many shooters as you can down where you think excess debris might be hidden.

And hey, I’m pushing 65 – we’re all kids when it comes to Angry Birds!

Does anyone know how to get the third coin? I was able to get the first two from absolute sheer luck but can’t figure out how to get the third.
