One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Escape to Tatooine level B2-5 is to grab the chain just right of the TNT with Jar Jar’s tongue, letting him swing all the way up into the top structure. If the bottom TNT detonates, the right tower should topple over. The score in the video below is 82,980.

I did this one by firing JJ at a fairly steep angle, then grappling the metal TNT before he hits the top of his arc. This makes him continue going upwards, pulling the TNT out and swinging it around. Release it so it slams into the middle of the upper structure to obliterate it.

The tough part is getting the right tower to fall over, but at least this shot is easily repeatable.

Correction: slam the TNT on the ground between the stone pile and the leftmost tower. This works much better for upper obliteration.

88730 using this method. Enough debris fell over to the right, completely toppling the far right tower.

I made 85.690 there by jump at brown TNT, catching it, rotate, sometimes with landing on or exploding gray TNT. Falling tower igniting lower R TNT and destroy far tower.

This is the only strategy I could get to work for higher points. The others worked fine, just could not yield a decent reward. Thanks @bird-tester, took a while but eventually it happened.

I used the video strategy – it took many, many, many tries. And @dr_ishmael I also did well with your alternate strategy. I sort of switched back and forth every 100 throws or so… Thanks!

It is a strategy same as a video. However, I can drop black TNT.
It is 500+ point, but can increase it.
When a bird catches a chain and circles and went to the upper part of the building, the bird hits the chip of wood of the top triangle of the building.
Then it arrives at the position pushing the black TNT.
It should explode at the place, but did not come true.

Thanks for the screenshot @thee-michelle ;-) It helped me to see what level to throw in JJ so that he would loop around and hit the top of the wooden triangle which can knock over the tnt. I ultimately got my highest score of 86850 when I missed the tnt though. Highest score with the tnt with this strat was 85790.

I also had good results with @dr_ishmael alternative strat which was 86150 ;-)

Thank you @thee-michelle for posting your tip on activating the grey tnt. Had to move the stones around the tnt to get it to work but it is successful and did obtain an above average score. The grey tnt did take some persistence on getting it to roll off the left side but hitting one of the stones to its right seem to activate it but not ever try.

I have a different strategy. It probably isn’t the best method, but it seems to score pretty much the same as the other methods and is fairly easy to do. Aim at a steep angle like you were doing @dr-ishmael ‘s shot, but instead of targeting the TNT, hit just below it. JJ swings over the top and (if you have the correct tongue length) slams into the wood on the upper right side pretty much destroying it. Most times the right side goes down too. Worked great for me. High arc, initial burst to wood base of right tower, then the grey TNT upper left, then the remaining fire into the hanging chains and TNT
