Angry Birds Space Utopia Level 4-5 Walkthrough

A good strategy for Utopia level 4-5 is to bounce Terence through the two lollipops on the left side of the level, causing him to bounce into the asteroid in the north. The TNT on the northern planet should detonate, along with a lot of popcorn, clearing most of the top half of the level. Fire the other Terence through the bubbled pig and into the wooden structure on the southern planet to finish off the level. Alternatively, you can switch these two shots.

Clear first the bottom aim Terence on the bottom part of the left pig bubble but just bubble it up the pig will get frozen. Second Terence on the lollipop. Made 98400 this way

@ Traneric. I found it easier to clear the bottom like you said. There was a clear path taking out the bottom this way. I found the other method had clutter keeping Terrance from doing a good job at the lower level. Good suggestion!TY!

First time ever with a top score, yeahh. I guess it won´t take long for another one to beat it. Same estrategy as Traneric. Many 95-96K. The key for 100K+ is that a piece of stone hits the farest TNT hidden under popcorn on the upper planet. Just luck.

Thanks @Traneric. After experimenting with the two basic approaches, it seems to me that this has the potential to yield slightly higher scores. By clearing most of th structure on the bottom, it leaves room for debris from the second shot (into the lollypops) to fall and break. I was able to get just over 99K after a few tries.

Also, it’s not totally necessary to get the pig in the bubble on the first shot. It often gets popped (though by no means every time) on the second. For high scores, if you don’t have at least 49-50K (with bubble pig) or 44-45K (without the bubble pig) after the first shot, it’s probably worth restarting.

I was ready to give up after many attempts and finally get +103k using Traneric method. Get +50k with the first bird. The trick is more on where to hit the lollipop. My recommendation it to target the first one.

I was stuck in the low 90s for quite a while using this method and I really couldn’t figure out where the points were coming from. It seemed like hitting the top TNT was a crapshoot and the glass/wood debris between the gravity fields was moving way too slowly to break. But then I hit 53k on the first shot and the wooden square flew into the TNT on the second shot – 99k and mystery solved. It seems that scoring that high on the first shot clears away enough floating ice for a few of the blocks on the second shot to hit the bottom planet hard enough to break.

I got my highest score by clearing the bottom first, that way the debris that was blown upward fell all the way off the cliff to the bottom. There was actually quite a bit of debris still in mid fall, wheh the counter went off and tallied my score at 98k. Probably would have been 104-105 had it finished with the motion.

Score: 101,940. Targeted the two sparkling lollipops and Terranced bounced up to blow the TNT in the ice, and the explosure took out the two bubble pigs. Used second Terrance to blow through the wood and some how popped enough kernals to blow debris up to hit the hidden TNT among the kernals.

I can’t say this is truly a totally all new strat but here are some specific aiming tips.
Orientation is that I turn my iPad so that the left side becomes the bottom to make my right hand more comfortable.
Keep this orientation in mind while reading.
Line the target line through the first or bottom lollipop. Just to the bottom or left of the stick there is a break in the color swirl of the candy. Put the line dead center through the lighter color. Bear in mind that the line bends due the gravity so as close to dead center as you can. I play zoomed out so it looks dead center to me. Terence will come down and will follow/roll right behind the boulder. The wood box that this small pig sits in is usually the detonator of the popcorn *and* the TNT.

Now for shot two. The key to a great score is pushing as much debris from the left planet to the right but not blocking the path for shot two. On my score I had to shoot a little quick because one of the joined ice blocks that stop Terence dead was gonna stop dead in the way.
Aim not right at the edge of the bubble but as far right from it as you can and still pop it. The goal is to get Terence to the downslope on the topside of the right tower to help push every thing over the cliff. If the bubble is gone aim for the lowest point of the wood that has the clearest path. There is so much points left scattered about but no real tidy way to collect them all.
This seems like the best method.

Here for the Challenge & so far improved from 95480>99960, not Top 50, but I had an epiphany after doing the same thing over and over again with pretty much the same result. What was I doing wrong? There are many scores over 100,000, so it had to be user error.

I didn’t find any new aiming points but what I did change was the strength or power of my shots. My full power shots were overshooting & I was missing lots of points.

1st Terrence – aim to the bottom. While aiming at the pig in the bubble, aim just to graze the bottom of his bubble. Get the trajectory with full strength line, but before releasing, pull back so that the dotted line stops just as it reaches the bubble, then release. You want Terrence to just skim the bottom of the bubble to pop the pig & hopefully fall on the hard popcorn kernel to set off an explosion. The damage should continue right so that to tower with piggies is destroyed while the 2 hard popcorn kernels on the right ledge are also set off. Watch & you’ll be amazed just how many points accumulate when all the popped corn falls over the edge. My best at this point was close to 54,000.

I truly believe the different platforms & possibly devices have slight variations, so try full strength & reduced strength shots & find what works for you to get these hard kernels popped & over the right edge. With my Android phone, a full strength shot popped the pig bubble, but flew over the 1st hard kernel into the tower with the 2 pigs missing thousands of valuable popcorn points. I’d suggest restart if you don’t have at least 51,000

2nd Terrence is also reduced power & for me, more of a reduction (overall less powerful) than 1st shot. I aimed between both lollipops. When lining up your shot you’ll see the dotted line goes down almost to the donut’s pink frosting. Pull back so that the dotted line stops at just about the red licorice. This one is harder for me to see on the phone with my eyesight. The goal is to take out not just the pig in tower & explode the left TNT, but you also need the 2 hard popcorn kernels to the right of this pig to be hit by the debris & explode out hard so that the force of the explosion pops the bubble around the now floating pig in a bubble. With some luck the far right TNT would also be hit with debris & all other hard popcorn kernels will pop, but alas, I haven’t had that luck at the same time that my 2 shots hit just the right spot.

Just a difference in you pointing out that sometimes it is not a good thing to go full strength when firing Terrence. I flipped back and forth between taking out the top and the bottom. My improvement is from taking out the bottom first. Then some additional debris fell from the top explosion and garnered some more points. Yay! Not top of the list but I did get in the top 50 finally.

It took me a while to find @justpast40‘s correct aiming point at very slightly reduced power, but I made it. Here is the trajectory in case it can help: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/sglouk/album/picture/14927/ .
The points along the dotted line move along it, but the furthers the dots can go is a few pixels to the left of the bubble center (a few more to the right of those shwon on picture). This led me to several 55k scores, although I did not reset when reaching 54k as for my 105k successful attempt.

Then, 2nd shot was taken from @swellD‘s 1st shot, assuming he meant that one had to target upper lollipop. It is very uncommon to ignite upper TNT, but being patient enough makes it in the end. I did not understand what made the difference when I successfully ignited TNT and got many points from it, however, therefore, more points may be to come with a better understanding of what is going no exactly.

I’ve been using a slightly different strategy and have got up to 104k so far, and there are more points available.

First shot, full power with the last dot of the aiming line just about but not quite touching the atmosphere. This will take the bird just above the liquorice, or maybe just skimming it but not bouncing out of the gravity well. This should push almost all the wood and ice off to the right if you do it right.

Second bird, again full power, aim just above the top lollipop but just below the tip of the first wooden triangle. If you get this right it will bounce up and pop the bubble pig then hit the boulder and trigger the TNT. This trajectory seems to give a much better explosion but the downside is you only get one lollipop. If you are really lucky some of the debris will land on the second lollipop and break it, but so far this has only happened on lower scoring tries.
