If anyone needs to three star for a mission like I did, here’s what I figured out. I’m sure other, better players will find a higher scoring/easier way, but for the quick and dirty three stars, here’s what I did.

Aim the first bird almost straight ahead, but low enough to avoid the floating piece of crystal. Aim up at the bigger floating boulder to knock it into the big pigs crystal, exploding it and taking out the big pig.

Then aim up over the remaining crystal edges, ( they form a kind of parentheses ( ) shape) and send your bird through the center of the crystal (parentheses ( ) shape) edges and into the pigs in the chains.

This should send the chained piggies into the other planet killing the chained piggies and popping the other planet too.

I don’t remember my score (playing/posting on iPod), I will go look and post it. My previous attempts only gained a 5700ish score with two stars, and the three star score was in the 6200ish range I think.

63750 similar to this method. My variation was shooting the first bird lower and then shoot up to knock the smaller rock into the bigger rock for a few extra points. I did get consistently better destruction of the squares on the second compared to the video’s first shot.

I would add that slow speed is a real help here. :-)

Thanks @jrussell424!
I had tried that technique a number of times without success. Often just knowing a technique is possible is all the encouragement needed to make it happen.
@e-star ‘s score is amazing. I tried a hundred times that way without success. It’s obviously superb since it’s the current high score. Strong work!

Sorry for taking your trophy @e-star, but thanks for another fine video. Used your strategy in reversed order.

One birder
First ( and only bird ) similar to @estar first shot but after many tries managed to get the object Boulder to break to the right where it pushed the small Boulder into the upper gravity field and then followed the small Boulder in,meaning a second bird was not required. Meanwhile the Boulder with the chains and pigs was sucked into the lower gravity field. I was fortunate that neither of the gravity fields collapsed until all the bits and pieces had aggregated around them so maximising damage points.

@ollygod where did you hit that boulder to get it to hit the small one.

@kathy – sorry no easy answer to that one. The object Boulder either spins ( both direction ) or is static, can’t rember which
It was. It was just a case of repetition, and minor adjustments in initial trajectory and of course lots of luck. Sorry can’t be more helpful – wish I had video capability. :-)

70k with 2 birds for the was not quite enough to beat the 1-birder by @ollygod. Key was very nice annihilation with 1st shot worth 45k done just like walkthrough. 2nd lower to push 2 boulders upwards, but I don’t this difference was of any significance.
