Angry Birds Space Cosmic Crystals Level 7-12 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Space Cosmic Crystals level 7-12 is to push the western rocket into the gravitational fields, hopefully causing massive destruction. Use the Lazer bird to do the same with the eastern rocket, and use a Blue bird as needed to clean up. The score in the video below is 101,960.

Same shot as video. However, if you split the blue bird a little earlier, then the bottom blue bird will tap the hanging boulder and the top blue bird will tap the big boulder above the rocket. This causes the rocket to fall into the bottom globe and the big meteor to crash into the top globe. Lots of explosions and a 1 birder this way.

Exactly – 1bird! Happened the same way with me and seems to be repeatable quite easily.

Repeated it twice just now with even better result. But must add that I aim exactly in the corner of the top wooden rocket between the 3 blue tail things and hanging rope and split LATE: right after bb passes the hanging boulder.

PS: better results if the 3rd of the split birds cuts the hanging boulder off with a piece of rope left on, which gets pulled in lower planet, while wooden tnt rocket gets pushed in top one by rest of bb and explodes there

Frustratingly I cannot remember exactly how this one went down. It happened as I was just trying to 3* the level. I only realised it was top score when I entered it. What I am sure of is that it was a one birdie and the shot was as @cali_mom described. I’ve tried and tried to duplicate it but it’s just not happening. I guess a lucky piece of glass nudged the bottom right rocket into the planet above. If I get close again I’ll be sure to report back;)

So far I’ve not managed a 1-birder like @cali_mom, but twice with this new Release’s Daily Missions I’ve had to play this level, the last time was to better my 114570 for 10 points. It seemed to take awhile (well not really in real life time, but in ABSp time it seemed to take 4ever,) but I managed a 2-birder for 115450. Thanks for your help

Thanks @cali_mom. Splitting earlier did the trick for me.
Two hours of flinging without a 1-birder in sight, every bit of debris missed the lower rocket. Finally something hit it, of course I didn’t see what, but it was pulled into the gravity field of the right planet.
Not a huge score but I’ll take it.

This level looks like another boring one-birder. However, once one realizes that one must tune the first shot so that one of the blue birds slowly continues its way till the second spaceship after the first planet explosions, trial and error method is more fun.

@karen68
It is usually the central birdlet that does the job. Aim at lower part corner of lower reactor, then split so that upper birdlet hits big boulder and lower birdlet hits stone ball. Upper boulder goes to upper planet and destroys it, while stone ball sends ship + TNT onto nearby planet. Then, you need to hope that central birdlet will be sucked onto nearby planet (hence the precise aiming point), with a timing (hence, luck) such that: it is already accelerating wihtin gravitational field when planet explodes AND has not yet landed. Upon planet explosion, if it is still moving (i.e., it has not landed yet), it may gently drift to the right and hit the last spaceship. Precise aiming allows to make it, but even if you find a good spot, the odds that everything goes as expected seem to me to be low (5% at the moment of writing).

My score in this vid in not good because last spaceship did not explode, but you clearly see that it is the birdlet that did the job.

@sglouk thanks for the added details. I had the middle blue drift over to the right ship many times but always at a very slow speed so all it did was bump it, but not enough to move it. I guess I finally got lucky, whatever hit it must have done so at a fairly good speed, it was pushed quite quickly into the gravity field. I had my eye on what the left-hand ship was doing & missed what happened.
I’m still very happy with a 7k improvement in score.

Let me count the ways I was _not_ expecting this:
1. It took less than an hour.
2. I now have 2 consecutive top scores on cosmic crystals after stating in 13 that cc hates me.
3. I only read @cali-mom comment before casually going at it.
4. Got the score with my very 1st single birder.
5. Puppies in december are rare items indeed.

Surprised I am, but very satisfied! For further details I refer to @sglouk comment above. One of the triplets did the final deed for me as well. Sorry I cannot provide more details since I was not paying due attention…

For a change tried a slightly different shot. Reduced speed with the aiming dots just running down the right side of the lowest of the 3 “prongs” that make up the upper rocket engine. Split just after blue passes by the small boulder on the right. The lowest blue will hit the hanging boulder and be deflected onto the planet, rolling down to snuggle up against piggie. The middle blue will settle into the prongs and be pulled into the planet by the falling rocket. This gives 2 blues on the planet with the chance for them to be propelled to the lowest rocket when the planet explodes. Not the highest score, but have had more hits to the lowest rocket this way with several scores between 122-123K, so might be worth a try if all else fails :-))
