Got 3* at 168560. Took all 5 birds, but still 3*.

I actually used four birds for my current top score. First two birds like video, then I noticed lot of debris on top right section, so I used third bird to clear it for much more than 10000 points. Then I used fourth bird same as the third bird on video.

I used the same strategy as @aleksch (thank you for sharing) it makes sense as this is one of the levels where damage is key. There was some debris remaining (but not much) so a higher score should be possible 180K?

First shot like video important to clean up south-eastern quarter. Second shot most important to south-western quarter using slight gravity force. Third north-eastern, and fourth to the last sector. My score 183020, with almost total claning of debris.

last one 8*(. didn’t hit average but I guess I did 3-star this one and only 2-starred -26.

First shot: South East quadrant, aim for fourth ROW from center (not COLUMN). Allow orange bird to do its job on its own. It takes many retries but the quadrant SHOULD clear with appx. 55K points. If quadrant does not clear, start over.

Second shot: Oddly enough, send the Bomb Bird to the South East quadrant again (Yes, I said SE quadrant!). The idea is to get the explosive force as close to the North East and South West quadrants at the same time. While you won’t TOTALLY clear these quadrants you SHOULD have popped all four pigs in those two quadrants. If you haven’t popped all four pigs, start over.

Third shot: Send the Orange Bird over the top to the North West quadrant (surprisingly hard to do). Again, allow the Orange Bird to settle into the blocks and do its thing on its own. MOST of the time the two remaining pigs will be dispatched, usually with debris remaining.

It is possible to get higher scores, depending on the amount of debris that gets destroyed. But that’s HIGHLY variable.

I hope this helps!

Happy flinging!

Sorry for “explaining” what was already on the video guys, my bad. I hadn’t looked at the video before I typed this procedure. I tried to delete the post but was unsuccessful.

Yes ~ I wish we could edit our post here on the Nest like some other websites allow ~ there have been times I’ve wanted to correct spelling errors.

190060 with three birds.

Same strategy as described by @comex66 but reversing the first and third bird.
The bird to the southeast quadrant has a tendency to slightly dislodge things in the southwest quadrant, and it is also easier. So starting by the hardest one before anything is changed was giving better results.

Here is the final result.

Welcome my new puppy! What shalt thou be named… ‘Crosshit’ – I believe – will be good and proper.

I tried to follow @comex666 video but failed way too much so changed the 3rd shot to 1st and instead of bouncing on the south pole went all the way to east. I know the video shot can go up to 30k+ but I think 25k+ (my best was 28k) should be enough for a puppy today. 2nd shot as the vid and finally the 1st shot of the vid.

Good Luck to all puppy retrievers and congrats to those who succeed!

Many thanks to @comex666 for the strat. I got top score a few days after challenge, which I further improved by a ridiculous margin after severalhours of flinging (definitely not worth the time I spent).

Those are three high precision shots, with a frustrating low probability outcome 2nd one. However I really love the way 2nd Bubbles (i.e., 3rd bird) hits metal and then dives up onto structure. This may not be the most efficient method since many debris are left, but really fun to watch.

I just wasn’t able to have Bubbles hit the triangle at 6:00 with any consistency, so went slightly lower to clear the front triangle and land at 9:43. When expanded it took out much of the structure, but left enough debris to fall 9K short of high score. Enough for now.
