Our strategy for Summer Pignic level 25 is very nice one-bird clear. Lob the first Yellow bird nearly straight up, triggering the speed boost so the bird is traveling slightly upward through the two thin vertical wooden blocks. With some luck, the Yellow bird can pass through the entire left structure and drop to the TNT below. The tower of the left structure tips to the right and takes out the remaining pig. If this fortune does not happen for you, snipe the pig with the next Yellow bird. The score in the video below is 105,180.

3 birds, 96,720, 3 stars. Used first two to take out left structure, 1 to take out left.
Make that 103,250. First yellow took out most of left side, 2nd yellow took out remainder of left, pushing debris down onto TNT in hole and pushing right side on to top right TNT, blowing the rest up.
The trick seems to get the tiny rock to roll over to the tnt. Most often it gets just enough high to hit the grass and take out the tiny pig.
I got 110,567 after a couple of times.
Your method?
You have to shoot the yellow bird into the 2 small pieces of wood. The middle of the left structure. If done right angry birdy should destroy almost everything on the left and the tnt will blow up the right side. Should be good for 75,000+ and 30,000 for the birds.

I assume he said you should fire the bird as vertical as possible, and then get it to hit the structures exactly from the side as in a 90 degree angle. This level also has some resonance, so it can pay off to wait a bit especially after the first hit

101640. 2 yellow birds through the lowest left structure. Second one hit the TNT. Everything blew up or felt down. Not much left to destroy. Probably possible with one bird, if momentum and angle is right. That was my first attempt btw., trying ever since to repeat or doing other methods to gain more score ;-)
112k with one bird. Shoot straight up and aim to hit the little left-most pig. Done at just the right tiime, it will slice through that whole level and across the canyon into the right structure. If you’re lucky, you’ll destroy almost everything.

After a short negotiation with BirdLeader and other members, look who’s still sticking around.
109,900 using only one bird. This is the EASIEST level in ABS: Summer Pignic. Anybody can do it, even a caveman can do it.
Bird #1 (Yellow Rocket): Aim straight up and as soon as the bird changes direction, tap the screen to boost the bird. Simply have the bird drill through the center horizon of the structure. There will be a lot of trials and errors, FYI. Most of the structure will be tossed over the edge on the right of the first black platform into the pit, setting off the TNT’s on the ground level. One or more of the debris will crash into the first TNT on top of the first black platform to set it off, tossing debris flying around. One or more of the debris will land onto the another TNT on the second platform to blow up everything. One bird can kill all pigs as plain as daylight.
Bird #2 (Yellow Rocket): 10,000 points bonus if done correctly.
Bird #3 (Yellow Rocket): 10,000 points bonus if done correctly.
Bird #4 (Yellow Rocket): 10,000 points bonus if done correctly.
Note: No golden egg found in this level.

113590 with your method. At first it didn’t look so good, but then the last little stone flew up so high and felt down on the right TNT to blew that side up. And there still was some wood and stone left on the left side. I hate that you can’t look at your last shot and the score screen always pops up within a second. Hardly anytime to make a screenshot of it.

Its easy but there is one patch of grass to break.
111,550 using this method but needed two birds. I can’t get the TNT to break with just 1 bird. 1 bird like Joe says… Can aaaaalmost get it to the TNT… Even when the first bird shoots straight through to the right structure, I don’t get the TNT.
2nd bird exploits path made by 1st bird to hit the left TNT and results is near total destruction.
So if 1st bird doesn’t quite get you in the 108-111k range, dont reset. Shooting a second bird often does the trick.
Straight up and straight horizontal will take almost everything out.
Joe, I’m not convined that you aren’t photoshopping those screenshots…
Several times I just wait, and the right side falls down all by itselves.It does not help much. I have to use one bird to get down the rest, and with the same method as Joe, I use one bird 108640.

Bird #1 toward right pig, and debris felt into the pit. After TNT blew up, one felt into left TNT, and ka-boom… And other debris made the rightmost TNT explode again…

I aimed up (and slightly right) then tapped to send the bird into the double vertical planks, piercing through the entire left structure and into the low part of the right structure. Right side collapsed, TNT sent some stuff back to the left side, and left TNT blew. Then debris fell to blow the TNT below. Going though to the right side is not that hard, but getting the TNTs to blow might take some tries.
I also had some luck another way — jetting the first bird along the floor of the left structure, making it unstable and falling, hopefully blowing the left or right TNT.
I was writing this before I saw Joe’s solution.
Okay, I guess it is a little hard to pierce through to the other structure. Patience.
My first bird sliced through both structures like a hot knife through stacks of butter. Too bad it popped every pig without disturbing said butter, or setting off even one TNT bundle. Score? 81,500 – good for two stars. Yay.
Ya, this method (thru the double planks) is the right one. I got 102690 but both the TNT stayed intact!. Very frustrating, that could have been a big score if they had gone off… =-(
77640 = 1* // 85140 = 2 stars // 86470 = 3*

I use an iPhone4. I don’t shoot straight up, but at a slight angle. It might take a couple dozen tries to pierce through.
hey, yes, that works better! Thanks rjohnson. Now managed to clear it with one bord twice. Strangely though, both TNT never explode, so the score is ‘only’ between 100k and 103k
110k … one bird through the week middle sector … more impressive was only 80k with same method one bird, all pigs, no tnt and barely no debris ;-))
I just got 98820 with 2 birds and thought, that a good score, could probably get 100k with a bit more luck, but no I come here and read people are already up to 115k…

Just a bit of luck I guess. I guess I was working on a the high score because my pervious score was 110
110k is good enough for me. I used the method of the very first post. One bird and everthing goes.
There is some resonance in that rigjt tower. I almost thpught both were going to fall with 0 birds. I just got 27k without using one. That may have something to do with difference in scores using the same method.
Lucky 107,060 using 1 bird. Sent it up at slight angle and hit boost shortly after it landed on TNT on right side and blew everything up on both sides.
After getting 99k over and over again, I was not going to rest until I hit 100k. Done is second time on my iPad getting 100340, after about 30 goes on my iPhone I managed 106530, that was all but total destruction (1 bit of wood and 1 block left)!!
Forgot to mention that was with 2 birds :)
So far I have found all pignics very easy (often 3 stars on first attempt..) but this one I just “didnt get”! So looked up this page. Thanks for all the tips! After a couple of minutes: used 1 bird and got 102100! The trick is as someone mentioned, to shoot the yellow bird into the 2 small pieces of wood. Good luck everyone :)
Ok i know I mentioned this a couple days ago, but it’s really weird. Not only does the righthand structure fall on it’s own sometimes just like yesterday’s level (24) and the level before that (23), but last night I went back to some older levels to improve my score and structures on those levels sometimes fell as well, even though they never did so before.
For example, level 12 never used to topple by itself. but now, all of a sudden, the left structure (with the big boulder) collapses the entire left side on it’s own every 5-7 restarts or so. Since that level was stable on the day we all got it, I went back to other levels and now I can get most of those to auto-collapse as well. Is anyone else experiencing this. I used to thing it was related to a parameter we could not see, like initial block placement, or wind, or pigs rolling ever so slightly, but now that it seems all levels are affected, I’m inclined to call It a glitch.
To sum up, on level 1-23 through today, structures began toppling in their own. And now it also happens on prior levels that were once thought to be stable. Like Six said about the Raiders on BSG, “something’s changed.”. Was there an update a few days ago? I forget.
Anyone else?

Actually, loox, if you go back and look at the comments on 1-12, the left structure was falling for many people when the level was released.
how do you get the bird to go all the way through mine alwalys stops about halfway i’ve tried 50 times

Go through the double-vertical planks nearly horizontal. If you happen to hit a horizontal piece of wood, the bird will stop. But this is doable in iPhone 3Gs so keep trying
LOL. I challenge anyone to be my low score, while still completing the level. I just got 76,710 (1 star) with one bird. Everything kind of clogged up the leading to the TNT at the bottom. Speaking of shots that I bet I can’t repeat. . .

Birdleader, some of the “next” and “previous” buttons below recent Pignic videos lead to Carnival videos. Recently I entered my score below the video and it asked me to “Sumbit”. Fantastic site though.
Everyone knows the “Sumbit” button is short for “Sumbit** just beat my high score.” Aloha.
Thanks for the heads up. The arrows currently just go back or forth in time. You end up on a Carnival Upheaval walkthrough because they were posted between Summer Pignic walkthroughs. Anyhow, I’ll have to look into how to fix that. What do you mean it asked you to, “Submit”? Like an alert box came up?
Submit was misspelled as Sumbit.

Below the video, it nicely reminds me that I haven’t entered any score yet. So I push the button to enter the score and it shows a “Sumbit” button to confirm that I want to submit the score after I enter it. (Just a typo: Sumbit = Submit.)
Below the video and on the same line as the high score, where it says “Last score entered for this level was ###,### [edit]” – if you click on the [edit] hyperlink it brings up a text entry box. Right after the box there is a button labeled “Sumbit” instead of “Submit” – the typo has been there for a long time. I just get a chuckle cuz… Well, read my joke above. Yes, I’m easily amused. On my iPhone4, if I push the middle of the video it runs fine. If instead I reload the page and push the YouTube logo, it goes to YouTube and tells me about needing Adobe Flash. When I go to the Adobe page, see that Flash is not supported for iOS, I return back to YouTube and the video plays at YouTube. Very odd.
By the way, is your iOS up to date?
Has anybody 0 birded this level? I came very close. Both the right and left structures are unstable and will collapse. The right more often (about every 20-30 attempts?), the left just once so far. Best destruction for me so far was when the right towers stone blocks clipped the lower wood on the left tower. Cleared right side completely, and all but the second pig from left (bigger one) were cleared. Left over was a lot of wood on the left side so I am guessing a higher maximum score from 1-Birding it, but for those who like to chase minimum birds too, I wondered if it seems possible to 0-bird.By the way, stuck at 99K as the above collapse did not let me cleanly get off a shot to complete. Still trying.
Not yet. Right tower 27k with 0 birds and left one wobbled for a long time.112k using Joes method. I even hit it too hatd and destroyed nothing but birds yielding 2 stars but satisfying. I think I have also destroyed every patch of grass. No egg yet. If I had an iPhone I might able to get 10k more whith its better screen feel over my htc aria.
I dont know if is a bug or feature but its there.
107850 high so far. Have any of you reset on this level and instead of your score appearing as zero it shows 20 points? It’ happened three times. Not going to make any huge difference just asking.
I’m a newbie for posting on the leaderboard or posting a comment but this is the first time I’ve had a score truly worthy of mentioning. I hit 119,650 while trying to replicate the single bird method and get up to the 110,000 level.
First bird didn’t make it all the way through the left tower but took out leftmost pigs and caused the remaining portions of the left tower to shake. I waited to see if it would fall and it tumbled to the right and hit the right tower. When the right tower collapsed and the TNT exploded, some debris fell back to the left and exploded the TNT in the left tower. Only a couple small pieces were left standing on top of the left pillar. Best previous score on the level had been 112,300.
Congrats! That’s quite a score, especially without help from the randomblocktowertumblebeforeyouevenshootyourfirstbirdglitch that keeps making scores on these Summer Pignic levels hard to keep up with. Way to go! Aloha.

I have not encountered any of the above shaky tower experiences. Believe me I should know I have been trying this all day. Both on the ipod and ipad.
I cannot get a bird to fly high enough over the double piece of wood on that second layer. At least not on an angle to come down as shown in the video. I have been going straight through the double piece of wood. Some times speeding right through tower one and two taking out all the pigs, and not touching any tnt ,high or low, with a discouraging score and three spare birds.
When I have one birded it successfully the score is barely over 100,000.
So I am sitting at 107,000 on both ipod and ipad. I am just not getting any more points no matter what. Guess I just don`t have that caveman mentality it takes to really conquer this one.
Does everyone on birdsnest enter their scores? I have not yet.I certainly would if it would benifit anyone. I am somewhat of an average player.
I got from 80k to 112k one birding it. It all depends on how much tnt goes up. I would guess anything past 120k would be verry hard. I have seen the right tower collapse with 0 birds and 20 points added.
I almost go straight up an over and it took me many tries to get from 100+k to 110+k. It took me 1000 tries to replicate the video on that one shot destrution of the lunar lander.
I would rather find an than be at the top of the leader board and be able to get the mighty eagle like you iphone folks.

It has no effect on your scores whatsoever. Just another challenge for those who can’t get enough Angry Bird feed. Plus it isn’t available on any version of AB besides the original; ME isn’t an option yet in Seasons nor Rio.

I got 125K+, and when I was showing a friend of mine on his 3GS how I did it, I made him get 115K+ with the first try, can’t seem to get the same score on my device at all … Lol … Can I post this as my high score :)
Like the video, but I just got a bit more debris. one bird aiming high and at the turning point activate him. If done right he will go thru all the wood straight to the right side. I got 113220 this way.
