Same strategy as video. There is a sweet spot on the first shot which causes both the wooden towers to collapse and take out pretty much everything. It happened to me and I used all but the last bird to clear up what was left for a score of 283,000. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was more to come from somebody.

As far as I remember, the sweet spot is around the small middle support triangle on the left of the roof.

There is a partially self-destruct here. After the game started, the left tower fell to left for 25K.

Same for me @bernersenn, but the leftmost part of the pillar at ground level also fell, giving 33+K.

There is also a weird white block way up in the sky which you can see if you do a “shoot the moon” throw with the first yellow bird.

If you get it just right it will hit the white block (out of sight) and fall on top of the gingerbread star on the right tower causing it to collapse.

I haven’t worked out if this is a winning strategy yet, but it might be worth exploring.

I’ve been working with a different strategy which has given 275k so far. First bird at the first tower just above the supporting triangle. Second bird take out the snow under the left roof and then slice through down to the pig in the ice block low right. It is not necessary to go all the way. Trigger Tony between the second and third roof. The second roof seems almost impossible to bring down so there will usually be some part of it left. Stella as in video. Then usually it is necessary to use the last bird to bring down the remaining part of the second roof and destroy some ice in the lower right corner.

I like your strategy, after attempting many times, I finally got 264k!!

I’ve been using this approach too, it’s more reproducible but I have only got 259k so far.

I’m having trouble with Tony this morning – if I fling him to the far right his power doesn’t work. Anywhere up to the tower of ice with the wee pig on top he’s fine, but once he passes that point he doesn’t work.
So far it doesn’t look like a necessary shot, I’m finding him more useful elsewhere.

Yes I found the same thing. I think there is a line of tiny “supports” in the sky or something – his power doesn’t work if he impacts any structure before triggering.

Tony doesn’t like the big snowballs.

Forget the above comment. That guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Yes there are anchor points holding up the structure in addition to the snow. That’s why the second roof is so hard to bring down.

If anyone fancies a different (and quite tricky) strategy you could try this one:

First bird over everything and take out the drone at the far end
Second (big red) bird hitting the triangle at the base if the upper tower. If you get this right it should go all the way through to the TNT
Third bird (big grey – Tony?) – through the snow underneath the first triangular tower – if you get this right it should bring the first tower down
Fourth bird – Stella – to hit the left side of the ice on top of the next triangular tower. She should then pick it up and drop it through the remaining two towers. As it is indestructible it will go all the way through. If you get all this right…
Fifth bird – small blue – through the remaining ice tower mopping up the rest of the points.

I’ve been able to get around 270,000 (occasionally) with this strategy. Not as much as my best score but that was helped by the upper front tower collapsing all by itself.

@greybrow53 This strat makes the level one in the Ski or Squeal episode that is finally a little bit more about skills and a little less about luck. I enjoyed playing it this way.

I’ve been playing around with two different ways. First as video. Had a hard time getting average score. Secondly I was trying the “shoot the moon” way as @greybrow53 mentioned. I was never able to find a block but chuck seemed to have more power shooting the moon coming down on the right side of the far tower which did a lot more damage then the video method which gave me a pretty nice competitive score.
