Angry Birds Seasons Hogs And Kisses 3 Star Walkthrough Level 6

One strategy for Hogs and Kisses level 6 is to “shoot the moon” with a vertical shot from the Yellow bird. Watch the video to figure out the timing to get the Yellow bird through the Cupid Pig and into the TNT below. Blast the pigs on the swings with another Yellow bird, and clean up as needed. The score in the video below is 69,990 — almost a little upsetting, to be honest.

possible for 2nd yellow bird to kill both pigs; the small one on the ground and on the swing

By Wilks666

71110 didn’t use the trick that shows on this vid possibly because too much pressure trying to get the right moment going with the first bird hitting the pig & TNT. I used the first bird to hit the annoying Cupid pig & hit the cloud blocks above the swing & killed one of the pig on swing instead. Then the second yellow bird to hit the TNT & the white egg dropping bird to take care of the rest

By Mark

It is possible to get that one with only two yellows. Begin like shown. If, with a little bit ;) of luck, one of the two small grey stones reaches the small piggi on the ground, then you only have to get the far swing. Scored 77560. Good luck.

Thank you Mark for the post about the two birds. Work great! Flying debris after the first Yellow Bird makes it possible. The 3P’s come into play with this level: Patience, Perseverance which provide the opportunity for Practice on doing the strategy over and over until the desired outcome is obtained.
The difference in the outcome was that the far right pig on the ground remained for the second Yellow Bird.

By Mark

Also, if the first swing rolls the piggi on the ground toward the far edge, one can try and shoot the far swing from underneath the piggi (as in don’t hit the piggi directly). When it falls, it takes with, the one on the ground to piggi heaven (or hell…)

By stephen

if you shoot the yellow birds straight up, there are “cloud” blocks up there…i’ve hit them a bunch of times…anyone know if there’s anything up there?

By One-six

I have the same question about the cloud blocks. Anyone else been able to get something from em?

By opossums5

73370. If you shoot the 1styellow bird into the lower cloud blocks, it cuts the invisible rope to Cupid pig. Get lucky and the bird will then fall down onto the TNT. Use the 2nd yellow bird to take care of the pigs on the swings.

When I was trying to beat average score on this one, I ended up getting 8th place on the leaderboard with only 1,600 off the lead spot. I tweeked my method and ended up with the top spot. Here’s how:
1. High arc timed to take out cupid pig and crash through left of house to take out TNT. Wait until cupid is almost all the way left to fire bird. Sometimes the stone pillar will get pushed enough by blast to take out all but last swing pig. Also, sometimes it leaves a lot of wood or even the big pig. That’s perfectly fine.
2. Use 2nd yellow to clean up wood and big pig if he’s still there.
3. Fire whitey all the way right, almost skimming any debris left. Drop egg so she flies up and takes out last swing pig. Her egg will take out other pig on the deck if the stone did not.
4. 10,000.
Hopefully this helps someone. Now, back to trying to get above average scores on the rest of ABS. I just have Seasons Greedings, Trick or Treat and Year of the Dragon left.

Just like @rdnzlrips82 described for the first shot, down through cupid pig. I didn’t get the tnt (my shot went a bit too far right), but the stone tower toppled and took out everything except the far right pig in the swing. The large pig on the left was still alive, also.
Second bird just like the first, but a bit more to the left to get the tnt. Got the large pig and debris flew over and got the far right pig.
Ended up with 57230 + 20k bonus.

There’s a lot of points in them thar stones. :) The clarification I’d make is that you want to drop the egg on the leftover stone and wood debris on the right side, choosing your spot carefully so that it does maximal damage.

If you do it this way, though, you definitely have to cross your fingers and hope that the falling swing gives a tug to “the pig on the deck,” as you describe it. I nearly had 80.2k once, but that pig was rolling left and I needed it to fall off the edge to pop. Instead, it stopped, smirking at me, perched on the extreme leftmost side of the platform. I was a little miffed! But I kept chipping away and eventually ended up at 78k, which I’m pretty happy with. The strategy works

@burbman – Yes, I can see bottom half of clouds…there are more up there (like 5)then I can see, but I can see the two bottom ones, barely…but if you want to try and see them throw the yellow bird way up high, left of where the score is in the upper right hand corner and it brings the screen down and you may be able to see them. I wanted to see what was up there so I threw him to the right of the clouds cause it brings them in to view, kinda like some hidden egg levels have in the past…hope you know what I mean by that. There are two bottom ones, side by side and if you hit the right one kinda to the left and/or middle of this cloud it causes the cupid pig to die and if you get the angle right it can come down and ignite tnt…it is a very precise, difficult shot when you can see the clouds so trying to do it with out being able to see them maybe be impossible, lol. I have managed it several times but out of lots of tries…I have also hit both clouds in attempt to have it land on tnt..in other words, the right cloud is tied to Cupid but either cloud can break with yellow bird and get you some points and the tnt. I think I am gonna try again but use third bird for extra points because based off the above post it seems you get higher score with three birds. That being said a good strat would be to hit the right cloud which gets cupid then just high arch the second yellow bird in a regular manner to get tnt, not worrying about trying to bounce off cloud, then third bird to far right pigs. 1) Launch first Yellow Bird as shown in video, but you must time your launch so that as Yellow bird is in descent, he takes out angel pig as well as detonate the TNT, knock the chimney over on top of little miss muffett, and with a little luck also take out the first two little piggies on the far side.
2) Launch second Yellow Bird at a low to medium arc at the remaining piggie on the last swing.

Actually @to-walking-tall it was from a failed 1-birder attempt. The first shot started tipping the chimney a little slower than it needed to be. When the bird went back and hit the board, the bird itself triggered the TnT which helped give the chimney a nice, big push to the right. The only pig remaining was the swing pig on the far right and I had 55k after the first shot. Sent the 2nd yellow to the right and took out two clouds, the swing ropes, the swing and the pig.
The 1-birder eluded me 3 resets before this score.

The cupid pig has to be in the farthest left position preparing to stop and go back to the right for you to get the proper angle on the first shot.

To clean up all the wood from the house and chuck skipped across the stone with nary a let off in speed and popped up when hitting a small stone left from the top of the chimney and careened over to take out both swing pigs. That left a wide clear shot for the egg dropper to go low and drop over the remaining stone and take out the rightmost lowest two clouds a kill the last tiny pig.

Aiming note. As rd says about the Cupid pig. Line up YB so that his nose is just touching the sling post and release as CUPIG just starts to slow down. Puts them on the right collision path every time.
