Three-star line somewhere between 67230 and 68420, so most likely 68k.
This is one weird level! First bird angled up toward top pig/ball, and try to push it to the silver ball so both slam dunk. Silver ball falls back and destroys half of the large red structure. Big red into the middle of the tail feathers of the smaller structure to push it forward to take out the rest. Tried it lots if times with only a few higher scores.
This was a helpful strategy @peejaydee27, thank you!
One birder using same aim point as video only slightly higher. Got several salm dunk credits and after all the balls stopped bouncing, no piggies were left. Could not repeat, just one of those freaky luck shots.
It’s not at all frustrating to see the yellow bird bounce off the basketball attached to the ladder or, even worse, to have it “clip” big brother at launch…
This level deserves a label “do not enter if in a bad mood”… wow, this one gave me fits all on it’s own. But finally I did manage a one birdie by activating Yellow bird right from the slingshot towards the pig with the basketball. I got a score of 72910.
Here is my my video.
Don’t despair if you can’t get @e-star‘s one birder. As long as you have one slam dunk and the back of the big red bird mainly destroyed, there’s a very sweet spot just above the tail feathers on the smaller red bird.
But it is a truly annoying level.
A quick and dirty strat ( @e-star was right with her annoying level): yellow bird in a high arc into the hoop. Together with the iron ball it yields 10k + some desfruction below. Then Terence into the tail feathers of the left structure – done.
Thanks @bernersenn and @lesleygv again your suggestion of a second shot got me above average and in top 100 on this one:)
@kathy glad you made it
Thanks @bernersenn :)
There’s something curious going on. I’ve come back to play HD to see if there are easier levels (this isn’t one!) and when I downloaded HD a number of my scores were missing!
79340 with 2 birds.
Exactly like in the video with a small twist: just fling Terence as soon as possible to maximize damage and, hopefully, to send one or two balls back in the hoop.
Here is the final result.
And the highscore screenshot.
@wthewop000 – congratulations on your score! Do you know that you could get the Underdog badge for that? You need to post your strategy, provide a screenshot with your score, and mention sweetp.
Just like many if not most of you, I never look at the Nest strats or video until I 3 star a level. I had to make an exception with this level. In fact I am having a great deal of difficulty 3 starring it AFTER looking at the video and strats. Very frustrating level.
I am coming back through after completely have Seasons wiped for me (thanks Rovio!) and agree with @stocktoad about frustrating! – there can’t be many levels in all of the AB games where you’re (stocktoad) only <1K above the 3* threshold.
I remember finally getting it the first time through and not even looking back for more points.
WHIIIIIINE!
Here’s my little contribution. Try to send Chuck through the ladder pig so that he (Chuck) undercuts the basketball and sends it up to rebound off the backboard. This will jar the metal bball loose and send the rebounded bball back into the middle of the level. Hopefully the rebounded bball will pull off a miracle.
Very similar to the video but the basketball bounced off the back board and went left into the porch area to obtain extra points.
