This is our walkthrough video for Angry Birds Rio Smugglers Plane Star Bonus Level #18. The level is unlocked by earning 70 stars in Smugglers Plane. Fling a Red bird straight ahead, through the small crate on the left side and onward into the TNT below. Use two Yellow bird to blast the cages that remain, targeting the fire extinguisher with the latter bird. The score in the video below is 90,220.

I found it difficult to get the first shot to break the second horizontal wood plank reliably. However, I was able to still get 90190, with 3 birds even when it didn’t break. Second shot took out the two cages stacked on top of eachother, and 3rd shot took out tower before fire extinguisher. I was lucky in that the stone triangle on top fell to right, and broke wooden box at base of last tower.
First bird to stone triangle, need whole right side to collapse, 2nd bird to top little box and takes down a little of left side, 3rd bird to big box goes thru and ignites TNT, I had cage with blue and green birds still left, didn’t get em with first shot so I used 4th bird to get em, if I had got em with first bird woulda had 96k.
I think I got pretty lucky on this level, but managed its two shots. First bird I send straight ahead to the big box, if you hit it right you can break both the big and small box and set off the TNT to get a collapse to the front of the structure, second I went over the first structure and the into the back structure in order to break the big box and also set off the fire hydrant either with the bird or falling debris. If the back collapse correctly you will also have two of the crates in the back coming down for some extra points. On my high score I somehow managed to also collapse what was left of the front structure with the 2 shot, this has only happened once for me, until that point I have used the third as well
Same as Rocklands and with two birds but for less points. Was pretty impressed with myself till I came here and saw what @rocklands had done. Congrats, this is a great score.
Thanks @rocklands for the great strat ;-) I did get a few two birdies but my scores were 95K+ and 96K+. I got my highest score with three birds.
Here’s how it worked for me:
I sent the first one at the top of the big left box. It broke both boxes and throws the stones at the front of the structure. You can get lucky with this shot and also break up the middle of the first structure only leaving the red and yellow bird cage. When this happens, scores are around 26K – 28K. Otherwise if you just get the front, scores are more in the 22K range.
For the second bird, I did better when I hit very high up on the big crate in the back, sometimes hitting the vertical cement planks. This more often allows those two left boxes to fall down too. I found you need them to fall and get the fire extinguisher to explode to get a really good score. My score at this point was 65K.
I then sent the third bird at the horizontal plank just under the thin cement vertical plank under the remaining yellow and red bird cages that were left in the middle structure.
97920 Three birds. If debris flew over and got those last two cages I would have had about 108K. It was so close! Debris bumped them but they didn’t fall, ugh ;-(
When I got it with two birds, twice, I got a few less debris points. Either the two boxes didn’t fall and/or only the first part of the front structure went down with the first bird…leaving that middle section intact. It is cool though when the fire extinguisher explodes just right, that concrete cement triangle from the top right flies over and takes out those middle birds. Nice strat…thanks again ;-)

Thanks @rocklands for the strategy @lesleyg for the tips and @comex666 for the video. Used three birds. Zoomed out. My challenge was the fire extinguisher on the right. A few times the yellow bird hit it then a stone fell on it and finally two wood pieces fell on it and it still didn’t activate. Got lucky a few times and activated it with the second bird and was able to obtain an above average score and the present score. Another fun level to fling.
