Angry Birds Rio Mango #6 Walkthrough Level 13 (11-13)

This video shows you how to get the mango that is hidden in Angry Birds Rio Smugglers’ Plane Level 13 (11-13). The largest tire behind the slingshot platform is labeled. A soft, arcing shot with a Yellow Bird can reach the tire properly.

The video is fine. Not sure what the complaint is. The goal is to pop the tire. Straightforward, I think.

Soft arcing shots to the left can work as well.

i finally got it – the key here is “soft arcing shots” – but it does work – thank you

That is the strategy I used a slight pull on the sling and the bird doesn’t go very high and when it makes it’s arc to go downward activate it to get the mango.

I couldn’t hit the tire hard enough with the “soft arcing shots.” I’m on a Samsumg Galaxy S, I zoomed “out” so the picture was smaller, scrolled as far to the right as I could so there was space between the tire and the left of the screen. I then used the soft shot to start the tire rolling, Then I shot the 2nd yellow bird at the rolling tire just before it disappeared off the screen.

This worked for me on the PC version.

I got the fruit before even watching this video the exact same way. The key is to hit the tire over and over again then wait and the fruit will appear.

For sure most people will have this already, but here’s another approach if you are having a hard time with this. After bouncing YB off the platform , and it rolls to the tire, sometime the tire rolls further away from the platform. When this happened, I was able to take a straight shot (not arching or bouncing) and hit the tire with a bit more force.

Hope this helps someone.

Oh, duh, I didn’t read the comments (and it drives me crazy when others don’t do it!). This is pretty much. What rhodesmk is suggesting.

I guess more descriptions of the same phenomena doesn’t hurt anything.

for those who can’t do the soft arcing shot … what i did (and this works well on tablets and phones) is aim the bird VERY SLIGHTLY LEFT of straight up. pull down as far as you can then move finger or mouse right until the bird is just barely wedged in the middle of the sling. release and IMMEDIATELY TAP to accelerate. it takes a few tries to get the aim down, but the first shot will graze the big tire and cause it to roll. then take a second, identical shot and voila…fruit.
