This is our walkthrough video for Angry Birds Rio Golden Beachball Star Bonus Level #24. The level is unlocked by earning 70 stars in Golden Beachball. Our strategy is to bounce the Red bird off the umbrella in front of the slingshot platform. Ideally, the Red bird should bounce off both umbrellas and into the sand blocks above. Finish the level by flinging Big Brother straight ahead into the windmill and main tower. The score in the video below is 140,670.

What worked for me was to take out the support at the base of the windmill with the first bird, sending the spinning blades into the first structure, then sending Big Brother to bounce around as in the video. Either way works, still playing around to see which one gives a better score.
Same here. First bird to the base, second to mop up as much as possible below (think I had around 90k at this point), reverse remi to the top. 157k
160k with video method. Almost 1-birdied it a few times, perhaps that explains current top score of 170k.
I have my current high, not quite avg yet, using this method, I find the Big Brother Bouncing ‘Brella far more forgiving than little red.
I read below about a reverse remi, I might combine that with using BigBro to bust some coconuts on the ground – they’re 5K each and if I can get 3 or 4 that outweighs the 10K for a bird.
Sweet, as I said I would finally got > Avg at 150K. Now to chase the 170’s.
To recap:
first bird to base of tower, trashed first structure and dropped the coconuts off the arms
Second bird into the coconuts, got 13 or 14K total damage – could get more.
third bird “reverse remi” as perfected in GB 30-star level; let it actually start to settle before activating for better hang time
I just sent the first bird over the structure instead of trying to figure out the bounce and spinner timing.
@myselfandme, did you get a 1-birder for 161k?
@myselfiandme
No, two birded. Just got good damage. The over the top throw breaks the wood plank most of he time, but about one in ten times it doesnt break the plank….and the first bounces over onto the umbrella and up into the upper stuff. Just another way to do the first shot if you are having trouble with the video first shot. @bonneypattycat
I thought it might be a 1-birder when you said you avoided the spinner timing. I have no trouble with the video first bird, it is the second one I find challenging. @myselfiandme
Gettin’ real bored with the exhibition of survival skilz by that 1st little marmoset on the left…
Hey @78rpm, at least you’ve surpassed the 3 star threshold. I’m still stuck on 2 stars. BTW, you going Gangsta on us? “Skilz”?
Sorry, I was stuck at 2 stars, but no more.
The first bird in the same way as a video.
Because the second bird gets the base of the building out of order when I break the ball which a body of rotation has.

If a building staying falls down, I think that I bring it close to tops core.
Just managed 170k with the video method. This level been bugging me for a while, haven’t managed to really get good scores. For the 2nd shot I went slightly higher than the video, taking trajectory that will take you to the top corner of the front stone triangle. If you time it right it will go through the coconuts and get most of them for lots of extra 5k points. Just luck it seems.
@rocklands, this tip works good for me. Also I flinged Terence directly as soon he us available in the sling. Some debris was pushed to the right, where it was destroyed by the falling tnt’s. Thanks. 160k yet.
Oops, 180 k with this method. Slight detail: wait with flinging Terence till you can get as much coconuts as you can get. http://angrybir.de/12Bjg9c
great job @bernersenn congrats
thx to @rocklands

Videos are always helpful!
Excellent tip! Thank you … and sorry…
My way to coconuts: launching Terence at about 30°, just before they are horizontally aligned.
final state (partial, sorry for zooming in…)
score
@bernersenn, I could kiss you! The tip of flinging Terence ASAP did the trick in very short order!
@bonneypattycat, I’m glad it worked for you to, you helped me lots of times with your strats, finally I can do something for you
I followed the video method except I sent Terence in a little higher so he hits the vertical wooden plank just above the stone triangle. I also fling Terence quickly after the 1st shot as suggested by @bernersenn, thank you for the tip my friend, & congrats on your high score! :)
To time the shot to get the coconuts I was releasing Terence just as the spinning plank was completely horizontal as he hits both arms of the plank as he goes through. I can usually get at least 3 of them, but I don’t think I ever got all 6. When I scored 172k I managed to get 5.
@karen68, you’re welcome. These coconuts are key here.
I also used the ABN video. Thanks to @bernersenn @zolb and @karen68 for the tips on the coconuts.
154110 with one birdie just like the video. Pretty disappointing really. Was holding my breath for a great score when everything fell so nicely but, no bananas this time. Back to the drawing board but just so you know, don’t chase the 1 birdie dream.
@lighston Congratulations on the great score, 5k above second place!
Can you offer which strat you used, or any tips ? I would greatly appreciate trying to improve my pathetic score:/
