Angry Birds Red’s Mighty Feathers Level 24-7 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Red’s Mighty Feathers level 24-7 is to direct the Red bird through the first four ropes above the level and into the final suction container beyond. The suction can destroy nearly anything it touches, so there are plenty of damage points to be had. Use another Red bird to pop the piggy in the far-right corner of the level. The score in the video below is 100,980.

I did this one just slightly different than the video. I aimed for the top of the left rope holding up the tnt and aimed for that hanging engine (?) in the center. Knocked the engine into the piggie on the right with the umbrella. The engine falls down in the center and mayhem ensues. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but it seemed fairly repeatable in the 105+ range.
The main variable is how the vacuum falls and what it sucks up. On the 107k it worked its way down to the left and sucked up everything on the right.

Thank you @78rpm for posting your strategy. Gained over 20k in points and finally obtained an above average score.
Found that if the hanging tnt falls and activates below had a bit higher scores than blowing the tnt when hitting the engine above. It was much easier to knock loose the hanging engine by blow through the hanging tnt and letting debris activate the tnt below.
Got lucky with the vacuum container in that it stayed on the bottom and sucked mostly everything that was there.

One birder, 112k without collapse. I have found that if you actually hit the top TNT instead of the rope support it will cause a better chain reaction, knocking the vacuum into the right hand side pig, destroying it. Vacuum will then fall into the gap and with a bit of luck suck and explode everything else.

As an aside I do think this is a possible 0 bird. After the self destruction of the left side the central vacuum does sway quite a lot. Where it to fall then anything is possible. Patience in spades will be needed.

Came back after initial 3* ( not that easy to obtain) to improve to above average & surprised at how difficult it was to improve upon my initial 3*/2-birder of 101680 on Android phone, let alone get a score close to 104k +.

I don’t know what I was doing wrong, but I couldn’t break 100k again until I read the strategy by @steviep147. After a dozen or so shots aiming at TNT, I lucked out & managed a 1-birder for 109410. See pic for approx 40 degree angle & boost spot which not only took out upper TNT, but knocked down middle with vacuum suction eventually sucking lots of debris, all piggies & exploding lower left TNTs: http://angrybir.de/1agzTsm. I know it’s not a great score, but I’m not giving up yet ; – )

Nice score @steviep147! I agree with you about exploding the TNT first and then cutting the rope of the vacuum into the right pig on the hill. I’ve done it a few times now, but so far can’t get the vacuum to do more damage, since it doesn’t always fall parallel to the ground or large pieces of debris is blocking the opening. I just have to keep on flinging and hoping the L-factor kicks in!

Hi,

After 4th new bird on level 12-1, I see there is a second rope at the first vacuum with the update 3.4.0.
Now its very hard to finish the level with only one bird… Rovio? WTF!?!

Rank: Avian Overlord with 15905 points
By Ladybird (@diannas)Score: 112,010

bastieroxxor….Agreed, I second that! Why do they change the levels after first release creating an uneven playground for those who play later?
They fixed the left structure, no more self destruction, not even a small wobble. It is solid, that is fine. But then they added the added extra rope on first vacuum stabilizing it so it will not easily swing around over to hit top right pig. I did it with 1 bird a few times, but not enough force to even get two stars.

Sooooo if you are playing after the update, the added rope did create more of challenge and you can’t compete the same with the prior flingers. If you can get it over to hit right pig, it doesn’t have the same force and can even get sucked up by the far right vacuum!

So you have to do this with 2 birds. I found to get the most points is to get that first vacuum to face right and suck up all the pigs and structure.

I would fling first red bird straight to the top using the rock tip on the right as the target point. Send Red skimming along the bottom of rock formation, cutting all 4 ropes then hit far right hanging vacuum causing it to swing and Red to ricochet around. The TNT should drop and take out the whole left side, the first vacuum hopefully to fall to bottom, whirl around some and then stop facing right sucking up everything at the bottom.

Red bird should be bouncing around with the help of the suction from the swing vacuum and hopefully (maybe) hit something worhwhile (like top right pig?) or just bounce around for some additional points. At this point after the first Red bird you need to have over 70k if you want to score over 100k total, if not reset. Send second red bird to take out the far right pig.

Then try over and over and over and over and over again for a few days to maybe get a score within the top 100 on the leaderboard! Not easy, just need the three “P’s” and lots of “L” some whining couldn’t hurt either. Happy flinging!

One-birder — just like first shot in the video but something hit the wheel supporting the far right pig and broke the tether holding him in place. After all of the other pigs popped, he floated to the left and was caught in the suction and popped too. It’s the same old lame excuse — I turned away for a moment and, by the time that I looked back, I missed seeing precisely what happened.

It is still possible to get the one birder with the extra rope, but the aiming has to be different from Dr O’Neski’s video. I got one using a straight across the top through the ropes shot, and another actually shooting at a slight upward angle. The upward angle is difficult, but seems to be more likely to send the suckmaster into the top right pig. Unfortunately the suckmaster didn’t land quite right in either case and I ended up with one birder scores of 101k and 104k.

Hi @stocktoad. All of my bigger scores have been 1-birders based on Dr O’N’s video. I think high scores can only be achieved with a 1-bird shot. For my current best score, I did a high backward arc, and tapped just above and to the right of the right-side rope of the vacuum. As usual, whatever strat you try gives widely varying results, but this was my most consistent shot. “Onwards and upward” so they say…gonna keep trying a while :))

Then finally, I started getting good 1 bird finishes. Went to 112 and then to the 114. I found going similar to @asher trajectory gave me the best results. Of course, we now have the two ropes holding middle vacuum, I alternated tapping on left rope, then right rope and sometimes in-between the ropes. Okay so no puppy for me today, but today’s challenge was very satisfying in that I did raise myself way way up in the leaderboard from the earth’s core. :-)
