One strategy for Angry Birds Red’s Mighty Feathers level 24-2 is to target the small wooden block under the rightmost pig, causing the structure to topple inward. Now target the ice block of the left tower to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 90,650.

Did it happen before you tossed the first bird, or after falling the right side?
@Bonneypattycat — Happened before I shot any birds. CC Jolly reported this in the forum, so I opened level, and it fell the 1st time, but not the next 5 or so. I probably won’t have much time to spend on new reports until after vacation (I will be on vacation 9/22 to 10/6).
Appreciate any data you or other users can get.
I had the same thing happen twice after firing at the right hand structure. I was using a higher arc than before. Definitely not what I was expecting and it made the second shot more difficult.
For the right side, easier to aim for the glass behind the pig, but I don’t know if it makes a difference for points.

I shot the first shot high arc over first tower, just to the left of green bird at right bottom. Tap on right side of bird & smash through upright glass. The whole right side should crash down , try for 35k . Second shot per vidio .100k+ possible. On my last try first shot33k , but bubbles kept hitting steel cart scoring points till it exploded, left tower wobbled and fell to left, one bird 10510.dont know how often this occurs, but hope the first shot helps.

I used a low arc over the left tower and activated the Red Bird just over the tower to hit the vertical glass plank just to the right of the lowest green pig. Scores needed over 38k+ for the first bird.
Launched the second Red Bird just over the left tower and activate it when it becomes horizontal with the vertical glass plank next to the helmeted pig. The straight line shot may break through the wood planks and cause them to fall to the left to gain additional points.
112140 – one bird, shot as described by @wrw01 but I did not take a direct angle to the vertical glass, instead slightly lower to hit the tiny wood block to the right of the single pig which then went into the vertical glass piece. Not sure if this really makes a difference but seems to weaken the wooden box below the single pig. Good amount of damage when I noticed the left tower swaying. Eventually the tower fell to the right crashing into the cart and the helmet pig slowly rolled off to the right as well.
@thetoddman23, @wrw01, very good observation. I will add here that the ‘self-collaps’ of the left structure occurs when you fling the bird just over it.
Just got 111k by using this method. Left tower collapsed to the left, while these blowing bubbles were torturing the two piggs in and on their vehicle. In this game, persistance and patience come together. Happy flinging

97040 without the self collapse and 104310 with left tower collapse. I don’t count the self collapse scores and don’t know the policy on that. I used @wrw01 strategy.

The self collapse scores are deemed legit since you did NOT user a power up and since the self collapse is avail to every one, you can post it and not feel like you’re cheating
OK…makes sense to me. Now I need to ask if all of these scores similar to your score are achieved using the collapse or using the strategies described here by others. I need to know which direction I should be going to crank up my score. Thanks for your input.
@mikeinmont, I think scores approaching 110k must involve the self collapse. Most of the time, the strucure falls left, which I didn’t find of much help. Less often, it will fall right, resulting in the higher scores. It happens often enough and worth waiting for. I can get a right collapse within a minute or two after restarting, and it only takes a short time to see which direction, if any, the structure is going to fall.
I have yet to see it fall right, after probably 200 times. A few falls to the left, but then you have to get lucky in getting the bottom bubbler to get tilted enough to destroy the cart with the two piggies. I have seen it sway many times to the right, but at a certain point it just stops. Can’t seem to break 100k yet, but will keep trying.
@pointdexter, with other unstable levels that I had difficulty getting the collapse, I found it sometimes helps to hard close the app and try again. With this level I could get a right collapse within 30 minutes of trying. GL!

I took out the right we, and then my left side collapsed in its own afterwards.
Been busy playing the new Star Wars 2, so I’m just now back to take another run through these levels. Glad I finally got this 1-birder.
Just got my 1 birder in a funny way. Got the shaky left side to fall left but this time the the bubble machine in the middle leaned to the left after the right side collapse. It kept on shooting the bubbles under the edge of the cart slightly letting it and dropping it. On about the tenth bubble it broke apart killing the pigs inside. There’s a lot of these type surprises in this episode where you use the pigs weapons against them. Pigs killed by friendly fire. LOL..
Headed over to report what seemed like an awesome score only to see others have had some luck with instability. Well, The left tower won’t topple for me, even after resetting to the point of rebooting iPad. It shakes, slides to a point where it looks like there’s no coming back then re-stabilizes. This has happened a gazillion times now so I’m outta here for now. Am soo over it. Good luck to everyone else though.
Wow, finally had the left tower drop on its own but not for many more points. Seems the trick may be to fire the first shot then doze off whilst waiting for the tower to finish rocking. Woke up to a 1 birdie + a 4k improvement on my best score. Haven’t been able to make it happen again though. By the way, for the 105k, I had 33k with the 1st shot before fading into ‘nanna nap’ time. Good hunting fingers.

Has anyone experienced the instability factor kick in since the challenge started. I have read the posts above and have taken the first bird so close to the left tower that he had a very close shave but it didn’t trigger a collapse, perhaps they have fixed it so it no longer happens.
@windwalker – I have also gotten the 1st Red really close over top of the left tower and even activated him right after that – thinking his ‘wind’ might start the tower to shake a bit – but no such luck. I haven’t even seen that left tower shimmy at all. Oh well. But I have improved my score by about 7k with the 2 bird technique.
Also had that left lower pair of piggies in the cart destroyed when the lower bubble blower tipped left and let it run while the bubbles banged against the cart – upper pig popped on its own and the little wooden blocks on the right disintegrated – then the cart fell to the right. That was before I tossed 2nd Red to takeout top left tower. Can’t see getting a puppy today but it was good to get some more points.
@windwalker I am not a big fan of red’s mighty feathers, so I’m probably not the best judge, but…. I played on the PC for a while and had a couple of collapses (not that they helped me that much) I then switched to playing on BlueStacks, which is still on the PC, but uses the same apps as android. The BlueStacks game is the latest version, but since Rovio is no longer updating for PC, I have the older version on the regular PC game. The android (new) version showed no instability at all and I had no collapses or really any movement on the left side. I did get similar scores on both versions, but they do play a little bit differently. For instance, with the new version, “red” seemed to have more power. I could easily break the bottom left wood block under the left pig in the left tower. With the old version it is possible to break that block, but no where near as easy. My best guess is that they fixed it.

I’m playing on an iPad and thought it may have been that the iPads may have missed out on the ‘blip’ but obviously that is not the case. Oh well we all did ok without it and thanks again for taking the time and trouble.
