Angry Birds Poached Eggs 3 Star Walkthrough Level 3-3

Our strategy for Poached Eggs level 3-3 is to fire the Red bird into the top-right boulder, causing a cascade of rocks to fall onto the pigs below. Use the next Blue bird or two to drop the remaining boulders and pop any pesky pigs. The score in the video below is 63,260.

Although this level is a level of Luck, I did it slightly different and got 72720.

I shot the first bird straight through, bouncing it of the boulder. Then the bird bounces against the boulder on the far right.
The blue bird to finish it of.

75450 usung this method. key is to make all the big boulders fall down. Several 1birders scored lower. I guess the top scorers dit find a trajectory for a 1 birder that brings down almost all boulders as well.

Yet again, @estar, you found a great strategy. This time, it added more than 14,000 to my score (which was well below average, obviously). The trick to this one, at least for me, was the far right pig. The boulders do not want to go to that last slot.

Overall, I think the key is your approach, a smidgen of luck, and a bunch of patience!

Thanks @e-star. Used your method. Got all of the boulders to fall….finally. I’m still 9k short of the guys with the tops scores. Lot of blue ice blocks left, so I know there’s potential for more than my 79k

seeing this is the daily challenge: e-star’s strategy may yield 86k as shown by the screenshots at the end of this video, of which the initial part shows a 84k run of my ab-robot program playing this level according to that same strategy. the best scores after the 1st were around 43k (taking out only the pigs in the right half, if i remember correctly; could look it up), so 88k/top score might be reachable.

Scored 80k using this method. It takes some luck to get all the boulders to drop & at the same time have them crash around enough to rack up the points. And that darn piggie on the right loves to survive. Thank you @E-star! :)

@e-star ‘s first shot is the way to go. Reset if the far right piggie isn’t popped or you don’t have at least 35,000 points. (39,000 is a good first shot) What to do with the second shot???? ay, there’s the rub!

Instead of going for the furthest concrete ball on the top row, aim for the top of the concrete ball in the centre instead, with the aim being to knock that off and bounce into the furthest one anyway.
2nd bird do same as in video but aim down just a little more.
Got a score of 67810.

For those of you who use the Facebook version, use the birdquake and if you get lucky enough that should clear the board before you even have to shoot a bird.

I manage to get enough use of one red bird to kill all pigs… but somehow it’s only enough to get score around 55k (yeah, it’s worth 2 stars only)… wow

Used a similar strategy as @e-star, but aiming red bird at the first boulder and having it bounce off the top and knock down the top boulder in the middle. Got over 68,000 this way. Then tried e-star’s strategy of bouncing red bird off of the top middle boulder over to the top right boulder, and added over 6,000 to my score. Thanks e-star! Going to keep trying both strategies to see if I can improve.

I just got 84,190 playing it the E-Star way. Thanks @e-star !!! The critical part of the first shot is to get the piggie in the lower right corner; if not,start over. On the second shot,you need to get as many boulders to fall as possible. Having a lot of luck helps. Happy flinging !

Thank you @bonneypattycat. This level is very frustrating. I got my two highest scores within minutes of each other,however,that was hours ago. Try as I might, I just can’t score higher. I even managed a few 1-birders,but none were over 79,000. Oh well !!!

our NEW way is to simply use the birdquake. it will cause ALL boulders AND pigs to fall and crash the pigs, and will clear the level and win with 99,720 points!!!!!!!

I tried Seth’s NEW way and used the birdquake! Wow is that ever fun…. Let’s see, there are 393 levels altogether on original Angry Birds: using the birdquake costs about 5 cents: using the birdquake on all levels would cost about $20. I have an idea for Rovio. Make a SUPER BIRDQUAKE!!!!! It could be discounted down to maybe $15. Use the SUPER BIRDQUAKE one time and all the levels on all the games of Angry Birds would be cleared with maximum scores on each. That way we wouldn’t even have to play them! Wouldn’t that be great?

Love your comeback @Stocktoad! Just pay for game, purchase quake or other power-ups and one would never need to fling one bird!

And the reason for playing AB? !?!?!? Was this challenging? Did you score with top flingers with YOUR skills? Not.

Hey, this is just my opinion….to not allow comments with tips on use of power-ups or on other platforms (like Facebook on some chapters). They should not allowed to post on this leaderboard.

PU strats does not help ‘legal’ users here. Isn’t that what this forum is for? I think posting these ‘illegal’ tips using PU might create a mis-understanding that power-up scores are allowed in this forum? If it is commented here, it must be OK? (Especially for new comers)
Isn’t there a different leaderboard / forum just for Facebook or allows power-ups? Why not keep comments to the proper forum?

(Please, Just my thought…..Nothing personal to other platform or FB users, really! )

PS….Not all comments from FB involves power-ups.
I have found some comments from FB users or other platforms be very helpful! As long as it doesn’t use or suggest using PU.

OK, I will now jump off my ‘Soapbox’ and move on. :-)

THIS WAS IMPOSSIBLE IT TOOK ME LIKE !^ TRIES TO WIN WITH ALL OF THAT RAGE! I WAS DOING THAT SAME EXCACT THING IN THE VIDEO AND IT WAS NON WORKING!
