Angry Birds meet The Goonies: Angry Sloth
The Goonies have only days to save the Goon Docks from total annihilation from the ever expanding Astoria Country Club Fortunately, in Mikey’s attic lying unnoticed among other antiquities they found a map that will lead them on a grand quest to find One-Eyed Willie’s pirate ship. If they can keep Chunk from eating the map the treasure contained on Willie’s ship will surely be enough to save the Goondocks from certain destruction. Time is not on their side and crushing death and grief awaits around every turn. As The Goonies take refuge in the Fratellis hideout Bran is racing out to save his younger brother (on a little girl’s bike he stole because his big boy bike has a flat). Will Bran reach his brother in time? Probably. Are The Goonies going to give up? Never! Are the Goonies afraid? Yes! But Goonies never say die…especially when they’ve got — Hey You Guys!!! — Angry Sloth on their side. The fate of the Goon Docks rests in the yolk of this Angry — Maaa, You’ve Been Bad — Bird!
I know that was a longwinded way of saying that I’m a huge Goonies fan. So much so, awhile back I asked the amazing artist Olechka if she’d be interested turning one of The Goonies most iconic characters into one of today’s most iconic characters.
