Angry Birds Friends Winter Tournament III Level 1 – Week 31 – December 17th
Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Winter Tournament III Level #1 Week 31 (this tournament began the week of December 17th, 2012 and was considered “Day 1”). Our non TNT Drop strategy is to trigger the Santa Bomb and fling up up towards the top TNT. When you break the stone the top tower will begin to fall. At the same time Santa Bomb will start to roll back, fall, and then detonate. With a bit of luck you can finish off the level here. The score in the video is 136,490.
* Note, this is a special tournament (more info) celebrating the holiday season. If you truly want the highest possible scores in these levels you’ll most likely need to use Santa Bombs and TNT Drops. Since the placement of the TNT Drops is quite random, we want to show you a strategy that doesn’t require them.

Non Power-up Strategy
This level is quite challening to 3-star without Power-Ups. Fling the yellow bird up high to break top tower’s wood beam, sending debris raining down on both sides. If you’re really lucky you can 1-bird this. If not, use the second yellow bird to take out the middle structure. Again, this is not easy, as things have to fall just right. It’s definitely doable. My highscore using this strategy was 127 K, but the video failed to record.
