Angry Birds Epic has a special “Valentine’s Day!” event lined up for February 12. Similar to past special events, this mini campaign will stretch over a few days. The reward? A brand new class for the Blues.
- Mini Campaign: Accessible via gates throughout the main map.
- Valentine’s Day! Event: A linear campaign divided into sets of nodes, each with a special item to be collected. Each section unlocks over time.
- The Reward: a brand new class for the Blues called The Treasure Hunters
- … and a Mysterious Golden Pig Dungeon
Also worth noting is a new Set Item for Chuck called the “Reset Set” that is scheduled to be unlocked on February 25th as a calendar reward. This is the second Set Item that seems to have been designed for arena battles. Did you try them?

Seems cool!
After this class, each bird will have 6 classes. I hope after it, no new classes r going to appear. Smthg new has to be done cause for me one class or 2 for each bird is all I use!!
the reset set has a “25% chance to reset the charge bar of all enemies (even knocked out ones)”. anybody knows what this means?
Meaning, it resets their charge counter, for example, Brutes always has three turns to charge, so, when they’re about to charge you, it’ll resets their counter, same goes with Ghosts, when they are knocked out, they have 2 turns to revive..
What the treasure hunter ability?
The update for this event has dramatically increased the game speed! Everything loads at a decent rate, there are no longer the constant pauses and stutters in animations, even navigating around the main map is snappier. I can really tell the drop in CPU usage, too. It uses a little more than half the battery it used to and my devices don’t get as warm when playing. The previous update had improvements in those areas as well but not as dramatic as this one. Good job, Rovio!
One annoying thing in this update is that when you do a daily dundgon with merchant pig and the battle booster, the game glithches out and you cant play the level. What happens is merchant pig is the only pig on the screen, and he is facing backwards and no birds are on the screen, making the level unplayable.
