Angry Birds Danger Above 3 Star Walkthrough Level 7-6

Welcome to Hollywood! Our strategy for Danger Above level 7-6 is to bomb the first ‘O’ with the White bird. Popping more than one pig would be great, but not ultimately necessary. Land the Black bird on the right side of the ‘W’, blasting all pigs on the right side. At most, two pigs should remain on the left side. Use the White bird to take them out. The score in the video below is 76,370.

I found it better to go via two birder. First shot small angle dropping the egg the last moment between H and O taking ot both pigs. Then b/b LEFT of the W into the right side of the Y. Small angle, also. Place the bomb nicely downwards, killing the small pig. Explosion should take out the rest.

Wow, emider, great method. Just set the high for this level following exactly that. Low between H and O, then try to get the bomber dropped between Y and W. I pushed to explode it right before it would have hit the ground. I initially increased my score to 86k, then surprisingly set a new high.

@emider Thanks for the two bird strategy. Great description and worked well.
On the second bird a high arc worked as well as a low arc. The high arc was hard to line up because of the dark background but the red eye brows of the bird can provide a gauging distance from the Y in the sling.

This worked really well. Still, I was quite surprised to wind up fourth on this level! I find that releasing the egg closer to the center of the H than to the gap tended to get me a few more points. The tip to detonate the black bird just before it hits the ground is also essential.

91380/2 with that as follows:
1st) in the variariation described by @jrsquonk below;
2nd) onto the right corner of the small block in the middle of the Y. instead of falling straight down into the gap left of the W, it should do so by rolling right then left while going down, exploding low but before hitting the ground while being enclosed by wood. the idea was that being enclosed would make the explosion more effective.
don’t know whether that really explains the mechanics well, or whether it was just luck, but quickly (< 10 minutes) went up with it from 90k- to first 90k+ and then 91k with which i'm happy (using the background allows me to get consistency in the shots and get them right, say, 1 in 5-10 in both cases; not easy but not too difficult either).

“variation” that should have been (“variariation” does have a ring to it though).

I also stumbled on this variariation ( it does have aring to it @vuelva ) first thing thismorning before i had put my glasses on ,getting the roll on effect quite often ,usually stopping in the middle of Hollywood ,y,yes thats right,and the second shot was as most mention ,to the left of the W exploding just before impacting the deck .Ofcourse now i feel compelled to go through all levels with impaired vision :) Good luck all

would be interesting to determine whether there’s some causality to that (that could be the case; e.g. some levels are easier to play at lower resolution) or whether it was just luck.

trying a bit more, the day after, was now able to improve quickly to 92810 by the same two shots: the 2nd cracked the small block, rolled to the right, and i detonated it upon killing the pig, which this time caused a lucky roll of debris to the right off the ramp into destruction. it’s top score for now, but had been unlucky yesterday with runs that were similar where the rolling debris just missed the rightmost pig getting 68k+ destruction several times and even 69.5k once, so 94k or even 95k should be reachable.

I used the same lob the yellow bird into the vertical stone s the rat in so but I put the bomb bird into the main structure just under the horizontal stone board and the explosion took out all the birds with a 3 star total of 101,450… just thought it might help…. happy lobbing ;-)

Instead of first blowing up the pig inside the O, I got the pig inside the H first then launched my black bird into the W as described in the above walkthrough and finished off the pig inside the O with a white bird.

Lob the first bird in on a very low trajectory. If you place the drop just right, the white bird will not spring up after taking out the two left piggies. Rather, it will roll along the top of the letters accumulating more damage points. Then take the second bird and high arc it into the sweet spot on the ground between the Y and the W. I note that one person above detonated the bomb before it hit the ground and it increased his total. I haven’t tried that one yet.

Usually one scores 15-16K with the first lob. After accidentally getting my first roller, which went all the way to the double Os, I had over 19K. Since that time, I was able to get it to roll one more time, but it is an incredibly difficult shot. I suspect that if someone out there is OCD enough to perfect this technique, they will get a high score out of it.

@jrsquonk

This happens when you drop the egg when grazing above the upper part of the “H”. Then, at the very begining of its ascending trajectory, Mathilda hits the upper left part of the “O”, is almost stopped, then rolls to the right. Finding the correct trajectory is easy, but drop timing is indeed difficult.

In some occasions also, the birds rolls till the “Y”, breaks its upper right part, falls and kill the small pig below for 23k. However, I did not manage to perform an efficient second shot in this case (or yours), so I cannot tell if it helps.

I love the white bird, it’s my favorite despite my avitar…. if you are having trouble with getting the roll to work, remember you just want to nick the corner of the wood. I find it helpful to forget about the pigs just concentrate on the release point. You want to have a bit of a gap usually to give time for the white bird to start flying up before SMASH!-ing into the wall.

All that is probably unnecessary to say, just practice i guess….try aiming even a bit lower then you were and releasing a little bit sooner. Thats just an idea. Good luck!
