Angry Birds Danger Above 3 Star Walkthrough Level 6-7

Our strategy for Danger Above level 6-7 is to loft the first Boomerang bird over the structure, spinning it back through the horizontal wooden blocks in the bottom-right. With good precision, you can pop both pigs on the right. Then fire the next Boomerang bird downward through the same wooden blocks, but in the bottom-left. If necessary, clean up with a Yellow bird. The score in the video below is 121,040.

Another way:
1. Aim the first boomerang bird at horizontal wood planks (the ones the second bird in the above video hit). This should collpase at least the left half of structure.
2. Aim the second bird at the remaining structure.

The need to use the boomerang effect is negated here. I worked my way from left to right instead of right to left in the video.

I don’t like the boomerang bird at all, so when I can, I don’t use his ability. So I used the same strat and got 130980!

The usual :) Here’s the video

Hi @e-star, I’m taking the opportunity to revisit some of the levels on DA since 6-12 is on today’s challenge, and as usual am up in the crow’s nest with telescope in hand looking for your lifesaving videos, thank you for this one.

@redsnivy Thank you for the alternate strategy and great description. I tried both sides with the first bird and your technique seemed to yeild the most points in the 40k range.
E-stars video shows the importance of the getting the extra points with the debris destruction on the far right side. Increased the score 2k.

I also went for direct hits rather than boomerang shots. Go for a first shot in the 44,000 to 44,500 range. A well placed second shot usually gets scores in the 124,000 to 126,000 rnage, but occasionally and unpredicatbly higher.

Did same way. After 3 days finally managed to get a high score. From 220 to 9.
Now I will try to improve my 6-11 which I hate.
My 134260 I had 4 pcs of wood left and none of the concrete blocks.

Love the straight-ahead approach instead of having to reverse the boomer. On the 2nd shot I seemed to get a better collapse if the bird goes through the horizontal wood planks then destroys the hollow wooden block, the 2nd one up from the ground. The right-hand stone plank has to break fairly early to help destroy the wood on the far right, it tends to pile up otherwise.
Thanks @redsnivy for the idea & @e-star for the great video.

A one birder is possible on this level, but given how long you might have to wait and how slowly the wood falls, two birds might score higher and will be quicker.

On starting, after the first jolt when the birds/screen bounce I noticed some very slow movement which shows as daylight between the lower horizontal planks (left and right wooden ones next to the horizontal concrete), and the two helmeted piggies sometimes start to roll.

Wasting yet another half hour of my life I kept resetting and waited about 20-30 seconds each time to see what happened.

When it did start to move, most of the time is went so far, then stopped, but on three occasions now, the right side has, very, very slowly collapsed. It starts with the horizontal plank on the right, which supports the corner of the topmost cube and the wooden wedge, and causes a slow chain reaction.

Each time I have been left with the helmeted pig and the two pigs underneath him (left side) without firing any birdies.

Then one boomerang bird (which I also dislike E-Star), fired head on, which takes out the rest. I was left with some full wooden planks each time, hence my score.

@dg123 — Do you by any chance know what the score is after partial collapse? I added this to the forum on self-destroying and unstable levels.

Tried it again and it went twice, first it stopped after the top most piggy fell taking some wood but not causing any further damage to the ones below and scored 25430, then second time, the right side (very, very) slowly collapsed taking out all but the three pigs on the left side. Score for this was 50320. Honestly it was like pulling teeth… seemed to last for ages.

I know how you feel @justpast40 – I flung so many times yesterday and just could not get the wood stack on the far right to fall in a way that they would break. Then just once it happened for 134K. I didn’t do anything differently so either there is a very specific sweet spot, or it’s just “luck of the draw”. I’ll give it a last desperate try before the challenge ends, but not raising my hopes too high lol!!
