Consistent scores of 110+K are possible by sending Blues into the glass blocks and exploding the TNT. Done right this will clear out all piggies except the one underneath the giraffe. The best way to get him is to send YB into he TNT.

The first shot is tricky. The force of the explosion has to knock over the tree into the glass supporting the first lion. If this collapses, the chain reaction may also take out the second lion and give access to the other TNT. I found that sending Blues downward to the left edge of the trough worked best as most of the explosion was directed upwards and to the right.

@mvnla2 Haven’t gotten above 98%, but the way I did that was:

Blues to the left side of the ice blocks and TNT. Any that are blasted into the air need to go to the right. The next tree structure needs to fall to the right and be destroyed, and also collapse the glass holding up the structure to its right.

Chuck around the hollow wood block in the Giraffe. Needs to take out some of the rear wood pieces, and the dangling piece needs to fall.

2nd Blue to collapse the ice in the far right structure.
2nd Chuck to any remaining wood at far right.

Sardine can to the upper left of the remaining stone rubble pile.

@Kelani — Thanks! I tried following @birdmeister‘s strat for 3* to get the feather, but could never get the first shot to destroy that much. I switched back to the video strat, and managed to get 99% (once). Are the @admins working on walkthroughs for feathers? Has anyone gotten it?

Dear mates, I finally got the feather.
1. into the front TNT like described many times
2. into the “chest” meens square wood piece of that “giraffe” or whatever it looks like.
3. into the middle ice opening possible shot into TNT
4. into that TNT

At this stage you should have cleard almost everthing except debris in the middle area.

5. sardine can BACKWORDS far into no mans land.
The mighty eagle can then clean up debris located in the middle area.

GOOD LUCK, this is by far the toughest feather in the game!
I am out of here……

After trying many different strategies, this is what best worked for me (and after several attempts got me the 100%):

– first: bluebird high arc and split to get the glass in the “giraffe’s leg”;
– second: chuck almost horizontal and speed up into the stone blocks at the base of the “tree”. The idea here is to get the tree to fall towards the “glass pool”;
– third: bluebird into the “glass pool” detonating the TNT and blowing everything (remains of the tree included) towards the right;
– fourth: chuck towards the back, to try to clear as much as possible of the wooden reamins of the “giraffe”;
– finally: sardine can into the hole covered by the glasses supporting the “pride rock” (the stones with the lions and the TNT inside).

Hope this helps…
¡Good luck!

After many many attempts to earn the feather on this level, I decided to try the solution from previous comments. Got plenty of points but still no feather. So on a fluke I zinged the sardine can in the opposite direction behind the stand and after a few tries, it worked. I got my feather!

This was probably the most difficult of this release; it was the last one I had to 3* & that was just barely … 105860. Now that I’m back to improve, it’s proving just as difficult.

1st shot low to ice & split when almost there left just 2 pigs, the one by the giraffe’s legs & the one just to the left of the TNT. If the little stone ball atop the tree didn’t fall jus so into the 2 pieces of glass to the right of the tree, the structure didn’t collapse for me.

It seems I often had these 2 remaining pigs to deal with. It wasn’t exactly a clear shot to the TNT. As so often (almost always) happens, the stone plank fell at an angle with just about enough space for YB to fly thru. I zoomed out & launched for the who knows how many times & connected with the TNT closing the level for 114260.

I’m guessing this is the video method, but my internet provider’s abysmal connection strength & speed doesn’t allow me to view videos & the ABN text to accompany video has yet to be posted.

122060/3. i was playing a strategy similarly to the one of the video but a bit differently:
1st) high arc splitting immediately (upon release) such that the leftmost bird lands just left of the tnt, the middle bird clips the right side of the tree, and the rightmost bird bounces off the stone slabs to the right. the main goal is that the tree falls to the left into the pit (it’s ok if that sets off the tnt i guess, although it never happened to me; but it’s not ok if the tnt explodes due to the bird immediately, before the tree has fallen down). secondary goals are that the giraffe collapses/falls down and that the middle bird bounces off the branch through the glass;
2nd) accelerate immediately straight towards the tnt in the pit (often the small stone of the top of the tree is blocking direct access, making the shot a bit tricky) and hope for debris raining down and gathering a lot of points.

had gone quickly up from 115k to 116k and then 117k with this, when, de repente, the falling debris of the 2nd set off the tnt for excellent destruction (for a score of something like 97k; don’t recall exactly). unfortunately the left two pigs (in disguise) of the middle structure were still alive, but fortunately it was very easy to take them out with the 3rd.

130k scores feasible with this, with luck (but i was playing the 1st bird like this to force it; the point is that if the tree is still standing when the tnt explodes, it blocks the flying debris from the bit whereas after it has fallen down, not only will it become flying debris itself, but more importantly the small stones in the pit can be ejected and may inflict damage such as setting off the tnt or taking out lots of the giraffe).

@vuelva . thanks much for the Idea to go vertical. I’m not doing it exactly as yours. I’m aiming up and very slightly to the right splitting on the way up after about a second, the goal being to set off the TNT and also break the glass while bringing down the tree. it seems to cause more consistent damage and just leaves the two birds on the right.

I kept on returning to this method, tantalized by the high scores posted here. For some reason I can’t figure out, I starting having better success with it the last time in, getting a few scores over 120K. However, I wasn’t expecting to improve my PB over 10K, to over 134K. It was a one-birder using @vuelva‘s first shot. For some reason, I got a LOT more destruction.

The heck of it is, there is a lot more to be had here. This score represents 104K in destruction points. I’ve gotten as much as 116K in destruction with lots more debris laying about. I’ll enjoy this score for now, but somebody (probably several somebodies) is going to beat me. I think 140K+ is possible.

Thanks @vuelva! Keep flinging and carry on.

For the life of me, I can’t remember what I did to get 123K on this level. All the methods described above just don’t work for me…I’m lucky to get over 110K using them.

However, I have discovered a strat that has gotten me close to 120K so far, and I think it has promise. I makes for a good 3-star strat, if nothing else.

Fully zoomed in, touch blue’s beak to the wide vertical line just to the left of the sling. This puts him at about the 7 o’clock position. Launch. Split on the way down right about the time that blue passes through the second heavy horizontal line above the sling.

If everything goes well, the leftmost bird will hit the TNT in the glass pile. The rightmost bird will either shatter the glass at the entrance of the cave, or debris from the falling tree will knock it out. In the end, only the rightmost piggie will be left, and you will have a clear path for Chuck to take out the TNT on the right. Doing so will take out the last piggie and the giraffe as well. With a lot of luck, destruction may take you above 120K.

Of course, usually everything does not go well. However, this scenario set up fairly often for me…maybe once every 5-10 flings.

@steviep147 don’t understand what you really mean by `really got a screen shot’, but searching on my ipad i found screenshots (final destruction and score) of my 127k score (with 2 birds as described in my earlier comment; so 137k/1 possible). at the time i decided not to upload them since they wouldn’t add anything to the earlier comment. reading back the comment and looking at those screenshots, i still don’t think uploading would add anything, as the comment describes clearly and concisely the shot(s) and the ensuing mechanics. this is confirmed by the strat having been replicated by others, for even higher scores, without any extra details (which also keeps me from replaying it; job done). keep at it, and you may get lucky too.

ok. as this is (in part) a game of statistics, i usually include my `success rates’ in my comments, to help others, but in the case of this level i got lucky only twice (for 122k/3 and 127k/2), in something like three hours of flinging in total, so hard to extrapolate based on that.

I have had just two “one-birders” in a relatively short time but they only yielded low scores, 106 and 107k. The right TNT didn’t ignite on either.

I’ve been experimenting with the high lob and waiting until the bird reaches the top of the arc before splitting. The object is to not actually to set off the TNT but rather to damage it enough so that the tree falls left into the pit and then it explodes. This is difficult. However the debris from this method is sufficient to have a very good chance of exploding the right TNT and giving a one bird solution with a high score. I’ve been very close!
