Current high score. Trying to replicate video — much higher damage.

White bird to right dropping egg, so it slams up into platform dropping TNT. Big Red to sweep the top. I had everything come down. 123k

First shot higher, dropping the bomb on the stone planks. This opens the door to drop the TNT. Like the video, Terrence through the glass to finish it off. 119050

I think a 1-birder might be possible with this. I send white bird low over the planks so after dropping the the egg, she bounces off the big rock back onto the spaceship, doing more damage. Once, she darn near toppled the whole shebang.

@bonneypattycat and @dmsral this method has been effective for me than starting from below. I still have a ways to go to catch up to though.

Thanks!

I’ ve had three one-birders so far, with the best of them a 119k. Have broken 120k using two birds three or four times.

@bonneypattycat, I kept trying and finally got the one-birder that you described. The debris initially clogged the opening but it slowly worked its way through for nearly complete destruction. I thought it was possible too but would have given up trying if other Nesters had not commented on the potential.

Nice score @jwgardenwiz!

I gave up trying for the 1-birder on top myself. I got my 123k score with two birds fairly easy as described below by To Mock A Mockingbird.

I had a one birder for 116K, but got a better result with 2 birds 118K. You need really good destruction after the first shot about 60K. I find the second shot rather difficult, often the small pig in the ice cube survives.

Bonney I just got your one birder! Excited I tried to take a picture on my phone, messed up and lost the whole thing, score and all. I don’t think it was higher than my present score thankfully but I’m not absolutely sure. So yes it’s possible. Keep on trucking!

Forgot to say. Higher than you said and egg into the small cube. Bounced off ceiling and the rest fell. Been doing it for some time and was watching tv when it all happened which explains my c??p photo skills.

124430/2 by the video method, or a minor variation, by concentrating on breaking the horizontal stone slab to the left of the tnt (i do this by sending the bird quite close to the platform; just out of habit, other ways probably work as well). this causes that only two layers of stone remain on top which allows you to send the 2nd just over the left one such, such that it slices through the glass and takes out the bottom right one, causing the main structures to fall down for a score in the 120k-125k range. very repeatable (every few attempts; have scored 124k+ five times) but not much more in it with this with 2 birds as the triangular stones remain untouched (once one of them was dragged along to the left but the structure didn’t fall down; 1-birder should be possible though i think when the tnt explodes (quite frequent; but rather unpredictable); hadn’t thought of the approach from above, so haven’t tried that yet).

Exactly the same method than @vuelva.
I reached 125’020 with 2 birds.
I also reached 126k and twice 124k with 1 bird. The problem with using 1bird is that the tnt ejects the remaining above pieces everywhere on the pencils, this is why you can’t reach 135k in my opinion..

Breaking the stone slab is the key to 124K+ scores. Thanks for the tip @vuelva.

Finally got my 1-birder for 125K. I think I was using @vuelva‘s strat, but I never could figure out which horizontal slab he was referring to, so I will redescribe it here. If this was indeed what vuelva was getting at, then thanks again!

There is a recess between the brown indestructible support and the bomb bay door. Launch Matilda, bomb the left speeder and time it so that Matilda goes into that recess. This is a difficult shot, but once you get the hang of it, you should get it every 5-10 times or so. Usually Matilda will just crack the long horizontal beam that forms the roof of the recess. Other times she will break it and the ship will sag a bit. Rarely the whole ship will break and the bow will fall, leaving one piggie in the hollow cube in the stern. Often Darth in the right speeder survives too. Very rarely (only once for me), you will get the one birder where everything falls down, and Darth meets his demise to boot.

@jrsquonk :yes, that’s what i meant; sorry for the vague description. i see you’re working your way through the BirdDay 5 levels and doing very well. good luck.

I’ve been working this level using the above strat for a while. Only got one more one-birder, but that was only worth 120K. It was an unusual one where the TNT went off while it was still in the bomb bay.

I’ve managed to top 125K with a 2-birder and I have gotten upwards of 108K in damage alone. I think there is around 110K in damage available here. All this indicates that scores of 130-135K are possible, so I believe this is one of those levels that hasn’t been fully exploited yet.

Rank: Avian Overlord with 18055 points
By jrsquonk (@jrsquonk)Score: 131,300

Not a typo…I really got 131.3K on this level with the strat described above. It was quite a thrill when that number came up! Consider this level a bit more exploited, but higher scores are still possible.

Rank: Avian Overlord with 18055 points

Damage update. I just got 109960 in damage alone after 4 birds. All that was left was the 3 pieces on the far right…the two small stone squares and the glass piece in between them. So….111.5K is about the upper limit for damage, making 141.5K theoretically possible.

I had been trying to get the two-bird method to work, but I couldn’t get more than 122,220 points, even after hundreds of attempts.

Then I saw the photo posted by @skowse. I went back to looking for the one-birder.

My second one-birder gave me my new high score. I was able to get a screenshot showing the trajectory, destruction, and debris;
