Our strategy for Big Setup level 10-3 is to fire the first Big Brother slightly downward through the left side of the bridge. Launch the next Big Brother into the two pigs in the bottom-right of the trough. This second shot is a bit challenging, but earns higher scores. The score in the video below is 75,820.

very challenging level…made more challenging in that i am trying to aim on a tiny phone whilst my wife thrashes around in her sleep behind me. real life birdquake perhaps?

Somehow never could get the 2 birder to work, but managed to eke my way above average with 3 birds. So there is still room to improve.

Used the two bird methods shown above. If one can obtain 40k with the first BB on the left side chances of getting in the 80k range are enhanced. Gained 4k+.
I also used 3 birds, one on the left side and two on the right side if the “wedge” effect occurs with the wood planks above the middle post. Produced scores in the low 80s.

Same technique as in AMslimfordy & E-star’s videos. Used 2 birds, scored nearly 45,000 on left side. Second BB just barely cleared center support & took out all but 1 ice block under 2 helmeted pigs.

same here. had 67+ after first bird. i think the extra pts came from taking out the woodwork on the far left. Thanks for the vids guys/girls!

Same as first tactic but the second bird i lobbed into the right piggies because the first bird caused the planks to fall horizontally above the two pigs… Caused a bit more damage.

was playing this (the 1st) a bit differently.
1st) onto tip of first horizontal of the `bridge’, where it rests on the cliff, so that the bird slides/is catapulted to the right (almost horizontally). repeat until you get a good collapse on the left (typically for a 54k+ score with two pigs left, but there’s a lot of variation; in any case, not infrequent).
2nd) barely clearing the center support, just as in the video(s) above.

i found this to be quite repeatable (scores into the high 80k’s every few minutes, 90k+ scores every twenty minutes or so), but also that for that both shots must be pretty much pixel precise. playing on ipad2 for me it works to look at the number of steps/pixels the sling slopes (fully zoomed in):
1st) 1 pixel/step inside the fork of the slope stand, and 1 pixel/step to its left;
2nd) 3 pixels/steps to the left of the fork.

the reason for me to switch to this strategy was that i thought it made it a bit easier to get a good collapse with the 2nd, while one can still get a good destruction of the left part with the 1st, although maybe less frequently. total scores shouldn’t be too different. my currently best score of 92.5k was obtained after 56k with the 1st with 2 pigs still alive. the collapse on the right after the 2nd was very good but not optimal; the top-right part of the `bridge’ fell to the left and was destroyed but the bird didn’t take out everything in the `river’.

Not too difficult really. Do it like the demo video and keep at it! I found that if the first bird scored @44k then there is a good chance of getting 80k +. Whilst trying to improve my score I was rather fortunate in that my first bird caused more damage than usual and resulted in 90k. Here are some pics showing the damage caused by birds one and two. 2-Birds 95K

1st bird to the angle to bounce-push all “bridge” stuff. 61k As always the middle-right pig survives. Unintentional fling send 2nd bird to the top of right colum/pillar, then bounced twice (wall + column corner near pig) and that speed Terence, that clear all the middle-right stuff. Pure luck.

Cannot see how could be possible the actual top-score… 97K must be PU.

TIP: If you hit the top of any big helmet precisely, bird will gain speed and range. Seems to works only if bird didn’t hit anything yet.

Until this morning,I believed the current high score,held by Anpo, was not possible. Then, after playing for a little over an hour, I had a strange occurrence. As I reset the game, the right side of the bridge exploded ,taking out nearly everything beyond the center support. Then, I used 2 of the big red birds, Terrence’s, to take out the remainder of the bridge. This gave me a score of 98,110. Since the only way I can post an image to ABN is to send a pic to my email account & then upload to my album on my pc, I decided to continue playing the Challenge.
A few minutes later I got a pop-up in the middle of the screen giving me 10 “shockwave” birds. I didn’t know if using these birds would count as a power up, so I sent them off screen, hoping to get rid of his icon. It didn’t work, even though I keep the power ups on my tablet turned off.
I’ve had the bridge explode a total of 2 times so far, but can’t beat my earlier score.

Because of these two things, the exploding bridge & the Shockwave bird icon on my screen, I don’t think it is fair to post my score on today’s Challenge. I just wanted everyone to know about this possible glitch.

@meanguy Try toggling Power Ups on-then-off-again. That should gray out the Shockwave PU. It will still appear but shouldn’t be tap-able.

@mvnla2– I really wouldn’t call it a collapse. Both times it happened this morning right as the level reset. I hit the reset button, the image appeared on screen, & then the right half went to pieces, with only a couple of pieces of wood falling down where the two pigs were. It’s almost as if the two hardhat wearing pigs blew up. I then used 2 Terrences to empty the left side under the bridge & on the far right side wood that remained. It got me over 98,000 points. That seems impossibly high, which is why I wrote about it, and why I am not claiming top score. Since I can’t compete on my tablet- no way to remove that too high score- I’ll see if it happens on my PC, & try to get a screenshot of it.
I’ve had similar destruction in other AB games, most notably Haunted Hogs.

@meanguy — I would be interested to know if you have seen other self-destruction on levels that are not already on the list in the forum (link in my post below).
I don’t know what a Thrive tablet is. Is it a type of Android or ???
There have been some unusual glitches, noticeably the Santa Hat Glitch (exploding Santa Hats), and the exploding raft, not to mention the exploding Dolphins in Rio High Dive. I think all have been fixed.

Just looked up Thrive, and it is Android. It’s interesting that the exploding Dolphins only occurred on Androids.

@mvnla2– I started playing AB after the Santa Hat Glitch had been fixed, and haven’t seen any exploding Dolphins, so far. Nor have I encountered an exploding raft. What I do remember is Haunted Hogs, level 1-1 ( I have the current high score). Several times, just as the orange bird hit the back wall, opposite the opening, the structure would go to pieces before the bird was inflated. However, the lower left pig & structure remained, which meant I had to reset. The high score was achieved using one bird.
If I remember, or encounter, any others, I’ll be sure to let you know.

@Meanguy — Thanks! Can you still get the self-destruction on HH 1-1? Would like to know number of points and frequency. I guess the real question is whether this ever happens without flinging a bird.

@mvnla2– I spent some time this morning playing HH 1-1 on both my PC & on my tablet.I never did have the problem on the PC. After an hour,it did not self-destruct once on the tablet.I do remember that when it did happen,it was always just as the OB hit the wall opposite the opening,but BEFORE inflating the OB.This seemed to occur about 2 to 3 times per 100 resets,and usually resulted in between 60,000 & 70,000 points.A second bird then became necessary to get the lower left structure & pig.My high score was achieved using one bird for near total destruction.I never saw it happen without a bird being used.

Strange afternoon. I increased by 10k this morning, up to 88k and now second Terrance won’t kill anything. I’m getting 40k plus with first bird but second is barely squashing 1 pig and stopping at around 56k points. Same thing I’ve been doing on and off all day that got me into top 50. Now all of a sudden I’m barely getting level cleared with three birds. So strange!

@maiasatara When that happens to me, I completely close and restart the game. Sometimes AB games slip into can’t-win mode. Like, on Space Danger Zone 22 there’s a collapse that plays out identically and gives an identical score every time. Once it occurs, no matter how many times you try the shot, you’ll get the exact same outcome & score.

Funny tip

To “reset” locked level that keep you in a endless and fixed playing:
– Get out of that level and load any other. Restart that 2-3 times. Reload 1st level again.
– If that not work: Get out of the app.
– If that not work: Clear cache
– If that not work: Log out
– If that not work: Wait a full day.

Some level get locked when you reload them many times without let the level to end. Severity of the issue seem to depend on how many times you reload it that way.

Thanks @amslimfordy. The icon did gray out. But I still can’t figure out the right side of the bridge exploding just after resetting. This has only happened on my Thrive tablet,and,when combined with two Terrence’s, has given me 98,110 points, which I don’t think I should enter in the Challenge. Because of this, I am now playing the Challenge on my PC, trying to better my previous high of 93,540.

I’ve end 1st, being the only one that passed the target score to beat.

2nd on Challenge but 8th on general leaderboard was @crivit with 91330.
