If you play Angry Birds Free on iOS there is a new update available. Angry Birds Free version 1.2.0 includes three NEW (unique) levels from the Ham ‘Em High theme. We have 3 star walkthroughs available for each level and the leaderboard is ready for your scores. For achievement seekers, there is one new achievement available that is obtained by 3 starring each level of VI.

What is the point of releasing new unique levels in the free version? Why not release them for the full paid version as well?
A few reasons: 1. Not everyone has the full version. 2 The amount of levels in the full version needs to stay consistent. 3. It shows they care about all users, not just those who pay for their app. Personally, I dig new levels regardless of which version they’re in. Nothing wrong with a few freebies. I’d rather have new levels then recycled ones any day.
You have a point. I just dont’ want a 4th AB on my iPhone…unless it’s a totally new game (which I would get in a heartbeat like most ppl).
Level 2 – 45,000 is enough for three stars. Level 3 – 68,500 is enough for three stars.

The app specifically called “Angry Birds Free” is available for iOS and Android (only via the Amazon AppStore I believe)
Does anyone know if the supposed “special level” for samsung galaxy S owners is really a new level or just the unlocked golden egg level that is available for summer pignic?

Updates take time, especialy when updating three different apps.
Does the paid app have more levels than the free app? If they free app has more boards than I feel screwed for paying for the app.
Angry Birds Free (for iOS and Android via Amazon AppStore) has 6 episodes of 3 levels each. The paid version has 258 levels (+23 golden eggs) at last count.
Oh yeah, as of writing, Angry Birds Free has 18 levels. The full version of Angry Birds — which still costs $0.99 — currently has 258 levels plus 23 Golden Egg levels. That means each level costs you $0.0038 cents. :)
Ohhhh I thought it was the ad free verision you were talking about at first. If that got three more levels I did get I would be mad.
I’m confused… I have the free version for android (has ads) but I have all of the regular levels. Or is this different for iOS then it is for android?
“Angry Birds Free” is a completely separate app, available for iOS and Android via the Amazon Appstore. The Android Market app is the ad-supported full version. You can, however, purchase the ad-free version via Amazon.

I have Angry Birds Free for Symbian. Is this never coming to my phone, and if it is, how can I update it, when there is no update-button?
Sorry, we don’t have a lot of insight as to when Symbian will get another update or how that update process works.
It’s been quite a wait, but it looks like we’ll be getting new levels in ABo Free! New achievement and leader board have landed in GameCentre!

Also, slim, when you complete the last level of world VI, you get the video about purchasing the full app, I don’t recognise the last level in the video. Is it a current level that I just don’t remember?

So it is, I had no recollection of that! Still it’s gone midnight here, and it’s very slighly different in the video clip (doesn’t have the wooden support for the rocket) No real excuse though, maybe I should get some sleep!
