After their 2nd annual Freddy for a Day celebration, Rovio is mixing things up with some old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll! This week’s Angry Birds Friends Tournament theme is called “Rock in Rio” — a tribute to the largest music festival in the world. The gameplay mixes different elements from different games — both Facebook and mobile. The level selection screen and balloons seem to be pulled from Angry Birds Rio, while a lot of the drums and sound equipment have the feel of the old “Green Day” episode in Angry Birds Friends.
