Angry Birds Space Eagle Walkthrough Cold Cuts Level 2-8

Here is our Space Eagle Total Destruction video walkthrough for Angry Birds Space Cold Cuts level 2-8. Fire a Black bird to bomb the bottom of the structure on the southern hemisphere. Be sure to clear the two pigs in the tree on the east side. Launch the sardine can and trigger the wormhole between the two structures on the northern side of the planet. If you have an alternate strategy please feel free to leave a detailed comment below.

Hi AMslimfordy,
Need some assistance. I am not sure what this sentence refers to in the description above, “Fire a Black bird to bomb the power in the structure on the southern hemisphere”. I cannot find the “power in the structure” item in the structure.

This one has also the hardest SE feather to obtain that I have found for the first ten levels of Cold Cuts. I am able to destroy all the big items, building, pigs, trees, crystal item in shrubs. But it appears the feather depends also on the snowflake, triangle ice cubes, ice cubes, wood, greens, etc.

The best to date is a 97%. It seems I cannot get the explosive power that is demstrated in the video.

Take the first shot with the red bird, I can get the pigs, trees and structure but the snow flake and triangles and a number of blocks remain. I changed the shot to slide across the ice first then hit the bottom structure. Seemed to work a little better.

It appears the number of blocks, shrubs and ice items figure into the final calculation.

Will keep trying, this one is going to take some time to “thaw”, Ok I know, just trying to keep it on the light side.

My apologies. I type too quickly sometimes. I think it should say “bomb the bottom of the structure” — I’m honestly not sure what I was going for, but that matches my video I suppose.

Hi AMslimfordy,

Thank you for the update. This is the only typo I found and there no need for apologies. I make at least one typo in every note. You guys are good.

Need your advice.
In the past AB games I usually obtain the 3 stars, then the ME, then the Achievements that remained.

In Cold Cuts tried something a little different. Obtained 28 SE first before the 3 stars.
In Pig Bang, obtained the stars then 30 SE feathers.

The Achievements for the 50 feathers has not activated.
Is there an explanation?
Did I do some incorrectly?

Nah, nothing incorrect. Check out the bug list and that’s one of ’em.

Great, you always have the answer, Thanks.

I forgot to add that the 1-feather Achievement actually did work.

This level did present a challange.

A few lessons learned:
1. Remaining debris is a factor
2. Natural activation worked better on the 1st redbird than manual activation – have to push the blocks rather than blow them up
3. Space Eagle-can landed lower towards the ice structure produced better results
4. The mushroom and trees have to go away
5. Most of the blocks have to go away but it appears two ice triangles can remain
6. Extra SE or regular birds did not help

Had to step away from this level for a day and get back to it. Maybe that is the real lesson learned.

Hi AMslimfordy,

Questions on “Rate our Guide” button under the video.

1. I noticed that when some other person clicked 3 stars and I try to click 5 stars it only increases a 1/2 of star. Why does it not permit the 5 stars. This happened in Danger Zone with the Space Eagles on a couple of screens.

2. What is this rating about?

3. Are the results for public viewing?

It always displays the current average.
