The “Hogwatch” is on! The Bad Piggies are coming, but what exactly are they up to? On the recently revamped BadPiggies.com Rovio has dropped 26 new teaser videos, which they’re calling, “Hogwatch”. You can view these clips in a few ways. The most obvious way is to head to BadPiggies.com where they will play in a seemingly random order. After one finishes, another begins. Rinse-and-repeat. If you like a bit more structure, we have compiled the full list below. We obviously can’t embed all 26 videos without creating a very porky page (zing!), so we have the direct links and some generic details.
So what is going on here? Are the piggies revealing their plans? Are these crazy pigs planning on building a biplane spaceship powered by a single stroke engine before absconding with all the birds’ eggs? Time will tell I guess!

Wow. This is gonna be awesome. i can’t wait to see planes and vechiles in the game.
they are making this sound like what happened when ABO came out, must be very big! win8? yay!
So in the game, they will probably use biplanes, jets, gasoline, spaceships, shopping carts (or just wheels), hang gliders, balloons, and wood in order to get of the island and to eggs!
Sound like an Angry Birds version of Garry’s mod :)
how strange. these videos are weird. oh well, i’ll be on hogwatch.
They seem to make references to the pigs and potential gameplay in a rather obscure manner.
With that teaser, we know that Bad Piggies game are better than Amazing Alex. Even with similar gameplay
Would it be possible for BP updates to be precursors to each new AB update. BP pigs steal eggs and take them somewhere, AB save the eggs from the new place they’ve taken them?
Some comments:
1) Bears strong resemblance to smugglers’ plane in ABR.
2) Hang-glider is in Rio
9) This must be the guy they hired as a building instructor.
14) This doesn’t look like a professional bricklayer to me???
26) Mentions many of the famous names from aviation history.
The videos of the engines all seem to be technology from the early 20th century. Doesn’t bode well for the pigs.
They are learning how to fly!

I watched all these Short Clips but what is waiting for us. I’m curious!! :-)
Now I am sure it is the same gameplay as Amazing Alex! But I think it wil be much better! Hope the Pigs learn how fly! Can’t wait for it!

This gives a clue to what this might be about. Bad Piggies could be a launch game, like Toss the Turtle. All of thsi stuff about palnes could aid the pigs on the way to the eggs! This means that they may be taking the slingshot for themsleves!
That… makes sense.
Especially considering that the website’s tagline is “Are you ready for takeoff?”
I get the same impression that a new game may be coming with a theme of aviation. It would be interesting if the pigs fly as mentioned. But it also makes one wonder if it might be a game with a retro theme of the flying machines of the past. There is also a science/chemistry theme being presented. Now the anticipation and excitement of waiting…
New info: At the end of the comic on the site, its says that the young pig will be launched straight into the air. Either it is a launch game, or it will be a dodging game (like Jetpack Joyride).

@Angryperson — Thanks! I guess I was looking at wrong place. However, I don’t see anything on the left of the screen? There are 2 “carts” made of triangles and wheels on the right; one of them has TNT on it. Typical piggy bad construction; a 2-wheeled cart is inherently unstable — should fall over any second and blow TNT. I only see one freckled pig — the one at top center. Do you see something different?

@Nes Boy — Great find! (If you join ABN, you will get notifications that mention you.) I think we may need this video to do well in Bad Piggies, and I was worried that they would delete the Hogwatch vids. Guess I was right about the vids of the engines being from the early 20th century.
Someone mentioned it before but the new flying pig has freckles. I think this Pig is different than the rest.

@lostgreybird — I agree! The freckled pig is a kid who is smarter than the rest of the pigs, and wants to learn how to fly. I think the game will be about us helping him. Maybe using old (ancient?) technology, because it’s simpler?

I was thinking the freckled pig is King Pings son. This will give players a character to related to. Rather than playing as a bunch of random pigs.

And if you take a look a bit closer, the freckled pig are same as amazing alex (maybe both of them have freckles)

Hi slim: maybe you know; untill today it is not any update for AB or for AA. But on 9-19 Apple will release iOS 6. You thing so after that will come out any update!!!

This is not what you said, @1111dav10. You said we should write an article about iOS 6, but there is no reason for this. We aren’t an “Apple News” website. We’re an “Angry Birds News” site, or more generally, “Rovio News”. iOS 6 absolutely nothing to do with Angry Birds to our knowledge.
It does. It will involve if Angry birds will work. But I also meant to say, iPhone 5 and iPod 5 were announced, and its coming in yellow and red now.
Apple has said that older apps (i.e., those designed to run on the iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S 3.5-inch screen) will work identically on the iPhone 5. Apps will be centered and the extra screen space on the sides (88 pixels) will be greyed out.
Rovio does not typically announce when their updates will land.

Perhaps the freckled pig is behind the Bad Piggies’ technological development, we first saw in Angry Birds Space. Maybe this is the first step of that future. I mean, look at those videos, you can find one, which is about a space ship, or something.

interesting I think theres a new sequel 2 angry birds coming out i may get it idk wen it comes out ill c the ratings id check out the videos yet but i will they will probably b funny ill try 2 b on Hogwatch lml!!
