The first of those already exists – any battle with all pirate-type enemies are all immune to damage over time. And there’s one cave where at least one debuff can’t be removed. In the caves where your birds get stunned every few rounds, you can’t remove the stun effect via cleansing.
I’d say one major downside of the Priest class is that you have to spend almost every turn reestablishing links with your allies to keep the communal healing going. And if you’re fighting enemies with Dispel attacks, she’s nearly useless. Also lacks a cleanse effect (though that’s more of a reason why I prefer Princess than anything against Priest).
The Joker’s attack sounds a lot like Blues’ Rage ability. They even use cards (as an off-hand item). Only thing missing is the stun.
I came up with a good Rage for Bubbles:
For 3 turns, Bubbles goes solo. He inflates and gains 200% health and attack, but the other birds are pushed off the field until it wears off. His attack changes from…[Read more]
I doubt they’ll do a no-items cave. Items = cash for Rovio. There’s no way they’d discourage you from getting more of them. What they might do instead is make items (and possibly other healing) 50% effective so you have to use more of them.
I could see messing around with the party-structure – you only get 1 of your own birds plus 2 hirelings?…[Read more]
Well, make that 2 duplicates – the second was a weapon. Oh, and there was one time I got a set weapon (completing the candy set for Bomb) but the save game rolled back and I lost it. (To be fair, many of these are since the post about rolls on friends’ pigs being a guarantee if your rainbow bar is full.) I wouldn’t have thought anything of it…[Read more]
I’ve noticed something, not sure if others have had the same results. It seems the set weapons are much less likely to roll than the off-hand items. I currently have 10/15 of the off-hand set items, but only 3 of the weapons. (Technically 11/15, since I once rolled a duplicate and trashed it.) Come to think of it, this might apply to all…[Read more]
@killerkea – Actually, the dungeons can get up to 325 just on the loot wheel (which I do almost every time since I have enough Friendship Essence to reroll it), not counting any you get from enemies. And if you use Piggy McCool (which you can’t on King Pig’s Castle), you’ll get even more. Of course you only get one dungeon per day, so King Pig’s…[Read more]
Some good ideas there. I thought about the Boomerang for my Hal, but unfortunately, there’s already boomerangs under the Blues’ weapons. Likewise for Terence’s giant fist (which Bomb already has). Also the Bubble Wand I think is actually the exact name of one of Chuck’s weapons (which I used for a while). Maybe if we came up with another word…[Read more]
Okay, here are the rules. Pick any bird from the AB franchise except for the ones that are already in the game. (Also don’t pick birds from AB Star Wars or Rio, those belong to other franchises.) Choose their weapon and off-hand item types, their rage attack, and classes. Try to pick abilities which are balanced but different from those used…[Read more]
Yeah, I pointed out elsewhere that you’ll get ONE extra medal of whatever type you had for Mage. My Mage was Elite, so I have an extra Elite medal instead. But since you can’t go back to Veteran, it’s impossible to get two extra medals. (I assume if I’d had a Master Mage, I’d have an extra one of those instead.) Doesn’t really serve any…[Read more]
My map (linked earlier in this thread and also posted in the Walkthroughs on the site) has all this info and more, since you can see the entire loot wheel for each level.
As for getting the full map at that resolution, I don’t know how the original map on the site was created, but I can tell you how I did mine. I took dozens of screenshots of…[Read more]
Squeaky McGee replied to the topic How to make Piggy McCool give you the special offer for healing potions in the forum Angry Birds Epic Forum 8 months, 3 weeks ago
@junkmaniac – There have always been special offers for the Golden stuff, but they only occur at fixed times very early in the game. Specifically (and somewhat annoyingly), the two Golden Chili offers and the first Golden Cauldron offer seem to be designed to occur when it is impossible to have earned enough coins yet without paying cash for…[Read more]
@anirb – the 3x resources are on there. They’re the one with the glowing aura behind them, and they’re always at the top of the wheel, since I took the screens before spinning.
@t0panka – I’m on Android, can’t tell you anything about iOS. All I know is the little medal counter on the right will show one extra medal of the appropriate type when you upgrade the Mage to Archmage. As far as I know, the medals serve no purpose other than bragging rights. Oh, and the first medal you get of each type (Veteran/Elite/Master)…[Read more]
@thebirdstunna – From my experience on two phones, you can get ONE extra medal from the Archmage upgrade, but only based on the current level of your Mage class. So if you already have Veteran Mage, you’ll have an extra bronze medal, if you already have Elite Mage as I did, you’ll have an extra silver medal (but NOT the bronze), and presumably if…[Read more]
Oh, one other thing about the 3 hours. The timer starts when you visit the Dojo. If you wait 5 hours and visit, the timer starts again at 3 hours. For those 5 hours, it doesn’t change if you didn’t visit it. I will say that some of the upgrades I was looking for took forever to show up. My last Elite upgrade turned up about a week later than…[Read more]
@tomc – You can do that IF you haven’t already gotten the blueprint from that level. Which I have, so I can’t anymore.
For GP items, the number of stars is shown ONCE, when you first get it. After that you can never see it again, so unless you’ve got a great memory, it’s kind of difficult to figure out after the fact. And even then, they’re…[Read more]
@chiiyuen0109 – Unfortunately, when you find a better version of any given type of blueprint, it replaces the old one. Since I waited until I was already pretty far in the game before starting this, I missed out on a bunch. Only way to get them back is to start a whole new game – which is exactly what I’ve done on my old phone. The ones at the…[Read more]
