@ntns Arena is definitely not a live battle with opponent. It’s a fixed score  that you have to beat. This score has been ‘scored’ 5 minutes to hours before (new day, new rooms, new scores) and has been asigned to you by the algorithm. And the algorithm chooses for you the opponent with score or ratio (mentioned by @yue-zhang) rising each fight in streak.

The other ‘upgrade’ of Legendary League is the lottery whether you get to watch advertisement and get one free bird for it. After slinging my last bird today I didn’t get a chance for one free bird. But I get a chance to spend 60 gems right away.

And, similarly you hardly get to watch a video and get in exchange free arena ticket.

I think I know what triggers lowered prizes in Arena. For me it happened only when I let the game to stay in background, what eventually caused logout from Facebook account. After logging in 4 out of 4 times I have done this – the result was the same – lowered prizes (like in attached picture).

It’s simple why they would allow spells:

1) Each spell has a random effect, besides Mighty Eagle which destroys all pigs in a room. One time Golden Duck will destroy every pig and the other time it will not even scratch the same structures (that is why I am against spells in clan battle)

There is few things I notice playing last three months AB2 Arena:

– no matter what is your Flock Power – your opponent destructometer fills quicker than yours in relation to points earned by destroying structures

– I had game frozen after game 7 a couple of times (5 times out of 90 I’ve been to 7th opponent)
