New high score for G-25 :). Hint: Aim your red bird almost horizontal so it hits the big boulders at the top of the middle one. It’s pretty inconsistent because most of the time your bird will slow down a bunch and simply roll through to the opening but when hit correctly it seems to keep its speed and simply skid off the top of the middle boulder, going through the dangling box on a rope, and into the pig with the shovel glasses. The main reason to do it this way is to spread out the big boulders so when the stalactites begin to rain down each of the boulders gets destroyed, yielding more points! Enjoy.
Tried it & improved by 900pts. 4830 more pts to go…
Off topic here. Not sure I’m digging the rank icons in the comments. They’re fine when they’re space out, but when you see the same ones over and over again it becomes a little much. I’ll find another way.
I don’t think it’s much of a bother, unless it adds too much content to load initially..could make it so it only appears on the person that posts the original comment..
Maybe you could add the badges on our avatars (at the lower right point) pretty much like you embed avatars in the AB icons on the leaderboard pages.

What is the strategy for G-23? I’ve been stuck at the same low score forever….
Strategy was mentioned by me in an older post. First throw bird above the flag to hit glass structure. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a stone block below the glass structure start to vibrate. Wait awhile & depending on luck, the entire structure will collapse after prolonged spasms. Just use second bird to kill last pig on the train

Is the “trick” to simply repeat the level over and over (first shot nearly horizontal to about 9 o’clock) until you get a vibration explosion?
Today I have actually been shooting the first bird into the second pane of glass on the top left (the first piece above the vertical one). The “vibration” I have been looking for is the 2 horizontal cement pieces on each side of the 3 wooden squares, when they start to vibrate then I know an explosion might happen but sometimes it doesn’t. The key to a high score though, is how much damage the explosion causes and how creative you are with your second shot. I’ve gotten over 100k four or five times today but have screwed up the second shot each time. Hope this helps.
Great total score thetoddman. I’ve been playin hard on the GE section for the last week and have gone from 248 to 12…But still can’t get 23 to explode consistantly :(
Thanks :), 23 is tough but once you figure it out it’s not that bad. I’ve been playing it a lot lately trying different approaches and have gotten 100k + about a dozen times. The most consistent way I’ve found is to shoot your first bird low, barely over the flag into the very top of the vertical piece of glass and explode the bird on impact. The thing to look for here in the top part of the clock whipping back to the right. If it goes back really far and comes back to the left slowly, that’s when the vibration occurs but if it just whips to the right and back to the left really quick, nothing will happen. Then all you have to hope for is a good explosion and a good second shot.

Ideally it should be done with two but I have gotten 109k with 3

Oh that one is pure luck. As I was restarting the level, the first tower just started to slowly lean to the right & it was lucky enough to trigger a chain reaction & destroy everything
I’m clueless on 16,19 & 20 any advice anyone….Mr Potato..thetoddman23…
This is how I do each:
16 – Shoot big bird at a low angle so it skips off the top of the second pig and continues into the side of the building, just luck on how much damage is done.
19 – Haven’t done this one is a long time but from what I remember you shoot the first bird at a slight angle so it goes into the structure just below the wood, key is to get good penetration and hope the centralmost tnt blows up as well. Next bird takes out the first skinny, tall tower. Next bird shoot at a high angle and try to get it to penetrate down the leftmost part of the big open area. Sometimes the middle structure will tilt to the left blocking your path but ideally it will still be standing and this bird will make it down near the bottom and it will crumple down on itself (you may need to use an additional high arching shot for more destruction), next bird takes out the remaing portion of the top right structure.
20 – Shoot a high shot over the hat so that it lands where to two triangle cement pieces touch just past where the hats end. Let the bomb roll back to the left a little and detonate pushing all the hats to the left. Second bird shoot at a slightly lower angle over the hat and try to get it to nestle underneath the structure and detonate by the wheel. Last bird shoot almost horizontal and detonate right before it touches the tower causing it to tip over crushing a lot of the hats and pigs.
16- every 100th or so, the structure partially crumbles on it’s own. I haven’t 0 birded it yet but it is possible!
19- same as thetoddman mentioned except I don’t use 2nd bird to collapse the first bit because it sometimes collapses if gets hit by debris. I use the 3rd or 4th bird down there to get extra points.
20- exact same strategy but after you shoot the 1st bird make sure it kills the closest pig in the hats. Also, even if you kill the pig in the bricks with the 1st bird shoot the second bird at the cement anyway. You should get approximately 36000k pts. after first 2 birds.
I haven’t checked but I’m sure thetoddman has higher scores in all those levels so you may want to listen to his advice before mine! :)

I hate the football level. Best I’ve done so far is 191k. Only tip I can think of is to shoot your last bird even if all the pigs are gone. You can usually get more than the 10k that the bird is worth.

So… I’ve been playing GE 3 today while I’m at work (I let it run and finish on its own, play again when I don’t get a high score, repeat), so I was not watching when I got the top score of 82860. No idea how this happened.

I honestly loathe these types of levels — pure luck and you have to play the round over and over and over again. Just tedious and no fun at all. I was just shooting to get within 10k of the high score, shocked to get the top score (for now). Now if I can only improve my score on the football level. :(

Very nice! I do the same thing while at work lol. Been about 2 months now and I’ve managed 74k – 75k about six times now but haven’t had the luck to get a real good score.

How long did you leave it before it slef-destructed?
I think it took about 5 or 10 minutes — not very long. But this was about the 100th (1000th?) time I’ve let this level play on its own, and before this, my top score was around 71K. I’m just happy that I won’t have to play this level ever again :)
As I said on AB Golden Egg #3 Walkthrough page: Just wait 10min tops and restart if there wasn’t a self collapse until then.

I’d be happy to give you my ABO LUA files. I have 3 stars and all GE’s, but I don’t have TD on most levels, nor do I have great scores. At least you don’t have to redo everything. If you want them, drop me a line through the contact form.
Update: Darn, I see you’re on Android. My LUA files won’t work. You’d have to get them from someone who plays on an Android device.
I’m on android but only have an app to save on seasons with a LUA file. But I’ll check on my SD card and see if I can help out…

Any tips for GE’s 22 & 23?
22- first bird hit bottom piece of ice… Second bird shoot a high angle to get between the ice and the brick and let the bird blow up near the middle… Third bird hit the top left side of the wood srtucture (all pigs should be killed). Shoot the 4th bird quickly, you’ll get more points blowing up what’s left than the 10k the unused bird is worth. Keep trying that until you get a decent score. It took me a long time to get 94k!
23- hit the clock between 9 and 10 to get the bottom to vibrate…when (if) it explodes you should have at least 60k and if you don’t, start over. Use the next bird to kill what’s remaining. My score used 2 pigs. I know it can be done with one. Somebody will have a score in the 227-235k range soon I’m sure.

The “vibration” you are looking for is the bottom horizontal cement piece that is below the three square cement pieces under the clock. If you look closely at it you will see it vibrating. At this point just wait and see what happens.
Is there a way to have the golden egg screenshot image from the walkthrough page with the numbered eggs placed on the this leaderboard page. It would make it easier to enter the scores and reduce errors. sorry if it was suggested before. comments are sometimes mis-categorized .
Yes, we want this as well. We are trying to figure out a good way to implement it on the Seasons GE Leaderboard right now. Once we find a method that works there, it will be ported here as well.
It is a little less necessary here since the Golden Eggs are numbered in-game, but I agree it would be convenient.
Have you considered integrating those bonus and golden egg levels to their respective episode leaderboard. A different approach that eliminates the need for a separate golden egg page.
The egg levels are marked already, just add a number.
At the end of each episode, there would be the fields to be filled. Maybe use the images already made showing the the eggs and bonus icons to separate the extras section.

Problem is that some Golden Eggs in ABo don’t belong to an episode. We would rather maintain separate Leaderboards, just like GameCenter does not include GE scores in their tallies.
is there any reason in particular that rovio doesn’t make the special puzzle levels anymore like with ABo’s GEs#4, 7, 12, 17, and 21? and i’m not just asking this for ABo, but also for seasons too…why do none of them have any new puzzle levels? i was kinda disappointed to find out months ago that the ge for getting 3stars on all of mine and dine was just another chain reaction type of level :/

FINALLY, almost 4 months later at about 30 hours a week, GE-3 81,220 :D and there were still about 4/5 volleyballs bouncing around in the main area…

You can use the same GC account. In all likelihood, this will be natural since you will probably use the same iTunes account.

do i miss anything in golden egg 14? how can you get 115k? can anybody of those explain me how they get that score? i played for hours (to get smash maniac) but i could only get 107k and already there were only 2-3 stones left!!
GE 14 is a 0-bird level. Every once in a blue moon the left tower will fall to the right on its own.

You can do this way ; Play Episode 4 , level by level. for many days Wait until your Score come in up ; on the screen do not cut the information , cause maybe , you can cut the thousands K’s you are doing or adding in your account . I did very long time ago . And I did follow this tip from one of the fans on this site . Go ahead and try . I know it is the only one you are missing on ABo. Good luck. Sincerely nacho18.

Improved my GE 1 score, almost got you Jaberou :).
My GE#27 score, also 179k, was with two birds. In an early attempt, I did see the wooden structure on the right spontaneously collapse right at the beginning and set off the dynamite, but it didn’t do enough damage to let me finish up with just one bird. In theory I suppose it could. BTW, thanks to all of you who have posted tips and comments. It really helped me get as far as I have on this leaderboard – though Mr. Potato seems determined not to let me stay ahead of him for very long.:-)
i’ve gotten it done with 1 bird a few times – but that only left me in the high 160,000′s to low 170,000′s. i just – after way too many attempts – got 181,670 using the same 2-bomb bird method. it’s kind of a random luck thing where the flying wood and concrete land in order to crush all the 3K-value birthday cakes and other debris.
here’s my method: shoot the first bird between the vertical wooden slates (above and flanking the closest pig on the ground) and try to get close to 60K. then shoot the second black bird as far and LOW as possible to take out as much wood and concrete as possible while still making sure the string breaks and sends everything flying. after that – you just hope for the best. i’m just excited to be #1 (however momentarily) on #27 and i can move on to other things – like my job!

Re GE #1, here’s my experience with it (score = 48,390, third highest). As already described, beach ball took out top right pig, them came back over to the left and kept bouncing. In the next 10 minutes, two red balls escaped the cage, destroyed the two small boulders and interacted with the beach ball. Then those two red balls and the beach ball bounced in place for the next 50 minutes! As I had about 20k pts, I knew I would have a good score if another red ball escaped and the level completed. I nearly bailed, but after one hour, a third red ball did get out, interacted some with the beach ball, then bounced over to the right and took out the last glass, tnt and pigs. For me, the key in deciding whether to wait it out is if the beach ball is still bouncing and you have at least 19k pts (assuming the top right pig is out). This was by far the longest I ever let a level run. If it works for you, please just try not to beat my score! ;)
Golden Egg 1 minimum star requirement is 25000. (24000 is no star)

Another question – on GEs 4, 7, 12, 17, and 21, why do they say DISABLED on them?
Because they are puzzle levels with no score possible
