Ok, I’m going to try and do this the right way by flagging some scores. Bird Leader suggested that a few of us might be overstepping our bounds just a little, and trying to assume admin roles, so I will ease up a little.
With that said, I do have specific reasons to believe all of the scores I just flagged are not legit. Admins, feel free to ask any time. Thanks.
that may be a good solution, but new members will be ranked last as they can add only current ones. Is there any way um check the scope of old ones, otherwise new comers will be sad an they can not even get a decent rank in leader boards

@motta you got 518k on this level? I really doubt it. Check out my vid, and you can see why. Whether you used the power ups or not makes no difference.

Nope, sure haven’t. That’s a big egg! It looks like a total… I mean it’s just out there. It’s so big, and round, it looks so… golden!
So when is Rovio gonna dump the Mighty Eagle? Is it really that hard to pass a level with just one star? I can’t see the point of it, otherwise. Anyone wanna trade a Birdquake for 100 of my Mighty Eagles? LOL
It’s used far more as a “game within a game” concept (trying to earn the feather), as opposed to a skip.
Just in case anyone is wondering, rank among your friends depends on how many stars you have. 480 is the max right now. If multiple players are tied with stars, then the number of Mighty Eagle completions will determine the rank. There are 160 levels that can be eagled. If multiple players have the same number of stars and mighty eagles, THEN total in-game points will determine the winner.
Weekly tournament play has no impact on rank. That is a separate entity, all by itself.
Update to that post. With the addition of Pigini Beach, there are 525 stars, and 175 levels to eagle.

I’m new to the leader board and wondering….am I doing something wrong in entering my scores. I don’t see options for Poached Eggs or Mighty Hoax?
Unfortunately those Facebook episodes are not available on the leader board. We believe that this would create more confusion at this point.

@Bill, you could show the video to the level 8 Pigini Beach? As much as I try, for whatever strategy is, with power up, trying not to let anything left, I can’t get close to your score. I’d love to see what was your strategy. Thank you!

Yeah, not sure if that was done legitimately… I keep friends with the cheat around, so we can tell which scores are possible with the cheat vs without it. Thank you by the way.

Achievements are only available on Apple devices through Game Center.
But many of my friends have feather achievements for their facebook angry birds. Even they don’t know how they got it.
@panda there is no actual achievement that we know of. The only thing you can do is buy/earn eagles, and try to get feathers on all levels. On the main screen, it will display the number of levels where you achieved 100% with the Mighty Eagle, next to your score and rank. It is marked with a feather. If you, or your friends know something we don’t, then please ask them about it, and give us a report.

Just wanted to let you know I added my points on level 4 from the tournament after it had closed and then I read the post regarding not changing it. It was not a major number…I think my previous was something like 93800. I had written the new score down and left home before I got a chance to enter it. When I got back the tournament was over. So sorry and will follow protocol now that I know.
Other than the two new levels that debuted today, have all the levels been repeated at least once?
I know the “Robot” level hadn’t been repeated until today, and it first was seen in the first week of the tournaments…it made me wonder if all the levels have been repeated now.
It depends on how far you go back. The new levels from the last 3 weeks or so have not been repeated yet. But before that, I think they have pretty much all been repeated.
@vickyblue do you have any strategies for Levels 7, 10, 12, 15, 22, 29, 33, 39, 43, and 44 that you would like to share?
Add Golden Egg 4 to that list too. Please, how did you do this?
Two week 11 highscores by Pocko-X quite suspicious.
Possibly, though the scores are possible with a lot of playing, and a lot of luck. He reads all the comments, and watches all the vids.
OMG this new tournament, week of July 30th is beyond my abilities. I have watched the videos, read the strategies, tried to replicate them but can’t get above one star on any of them! Grrrrr That’s all. Just needed to give my frustrations a voice >:(
I agree, this week’s levels are for seasoned pros.
If you have some aiming tool power-ups, use it to compare shots against marks on the base/backgrounds. You don’t have to use it every time, just make sure you are zoomed fully out so the marks dont change or be harder to see the full shot.
If you can get the angles worked out, make a note so you can set up easily during the week.
I agree aswell, these levels are very tricky, especially for a casual player
@el-capitano – yes, I do have quite a few of those. Since writing my frustration comment, I have used them and have been able to do a bit better but am not even hitting the average scores…but I’ll keep shooting & luck will have to fall upon me at some point :) Sometimes it’s hard for me to tell if the person making the video has zoomed in or out and to what extent. Rarely does my screen resemble theirs even after trying to figure it out. Would screen size make a difference? But yeah, that aiming power up is a huge help for me, thanks for suggesting it. It seems Rovio keeps repeating the hardest/least liked levels..at least for me.
@dollarbill2208 I forget which level but one of your youtube videos is A-MAZ-ING! You wiped out the entire level with one bird. The one where you slung the boomerang bird backwards. I was in awe of your abilities. I never was that great in physics LOL and I do believe I am ‘cockeyed’ – I even hang pictures in my home crooked (so everyone else says, to me they look straight ha ha that could be part of my angry bird problem!)
I always zoom out so I can see what everything is doing and it keeps my markers the same. Thats personally, but if you set up markers for the cursor, that changes if the zoom is different. All it means is you dont have to use the aiming tool every time, as you know the angles.
Bill has some amazing videos on here! Level 4 tourny is similar to how you described, fire the green bird backwards at around 45 degrees and fire fractionally after. It goes backwards and wipes out most of the level (very hard shot to nail though).
Level 3 can also use a similar tack with white bird. Aim almost vertical release and fire same time. It will travel to the top and release boulders. Although Bird quake is best but not reliable, or KS to take out solid structure + the boulders.
Not easy, my first few attempts yeilded 1 or 2 stars, took me longer than usual to get 3 stars and improve scores.
@shelly I can think of two levels where that is the case. Surf and Turf level 19, and one of the tournament levels last week.
I think **Sling Scope + Super Seeds** is the best option to score 3 starts @shelly !

I agree with Shelly, this July 30th Tournament is a doozy. I’ve 3*’d Level 1 and 2*’d Level 2 with 162,970 so not too far off and so far without power ups.
I always try to play without power ups so my question is: Has anyone 3*’d all 4 Levels this week without using power ups?
BirdLeader’s videos don’t use PowerUps.
Thanks Slim, I didn’t know that. So far I’ve never had to use any of the Walkthroughs for the Facebook Tournaments but it’s nice to know they’re there and “power up free”.
And thank you BirdLeader for creating them. I hope it’s still fun and not a chore.
Finally, my high scores are getting beat by some legit players. Believe it or not, I’m happy about this.

@amslimfordy I just had this CRAZY idea about how to get free power ups legitimately, without paying for them. This goes back to something mobus1603 said a while ago, that just now hit me.
You could theoretically create a bunch of different (fake) accounts, like hundreds of them if you wanted to, and send gifts from each account to your primary, and then all the gifts would be free, because it doesn’t cost a gift just to send a gift. What do you think? lol!
LOL Thats always gone in in most FB games, sounds like alot of work IMO. but theres people out there with the time and inclination to do that. Personally I value my time better and just hammer the CC.

dude if have a switch proxy software u can make a hundred of them, cuz with your real IP u can’t make more than 4 fake user’s from one place i was thinking of this idea from the first day ABT make the tournament but every time am trying to do it they block my main user on facebook, so u’r idea it will work if u can change u’r IP every time u create a new user.

yeah, my all scores of this week are without powerups. You can have the 3 stars if u are ready to spend some time without losing your mind, the videos of birdleader, sheikhoo may help you for 3 staring without power ups.
I know all the admins are a bit busy trying to deal with the new ABO update and the power up issue, but I was wondering if the new Ultrabook Adventure will be added to the AB-FB leaderboard? I was thinking it would be since you went to all the trouble of creating walkthroughs.
Hrm, I don’t think we have any plans to add it since it’s not part of the “Angry Birds Friends” (formerly “Facebook”) app itself. But we’d be open to issues I suppose. We honestly haven’t discussed it.
I got an idea. This page needs a facebook app which has to be required for accesing the leaderboards. It will publish automatically scores when installed and will has anti cheat code in it that prevents publishing scores when cheat is used.
When user installs this app he may be marked as “Verified ABN Member” and everyone to know he’s using anticheat system.
I am wondering whether Rovio will agree to write a facebook app like this…

It’s a swell idea, but I bet that would be awfully difficult to put into place. I don’t think there is any way to tell whether the cheat has been used, other than our expert eyes, which can be quite subject to discriminating.
However, the cheat is a Firefox extension, and therefore only works with the Mozilla Firefox browser, and some of it’s sister browsers (I can’t think of the other names right now). The cheat does not work when playing with IE or Chrome browser.
The next problem is that when you use the cheat, and beat your high score, I’m pretty sure that previous score is gone forever. This would be a bad situation, as anyone who has ever used the cheat could never be able to enter their scores with your proposed system.
I don’t think it’s so difficult to build such an app. Many other games (like Counter-Strike and Call of Duty) have anti cheat systems. If this app is integrated in ABF there will be no matter what browser is used.
About the scores, the user will be not able to save his high scores when cheat is detected.

Has anybody seen “OH NO, A PIG HAS EATEN YOUR GIFT” when opening your gifts from friends? (Not sure if this needs explaination or not, but here goes…in the Facebook ABF game, you can send and receive gifts.)I get anywhere from 10-30 gifts on any given day, and I have not seen that until today. As if I wasn’t an ANGRY BAT to begin with….”just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!” (….said in a gravel-y, Al Pacino-Michael Corleone voice.)
I get 1 or 2 failures a week with gifts.. just something to do with farcebook getting rubbish data back i think it is

angry birds friends week 13 level 4 – is 116,000 possible? top two scores by friends are 116,810 and 113,900… high score on this site is 105,030. These two scores do not seem possible to me
@simplelifer Those scores were probably attained using the unlimited power ups cheat. We try to keep scores like that off of ABN.

Previous week’s scores are not viewable on the app, unfortunately.
In Golden Grenade I score 145,xxx its 3 star
the 3 star score should be 145000 or below not 176000
You will notice an asterisk next to the score. That means that the minimum has not been confirmed yet.

wow some guy added me on facebook and i did because he plays angry birds
so he took about 40 percent of my goal krowns

but this week in the tournament he was whooping me in 3 levels

i asked him how so he told me he cheats to keep up with the scores
dude couldn’t beat half my scores and he cheated
the cheat gives him 99 off all the power ups all the time and can use them much as u like

You have to be more specific pocko and I recommend you use (and not abuse) our flagging system.
