Ever been curious about where your fellow flingers reside? Well, the ABN members map–with sortable table–can help.
Disclaimer: no personal data is revealed on the map and should NOT be provided. This is meant for fun and locations are approximate.
Please do not bookmark the map or table — Links are different each time the map is updated, and old versions are periodically deleted. So if you bookmark the link, it will be old and periodically disappear.
• Current Map (revised 1 pm PDT 7/24/16)
Hint, click on pin to see who is there.
This used to be a sortable table, but Google Fusion tables no longer sorts correctly.
Wait a sec?! You’re not on the map?! Well, never fear. If you want to be listed on the map, please supply:
• Nickname (if different from username)
• State / Region
• City (optional, DO NOT provide if you are under 21; Please do not make any comment about your age)
Please use @SweetP in your post
Don’t forget, you can also add your country and U.S. state (if applicable) to your ABN profile! To do so, go to the dropdown menu from your username in the top-right corner of the site, then select Edit Profile > Personal Info.
WHAT NOT TO DO
• Do not list city if you are under 21, and please do not list your age
• Do not supply Zip code
• Do not share personally identifiable info
small red dots: Angry Birds fans
small green dots: Bad Piggies fans
Large green pins: Pigineering members
small yellow dots: AB celebrities (including several AB Activity Parks and Piggie Island)
Large purple pins: Several people in almost the same location
Although this is the complete Google map of the world, your location remains approximate, so others can’t figure out exactly where you live (see disclaimer above). In the case of two people with the same location, we arbitrarily assign a more specific location to break the duplication. These arbitrary details are not displayed on the map or table (and aren’t correct, in any case).
@Mvnla I can see it niw5,but its still asking me to sign in and its kinda blocked, ,took a screenshot. .hold on While I figured out how to uplosd it here
hope this works
i can see the table ,,idk let me try again on tablet
@mvnla2 it’s fine on my tablet ,bigger screen,, it’s working now:) thanks good job:)
Do you see it as a table? Was the first screenshot from your phone?
@Kathy — Were you looking at the table? It should look like a table, not a map. If you were looking at the map, I have no idea why it didn’t come up full screen.
Yes I isee it as a table, the screenshot was from my phone, no idea why the map came up.. but yes definitely see the table:)
Thanks! Google Fusion Tables does weird things for inexplicable reasons.
I don’t know how to get a screenshot with this tablet, but was definitely the table..
See if this works
Np @mvnla2 happy to help:)
It looks fine to me, @mvnla2.
The dots now show up fine on my computer.
@smwforever45 — Did you click on the link above? Lind changes every time I update file, so if you bookmarked link, it would not be the current map.
I see you just northeast of Munich (or is it Frankfurt?)
I actually don’t live near Frankfurt, but I’m too young to give more information so… :P (Although I am above the German legal age…)
Yes I did, it’s version 716a I’m viewing. Still can’t see anything.
I checked to see if there was a filter on but nothing.
Does the map have lots of dots and you just can’t see yours, or are there no dots?
No dots at all.
@smwforever45 — Gaah! I’ve never heard of this before. Will ask someone else to look at it. What computer and browser are you using? What version of operating system?
Have you ever looked at an earlier version of the map and seen dots?
I’m using Windows 7, 64-bit. Google Chrome 51.0.2704.103.
My computer is a Dell XPS 8500, not that it would matter. :P
Yeah I did take a look at the map months ago – like, late March or early April – and all dots were appearing. They just disappeared one day and never came back…
Weirder and weirder! Don’t know what to suggest. Have you tried clearing your browser cache, closing all windows and doing a hard shutdown of your computer?
When you open the map, you might try clicking on any options available and seeing if there is anything you can do to get pins (dots) to appear. You might also try contacting help at Google…[Read more]
Nope! Nothing I can do… The locations are definitely there but they remain invisible no matter what options I change.
Won’t work on another browser (Firefox) either.
However, the markers DO show up on my phone (iOS)… Huh.
I randomly clicked on the city of Frankfurt by accident… and had information about user ‘trishohara’ pop up on me. There’s still no markers – it’s like they’re invisible or something…
Just found myself on the map – here’s what I see if you wanna look.
I got an entry on the map… but no markers so it was a completely blind search.
@snoid — You might be amused to know that CA annexed AZ. Not sure where Tuscon, CA is, though. : D
Will be fixed shortly.
When I was admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court in the early 80s, my certificate said that I was from the “City of Tucson, State of Texas.” I called the clerk of the court, and he said that he’d send a replacement. I asked if he wanted me to send back the original, but he let me keep it as a souvenir. So I have a document from the…[Read more]
@divelucaya — You’re on the map, but hidden unless you zoom way, way in. I need to make a couple of group icons (not just for you).
@MVNLA2 Thank you very much. I now have my nest on the map. And I actually didn’t have to zoom in very much. Wouldn’t it have been sweet if you could have used golden eggs as placemarkers?
@divelucaya — I did try to put you on the map months ago, but there was apparently something about your address that Google maps didn’t recognize. Hopefully you will show up in the next update (coming soon, I hope).
@MVNLA2 Here are the coordinates (City Hall in Cebu City, Philippines) as shown in my Google maps. I believe you can enter placemark info using these.
@BirdLeader — I will do one last update to the map, but then no more. I’ve asked if anyone else wants to take it over.
Thanks for the heads up and for keeping it up to date all this time. It’s been a great addition to the site. Personally, I don’t have time to keep it updated either. Hopefully we can find someone else.
@Divelucaya @all — You may have noticed that the members’ map hasn’t been updated for a while (6 months it appears). I will try to do one more update, but it will be the last.
Thanks @MVNLA2. I only mentioned it because I posted my address 6 months ago and it says the map was revised 02/05/2016 and others who posted after me have been added. You do a great job and I am sure the map got to be a hassle with so many members.
