Ever been curious about where your fellow flingers reside? Well, the ABN members map–with sortable table–can help.
Disclaimer: no personal data is revealed on the map and should NOT be provided. This is meant for fun and locations are approximate.
Please do not bookmark the map or table — Links are different each time the map is updated, and old versions are periodically deleted. So if you bookmark the link, it will be old and periodically disappear.
• Current Map and Table (revised 1pm PST 1/10/15)
Now opens as a table; click on Map 2 to see map.
Hint, click on pin to see who is there.
• Old Table of People Listed on the Map
New table is above with map. To find someone on the map, follow this procedure:
Use filter on member Name, etc.; can specify = , or starts with, type in name or part of name.
Should work. Let me know if it doesn’t.
This used to be a sortable table, but Google Fusion tables no longer sorts correctly.
Wait a sec?! You’re not on the map?! Well, never fear. If you want to be listed on the map, please supply:
• Nickname (if different from username)
• State / Region
• City (optional, DO NOT provide if you are under 21)
Please use @mvnla2 in your post
Don’t forget, you can also add your country and U.S. state (if applicable) to your ABN profile! To do so, go to the dropdown menu from your username in the top-right corner of the site, then select Edit Profile > Personal Info.
WHAT NOT TO DO
• Do not list city if you are under 21, and please do not list your age
• Do not supply Zip code
• Do not share personally identifiable info
small red dots: Angry Birds fans
small green dots: Bad Piggies fans
Large green pins: Pigineering members
small yellow dots: AB celebrities (including several AB Activity Parks and Piggie Island)
Large purple pins: Several people in almost the same location
Although this is the complete Google map of the world, your location remains approximate, so others can’t figure out exactly where you live (see disclaimer above). In the case of two people with the same location, we arbitrarily assign a more specific location to break the duplication. These arbitrary details are not displayed on the map or table (and aren’t correct, in any case).
@braden2004 — Did you post your location somewhere? I got an e-mail notification, but can’t find your post. The info you I saw in the e-mail was enough for me to give you a dot, but it needs to be posted in this group. Thanks
@abcdeghi, @kerravon @testuser23 — Welcome to the Members’ Map Group.
@abcdeghi, @testuser23 — If you want your own dot on the map, please post the information requested above in this group.
@KerrAvon You will have your own dot on the map in the next update. I’m surprised there’s no one from Melbourne yet.
@larry, @raygamers — Welcome to the Members’ Map. You will be on the map in the next update. You both forgot one important thing: if you @mention me, I don’t get a message that you’ve posted here. Groups seem to be different than everything else.
Should be @redbird123
iShould also be “f you don’t @mention me, I don’t get a message that you’ve posted here.”
I managed to update the map, but not really happy about it. It now opens as a table, and you have to click on the map 2 tab to see the map. You may have to use Google Chrome to be able to click on the dots to see who is there.
@appleaj — Your in my master table; so if I can figure out how to get Google Fusion Tables working again you’ll be on the map. Wish me luck.
