Rumble at eagle mountain way too hard

I’m level 40, and currently doing Rumble at Eagle Mountain in single player. I have about 8700 Team power, but the boss here has 17500. C’est impossible!

Am I doing anything wrong?

I think maybe you need to stop playing the campaign. It’s only going to get harder. I played all the way through the map once, to unlock all of the dungeons, and then just a little bit further and I stopped. The next campaign level for me (which is in the black area) has a power of 5850, and my team power is currently 13803. I’m able to easily defeat all scout missions on insane, and as far as I can tell, there is no point in advancing the campaign. I was told that increasing pig power does not yield more rewards.
