  • I think I'm done
CmdrBond -- Not sure what to make of all the pig bosses names; I haven't heard of most of them. They mostly look like the king pig???
  • I wouldn't worry about them - I don't think they matter too much - I was just copying over from the wiki.

as for large and medium, my bad, they are correct as they are.
  • Added corpse sprite
  • According to the latest comic (Space) - The Black Bird is called Bob.

Also, I believe the White bird is widely regarded as female and according to the comics the Blue Bird(s) are regarded as juvenile while the rest are adult.

Dunno if any of this is important.
  • No, that's a typo. I have confirmed with Rovio. It should say "Bomb"
  • I guess the reverse shot's other nickname, the RRS, should be added. Stands for Remi Reverse Shot (after Remi, I think?) Anyway, used a fair bit to describe the technique :)

Also, TD, standing for Total Destruction - i.e. 100% destruction with the ME/SE to achieve the feather :)

How about Big Dog as well, from Rio - I know he only appears once or twice, but I remember someone asking about the dog in Rio the other day :)
  • His name is Luiz I believe.

    RRS is useful.
  • Will be making this glossary permanant soon. For now I'm going to announce it just in case there are any last minute things people want to add.
  • Maybe you could add sardines (koi on YotD)
  • @Slim is expanding my geek vocabulary; maybe some of these should be included. Yesterday I looked up definition for "fanon;" today it was "torrent." Any more that should be included for us non-professional gamers?
Will work on updating this week.
  • Sure. Fanon is fan-created concepts that are NOT considered to be Rovio-official. Torrents are unofficial copies of apps, which are not supported by Rovio or ABN.
  • Gaah! I think I'll wait a while before redoing edits which were lost when site was down.
@all -- Any more suggestions welcome!
  • @Laurence Who is Remi
  • OK, I think this is up-to-date.
@all -- Please submit any additions / corrections / comments
  • @mvnla2 I think it was a user from another AB forum who coined the technique and phrase.
  • @mvnla2 Also, you might want to update the "boss fight" definition, since AB Space has boss fights too. :)
  • @kartflyer Any idea who / where? Still trying to figure out which Remi (or is it Remy?) they mean and why they used that phrase.
  • I think I'm done, unless there is more input from anyone.
  • looks good to me.
  • @mvnla2 Just as a heads up I've started working on the page that will live on ABN. If there are no objections, I think it might be worth closing this now (I will give you time to respond). I imagine I'll be able to push the page live next week. I will update this thread when it happens. At which point we can defer all future conversions to that page.

Thanks again for everyone's help. This is quite amazing!
  • Sorry for the last minute thought but what about loft shots lob shots and speed bursts and things of that nature. They're used often in the walk thrus and some players may be confused by them.
  • General wording should not be included, I don't think. If a player doesn't understand what it means to lob a bird, thats an English issue, not an AB issue.
  • I know Slim, but when you use the term "loft" or "lob" someone may not know the difference between those "arching" shots and a flat shot.

To me, lob means "throw" in general so it could be a high arching shot or a flat one.

I know it's a minor point and I'm not saying it should or shouldn't be on the glossary, but just thought I'd bring it up.
  • @angrypig Go ahead and close. Maybe should add BP for Bloated Pig -- I've seen that used today. I'll let you add.
Still think you should change angrypig to BirdLeader : )
  • @all BL is working on making this permanent, so no updates until that happens, I think.
  • @all -- This should be closed soon. See glossary under "About". If you have more suggestions / corrections, please leave comments there.
