Angry Birds Seasons PC 2.2.0. Update (answered)

    When I updated my app to 2.2.0, all of my data got deleted. Does anyone know why?

    We always caution PC to back up their progress before updating.

    Yeah, when I was updating, I thought I saw something say"deleting all files".

    PC installers, like InstallShield, as as example, include a deletion subroutine to purge the folders of temp files used during installation of the update, but they're not very precise and can delete files that should not be deleted.

    The inclusion of such a subroutine is because Windows performance lags over time as folders get choked up with old files that the program no longer uses.
