Should I post new scores or let old high scores stand? Page 1

I had already posted my high scores for AB Seasons when my tablet reset to zero. My question is would it be right to leave the old scores on the leaderboard or should I submit my new scores ?

Good question. I've learned through reading comments/forum etc. that quite a few members have lost their scores for various reasons (mainly when updating) but I've never read what they did re their scores on the leaderboards so I'll be interested in the answer too.

@pengoreagle
I would say you can Leave the old Scores on boards. I know it's really hatd work to play all levels again for 3 Stars. I find that's really bad luck what happened in this case. So i personally See no probleme! :-) -
It's really up to you Pengoreagle. You can leave them or gradually re-enter your new scores. Both options are fine I suppose.
On the other hand, leaving your old scores does defy the purpose of the leader board a bit: comparing your scores to top and average scores, ranking, etc ...
ps: it will also make it impossible for us to verify any top score you might have, should someone flag it. -
I understand sal that is why I asked. I want to be as honest as I can. I was just wondering if their was a ruling of some sort in place. I have no problem either way.

@pengoreagle Are you sure you dont have an old backup somewhere? All you need is your highscores file. That said, back up your stuff from now on :-)
Well I personally wouldn't really mind if you left the old scores unless they are very good, then you should be able to prove them always.
I'd say leave them be and make it a goal to improve every last one of your previous highscores, that's a great motivation to improve your scores too! -
Ty Tenjoker, would the backup be in the app or tablet? Iwill see if I can find it. I am always trying to improve the scores (much to my 8 yr olds chagrin). LOL

Recently i buy a android tablet, can i copy progress from my symbian device to unroot android tablet?
-
@pjng - I don't think an Android device can communicate with a symbian device, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least give it a try. If they don't then you'd have to transfer the .lua files via a different device and a backup program of some kind.
