  • *facepalm*
  • Maddy just laughed for the first time. At me!
  • Congrats @rd!................ I think
  • Hi @all :)
@mvnla2 I always enjoyed diagramming sentences, too. I made sure that my children knew how to do it. Most curriculums have discontinued diagramming, unfortunately. I notice handwriting has fallen by the wayside, as well.
Hi @burbman! How have you been?
  • @rd -- You will have to take a photo of her laughing!
  • That's wonderful, @rd :)
  • She laughed because she was excited to see me. I stood over her and said in my high pitched Daddy voice, "guess who gets to take care of you!" She smiled and giggled. Momma said she's never done that before.
  • P.S. I like the name of the hotel!
  • Well that's nice
  • @all Olympics addicts! Help! The Olympics is killing me! Or at least turning me into something squishier than a couch potato, maybe a couch rotten tomato? Do you know how long it takes to fast-forward through 5 hours of recorded Olympics coverage, looking for parts of it I want to watch. Not to mention, when I got up this morning, I think there were more than 10 hrs already recorded (since I went to sleep last night), and another big chunk was recording! I can hope for a rapid onset of Olympics overload, but I think something more drastic is required.
  • @rd the twisting continues (around Maddy's little finger) :). That laugh is the greatest sound, isn't it?
  • Idk @mvnla2. I am not watching the Olympics.
  • I'm also not watching it
  • @wanda Yep. I will try to find a pic of her smiling.
  • @mvnla2 it is difficult, isn't it? Good thing they don't occur every year. I found some old VHS tapes a few months ago; my daughters had recorded figure skating from several years back. They still want to keep them. Of course, at MY house, not theirs.
  • Good evening @mvnla2 Olymic addict here! I'm going to have to cut back....seriously! I'm not even sure what I'm watching half the time! It'll only get worse of course because the track & field has yet to start! @wanda I missed you earlier but wanted to say how much I loved your cats name....very classy:)!
  • I have been gone in three weeks. I see that it has been made three new bagdes. Congrats to everyone that has got a new rank and/or a bagde(s)!
  • @jlz666 thanks; he is a classy cat. He's a Maine Coon -brown tabby. He is very spoiled, but no more than befits his name:). My youngest son was pushing for Octavius or Ceasar and I am a Star Trek junkie, so Tiberius was a good compromise :)
  • I am installing the Space update on my phone and my kindle as I type. I may have to take my new rocket for a spin soon :). See everyone later!
  • wow, @rd. That's cheered me up something fierce :) I love hearing kids laughing. I'm sure that as a dad you'll be laughed at many more times to come ;)
  • sounds uncomfortable, that, @blahalb09. I was stuck on the Oblivion ride at Alton Towers once. It's a vertical drop roller coaster, and I got stuck at the top of the drop. All they were able to do (as soon as the ride was going again) was shout "hold tight!" and we plummeted :)
  • @mvnla2 I'm seeing much of the Olympics from my own perspective: the horrific commute to work xD I've watched a bit over the past weekend, including beach volleyball (at which i am now an armchair expert: this game is hard work!) and archery, which is pretty phenomenal. Oh, and the football, of course.

A little bit of squishiness never hurt no-one ;)
  • ahh, back on the old computer
  • @wanda - by chance did Amazon add Danger Zone?!?!?!
  • Hey @wanda, have fun with the rest of Utopia.
I love the origin of your cat's name. My sister named a stuffed teddy bear Tiberius for the same reason.
  • @burbman I did get it -Space Eagle- on my kindle, but lost all progress. I haven't installed on my phone yet. I am going to double check my back ups first.
  • @karen68 I am having fun so far. Those egg bomb levels-yikes!-
  • @karen68 if we get a second cat, he will be Picard :)
  • @wanda I haven't managed to do much with the egg bombs, they take some getting used to! I've got through the rest of Utopia but haven't worked to 3-star everything yet.
We should have a coffee-Star Trek party at the BP one morning.
  • Did you see on the news - Patrick Stewart carried the Olympic torch in England.
  • Hey @everyone:)
*Grabs her after work PigKiller ..slinks into booth to check.leaderboard :)*
Hope, everyone had a good day:)
  • Hi @karen68 and @Wanda :)
@angryboy I hears you've already begun construction on your new place:) congrats!!
  • thanks @kathy, we may even move earlier than expected, but our problem is leaving, we like it there
  • @Kathy Actually, we're just packing for now.
  • Hi @kathy - what exactly is in a Pigkiller?
hi @angryboy, when do you predict construction to be done? And how tired are you?
  • @karen68 We have to move out by 11:59:59PM EST tomorrow night.
  • Wow @blah, that soon. Can't wait to see what you're creating.
  • @karen68 I must look for Patrick Stewart carrying the torch on youtube. I would love a Star Trek coffee party. We should have Earl Grey, hot, as well :)
Hi @Kathy. How are you today?
  • LOL. @Karen I'm not really sure Orange Bird specialty..and he wont tell..but its goood..a little light fruity taste and fizzy :)
  • Is this only a place for weary fingers? If so am I allowed in with an angry bird RSI bust shoulder?
  • Well @angryboy we will have to have our patrons visit your new facility more often than we visited the hotel:)
  • I reckon that counts as weary enough, El Capitano :)

Evening to you, @kathy! I'm all for a pigkiller, unless it's overly corrosive :)
  • Welcome @El Capitano everyone is welcome:)
  • Hi, @hinarei!
Welcome @ElCapitano. Nice to meet you.
  • Pigkillers for all..on the house:)
