Note, we don’t actively update this page anymore as we now have a single Golden Eggs walkthrough page that shows you how to find the Golden Eggs and unlock the star.
Solutions for solving the puzzle levels:
Note, as updates come out the instructions below get a little out dated. The walkthroughs above are better way to solve the puzzles and where applicable include the same exact instructions that are written below. We’re keeping these here–for now–for archival purposes.
Soundboard
To get the star press group of birds, slingshot, TNT, any top bird, any bottom pig.
Angry Radio
To get the star press any two buttons simultaneously or if your on a PC / Mac just select the 3rd button, rotate the frequency command (holding the click) in the middle area between the 3rd and the 4th frequency and then release.
Spread open the beak with thumb and index finger (level no longer exists in version 1.5).
To get the star tap pigs nose with both thumbs (level no longer exists in version 1.5).
Soundboard 2
Press blue bird, red bird, black bird (with eyes closed), blue bird, green bird.

12/23/2010 – Updated for version 1.5 (the Mighty Eagle update). The 5th and 6th Golden Egg levels are now different. The puzzle levels “Mighty Eagle’s Beak” and “Snoozing Pig” are gone and have been replaced with regular levels that are pretty easy to solve.

i’m having trouble getting the star for the 17th golden egg. followed the instructions and watched the video. but cant get the star. how can i get the star?????
Basically just “activate” (tap) all of the pigs and then slide the red bird back and forth until you get the star
Just try to avoid hitting the “back” button. It seems to be the only puzzle where you can actually exit without getting the star.

Well, it looks like I now have them all. Thank Goodness…I’ve got to get away from this game! Now have 22 eggs….one of which is the football. Seems as a comment I read somewhere about having 3 footballs is rumor.

My iPhone shows only 17 eggs…
1. How can i unlock the rest?
2. Also… One of the golden eggs is a treasure chest but when I managed to open the damn chest, after 2 million attempts… Pffft nothing happened! :-(
Help please
You’ll need to update to the latest version–which as of writing is v1.5.3–in order to access the levels where the rest of the Golden Eggs are hidden. If you already tapped the treasure chest then chances are you already have the Golden Egg. If you go to the Golden Egg screen it’ll be one with no star in it. Just match the number in the image above to the number on your iPhone’s screen.

I think this is asking about the word “Rio” on the football. That’s just added to number the golden eggs in the picture. Not part of the game.
i have this on my macbook pro, would these still apply to the golden eggs on angry birds for mac?
Yes, the golden eggs are the same for mobile and Mac/PC. A few notes:
First, not all of these eggs are available yet in Mac/PC since the levels are not yet on these platforms (i.e., 20 21 and 23 since Ham ‘em High is not yet finished).
Also, if you check out the Golden Egg list, there are a few specific directions for obtaining some eggs in Mac/PC, since “tapping” does not work.
After you get 3 Stars on all levels and get stars for all 26 eggs, what is supposed to happen? I have done this and nothing happens…is it just over?
Well I wouldn’t say it’s over… Since there are more eggs still to come. But there are no fireworks, sorry.

26 is also the smallest integer which is not a palindrome but whose square is a palindrome (26^2 = 676). I can’t really think of any other properties of 26 right now, but those are nifty I suppose.

i noticed on your screens, you have feathers on all of your cleared levels. how do i get these?
Feathers are earned via total destruction of a level with the Mighty Eagle
How come snoozing pig and mighty eagles beak how come those got removed?
Could not be completed on non-multitouch devices, sadly.
I have Angry Birds 1.5.3 on Android and I do not see the Mine and Dine level. And only 22 eggs

I’m not sure which level or golden egg you are referring to.
There are only 27 golden egg levels in Angry Birds.
And only two golden eggs in Poached Eggs to be collected ( level 1-8 and level 2-2 )
