We obviously can’t know everything, so many of these are reported and/or updated by the AngryBirdsNest community, so if you notice something out of the ordinary leave a comment below and investigate. Hello,

I’m brand new here so my apologies if I’m doing this incorrectly, but I’ve looked through the bugs and I don’t see anything similar to the issues I’m having. There are actually three (maybe I’m supposed to list them in separate posts I’m not sure) …

My main question is when I loaded AB onto my mom’s iPad and there are absolutely no eggs to be had whatsoever, anywhere. It’s the original free version, and she has an iPad 2 (the one without Siri). Is this normal? I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.

I’ve also had problems with the white bird and its eggs, where sometimes I will touch the screen to launch an egg and it doesn’t launch. I thought maybe I just wasn’t quick enough, but today I had enough time time to hit my screen four separate times and nothing happened, so I know now that it’s not me.

My last issue was needing to uninstall and reinstall AB (and subsequently losing all my hard work – rrrrrr!), because the game would load and play music, but there was no screen at all. I could even touch the screen and hear selections being made. Strangely, when I backed up into the world selection screen, even though there technically was no selection to see, I could see the little piggy with the sun/raincloud over his head perfectly fine.

Has anyone else experienced any of these issues? By the way, I am playing on an Android Huawei Prism if that matters any input would be much appreciated! :)

I should also mention that on my phone when the screen had decided to start blanking, this was only after I made it all the way through Birdday Party (and once it decided to blank out, it never worked again).

Welcome!

1) There is no bug here, just a misunderstanding. The “Free” app for iOS devices is only a trial. It contains 20-someodd levels and nothing more. This is different than Android, whose free app is the full app with ad-support.

2) Yeah… There’s many complaints about the White Bird’s responsiveness. While I wouldn’t call it a bug per-say, it can e a bit of a nuisance. Make sure you have a visible distance between the bird and any blocks.

3) Graphics issues are usually pretty isolated. The best course of action is usually restarting your device.

Please can someone help?
I am stuck on Moon Festival level 2-6, I have tried to get the feather hundreds of times but no matter what I do I cant get any more than 98%.
Most of the time I can only get 95-96% and have only gotten the 98% twice.
I have used videos on you tube as a guide to help but no matter what I do
I I just cant get there, the tuna can either overshoots or undershoots & its really driving me crazy. This is the last feather for this whole level.
I am wondering if there may be a glitch or something preventing me from completing this level???

In today’s newly released level 1-18, Angry Birds Seasons Winterwonderham, the level is scoring the level before the destruction has ended and before all points have been calculated. For example, time and again, while the stone slabs on the left are sliding down the ice, the game suddenly ends and issues a score before allowing for more points due to the destruction of those stone slabs, which are worth a few thousand points. I tried reloading Seasons, but the problem persists.

Ummm, it also has happened repeatedly on this level that, just as the helmeted pig on the far right is about to fall (and would therefore be the final pig destroyed), suddenly the game tells me that I failed to destroy all the pigs. I think something is wrong here.

Sorry but this is just lame. I just looked up your three-star solution for this level and it has a score of 141,000+, with the last 4,000 points coming from the sliding slabs of concrete that are destroyed — you know, the destruction that never get recorded when I play on my iphone. I have 137,000+ but my score would be much higher if you would fix this problem — i.e., the problem is that this level scores long before all movement and before all destruction has concluded. The first step to being healed is admitting you have a problem . . . . . . .

@Jethro999 — You don’t seem to realize that ABN does not make AB. AB is made by Rovio, and ABN is not owned by Rovio. If you don’t like how the game works, and lots of people agree with your dislike for early closing, especially on this level, you need to complain to Rovio directly.

How about some cheese to go with your… Oh never mind. How about a pop quiz? Everyone loves a pop quiz. OK, I’ll take Angry Bird Glitches and Bugs for 500, @AMSlimfordy. Ding! Premature Calculation. Oh, Oh, oh, oh! I know the answer: What is the most whined about aspect of many Angry Birds levels? So. Do I win a prize?

Seriously, if Rovio (makers of said game) went back and “fixed” this alleged “problem” in the 581 levels – across multiple AB apps, including AB Star Wars, it would ruin the game we all know and love. Evidence, you say? OK, so Jethro complains loud enough and WW 1-18 gets spayed and neutered. Jethro is happy because his score is now 141,000+ – great, right? Wrong. Removing the uncertain, seemingly random act of Premature Calculation would boost everyone’s score, including the three-star Walkthrough video. Then poor Jethro would find something else about how the video cheated death by swallowing a tube of toothpaste right before impact, therefore creating a toothbrush-sized hole in the space-time continuum, (Yes, I watch The Big Bang Theory, too Mr. Smartypants.) resulting in 2,200 additional points for having whiter teeth and less cavities. The lesson here is simple: don’t mess with perfection. Life is random. Angry Birds is random. Therefore, spend your life playing Angry Birds and shut the H-E-double-hockey-sticks up. Thank you. Aloha.
P.S. Premature Calculation is avoidable, with the right strategy and execution. Really.

Hi, Ive enjoyed AB to this point. ive down loaded the new free version of starwars and was excited with the play then 2 days ago it started LOOPING in the opening it seems to get caught at an add then restarts. anything i can do to correct the issue and continue play

so my glitch is gone now and the only thing i did different is i kept hitting the button on my phone that takes me to settings(button symbol with 3 horizontal lines) while the intro was playing. i remembered that hitting that buttonon some games causes the game setting to pop up so i wanted to see if it was the same for AB, it isn’t but after hitting it a few times the ad loop problem didn’t start and i was able to play my star wars AB again.

Ok so I was playing Angry Birds (original) and I went onto the level 6-9 then the whole structure just collapsed and I got three stars WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING!!! This is weird, does anyone know why this happened?

After updating AngryBirds on my daughters HKC tablet it will not play. I’ve tried uninstalling it and installing again, nothing works.

For the HKC users : I emailed support and this is what I got back from them.. No clue when said update will be available though…

“Angry birds original and rio are the only ones that are currently working. However the moment the update is released we will email you so that you can update your tablets to run the newest angry birds. We apologize for the inconvenience you may be experiencing at the time.

If the original angry birds is not working the new update will fix it too.

I looked around on here and didn’t see this reported yet so far. Maybe it’s because it’s for an earlier season.

Anyway, I’m running Angry Birds Seasons 3.1.1 on a Windows 7 PC. I finally got 3 stars on all levels of Seasons Greedings Season 1 but the Big Present won’t unlock and is still actually in black and white. The other egg that you find in the game unlocked fine but not the Big present. Is this a bug that they know about so they can fix it in time for the next update?

Ok now I’m really miffed with the mooncake festival level 2-6.

For 3 weeks I have tried to get the mighty eagle feather so that the whole mooncake festival will finally be completed. I managed to get 98% twice when I first started the level but after that I was lucky if I managed to get 96%.

So, after persevering I have just now managed to get 98% again (for a 3rd time out of hundreds)but the reason I’m so miffed is because a video on youtube I have watched has more items left but managed to get 100%.

As you can see the items that are left after the bullet does its thing are as follows:
Cement – 3 solid pieces
Cement – 3 cracked pieces
Wood – 4 cracked pieces
=100% TOTAL DESTRUCTION

I have taken screen shots of the items in my game left over I have less pieces than in the video but only got 98%:
Cement – 2 solid
Cement – 5 cracked
Wood – 1 cracked
= 98% DESTRUCTION

What I want to know is if I have only 8 items left and only 2 of them are solid why did I not get 100% when in the video the person had 12 items left with 3 solid items????

I still think there is something wrong so if you could please give me the details of how to contact Rovio I’d really appreciate it thanks.

Perhaps reading/watching some of our Classroom Lessons would be helpful to you.

Not all blocks are created equal. Stone is worth more when going for Total Destruction that (say) ice and wood, which makes sense since it is harder to destroy. Boulders are worth more than regular stone. And “neigh-indestructible” materials such as rubber bumpers and the like are worth more still!

So, there is no bug, and I don’t thinks there’s any need to contact Rovio. Focus on the “harder” stuff like boulders, stone, and indestructibles.

Whoops, I lied. I used 1 “bloated” bird. But nonetheless, the feather is indeed possible.

A good strategy for any level is to see what happens with just tossing the Sardine Can into the obvious place. In this case, on the small ledge on the left side with the leftmost lantern. Having the Can settle there (it will usually settle if you hit the vertical wall before the horizontal ledge) yields 98% more often than any other result. I noticed during these trials that the roof of the right structure tended to survive, so I amended the technique to use a bird to disrupt that roof but leave the rest of the level untouched.

Here’s my video. If the playtime you see is over a minute, I apologize. The video will take a little while to trim. The final copy is approximately 40 seconds in length, so if the video you see is longer, fast forward to the last 40 seconds.

I got a 99% I cant understand why I just cant do it??? I’ve done it your way sooo many times & the best I get is 98% if I’m lucky, so I use the 2nd white bird to smash the lantern on the ledge on the left & it takes out the pig on the roof to make room for the can but it just wont do it. Its really messing with my sanity it shouldnt be this hard. I even got a friend in England to try it & she got it so why cant I after hundreds of tries ?:((

My problem is in Star Wars. My Hans bird does not shoot out through his eyes. All lasers are going backwards. I have it downloaded on my MacBook. Is there something I can do?

Han Solo will shoot wherever you click on-screen. If you click near the slingshot, he’ll shoot there. If you click in the top-right corner, he’ll shoot there.

I have VIA Deltachrome HC IGP Graphics card. I’ve updated it, no use.

Per Rovio’s FAQ:

I get an error message saying: “OpenGL renderer not supported”?
Angry Birds requires OpenGL 1.3 or later to run. Please try updating your graphics card’s drivers to the latest available version from the manufacturer’s website.
If your drivers are up to date and you still get this error, you can use a program called Realtechvr GLview to see if your system supports OpenGL 1.3. You can download Realtechvr GLview here.

BUG Angry Birds Trilogy for PS3

1) Level 7-8: Reveal the Golden Egg by hitting the TNT under the slingshot. You can do this by bouncing a red bird off the checkered wall directly under the first concrete block. Now bust that Golden Egg
BUG: I explode the TNT and the egg does not appear

2) Level 7-15: This one requires three steps and is probably the most difficult to obtain. First, you have to break the patch of grass behind the slingshot. After you do a round block of wood will appear on the ground in front of the slingshot. Bust that piece wood and the Golden Egg will drop down and start swinging around. Now you have two chances to hit the Golden Egg.
BUG: I hit the grass on the left, hit the wooden ball, drop the eggs but there is the golden egg. Before I saw the golden egg at the top but now it’s gone

3) 7-4: The Golden Egg is in the grass patch closest the slingshot at the foot of the hill
BUG: the golden egg behind the bush does not exist

Golden Mooncake #3 Level 9-9
Hit the patch of grass under the slingshot platform. The mooncake will appear just left of the pigs structure.
BUG: hit the grass but the mooncake does not appear

Golden Mooncake #4 Level 9-15
Hit the patch of grass immediately in front of the slingshot. The mooncake will appear in the left side of the trench to the left of the structure. Use any bird to reach it.
BUG: hit the grass but the mooncake does not appear

I miss only these levels to get all the eggs, I checked all your guides and I am sure that the levels are those

I don’t believe any of these that you have listed are “bugs”. The gameplay on Angry Birds Trilogy need not match the gameplay for iOS, since it’s a very different game.

Also, the numbers you have listed don’t really make any sense. In fact, there is no Golden Egg is Chapter 7 (of the original Angry Birds, I assume, since no other app has 7 chapters).

Maybe you would have more success asking your question in the Triology Forum thread.

I can’t get Angry Birds Space to launch on my son’s ipod. We purchased it for .99, and, when it’s selected, will come up to the play screen. When play is pressed, it takes me back to the ipod menu screen. Help!

I am playing angry birds seasons on iphone and in the game centre under trick or treat world 2 i have a high score of roughly 1450000, yet it says othere players have a high score of over 4000000, ive played these levels to death and dont see where the other 3000000 points could be hiding, is this a glitch or am i missing a couple golden eggs or something? For all 3 trick or treat worlds i have 4100000+ points so im thinking for some reason the game centre is calculating my 1.5mil to everyone elses total level score…thoughts?

Simple Answer: GameCenter is not consistent, pretty buggy, and easily hacked. It’s why we encourage player to use our Leaderboards instead. (While we openly admit that we have occasional bugs and hackers in our Leaderboards, we actively purge these issues as they arise.)

Yep, I know what you mean, @amslimfordy. Sometimes ya gotta pick up the shovel and clean out the barn. It’s always a good idea to clear out those RAM, and don’t forget to thin out your GOAT and PIG population.. While we’re on the subject, CHICKEN are a pain in the ankles, too. I say just clear ’em all out. Leaves more room for us COWS. Or if you’re from Scotland, that would be COOS. We need lots of space. Lots. Thanks. Aloha.

I tried loading the an disc onto my PS3, and it froze at the start page. I restarted my Ps3 and now nothing happens. I have a black screen, no sound, nothing. Can anyone help?

Sounds like you may have the dreaded “Shrunken S” virus. It’s a variant of the Drunken Monkey and the Irrelevant Elephant (strain B, if I’m not mistaken) so you could try:
1. Making sure you purchased AB Trilogy for PS3, not AB Trilogy for XBox 360
2. Turning the Disc over and re-inserting it with the label side face up
3. Reading the label, because it sounds like you have Call of Duty: Black Oops
3.5 Contacting Sony, the maker of Playstations One, 2 and 3.
4. Returning your PS3 to WalMart and buying an Apple iPad.
5. Blowing on the disc. Hey, it worked for those NES game cartridges didn’t it?

Hi there me again… I’m not going to complain about that stupid Mooncake level I just can not get the dang eagle feather on (the best I have done is 99%) I have given up on it for now lol.

I have been working through the other seasons levels & am finding a lot of the time the game will tally my score before all the debris has finished moving & its reeeeeally pissing me off.

Just before I was playing Back to School level 6 and I fired off the last bubble bird & it gathered up almost everything that was on the bottom right of the screen but just after it all started to lift my score came up & it said level failed.

The same thing has happened on Season’s Greetings levels 7, 14, & 16. All the rest of the levels on that game I have 3 stars and the eagle feathers but cant beat a high score because of the game ending before everything lands etc.

Why????????????

I have a screen shot of the one tonight & you can see all the bubbles have started to lift as the game ended. If you like I can email it to you?

This is known, but I’m not one to call it a bug. It’s a double-edged sword in terms of programming. You can’t set the system to require no movement whatsoever since that may take hours to occur. It’s just something that exists.

And just hope that everything smashes before it decides the game is finished? I have also noticed that the eagle eye will only flash once or twice after all pigs are gone & you dont have time to click it. So we just have to put up with it then? Is that what you are saying?

I would say that, if you feel strongly about this, you should contact Rovio. A quasi-solution is to have an additional “bird-in-hand”, which takes longer to count than simply level-end.

When I play Ab Space 1.4.0 on my PC, If you send the bird after zooming out,
mouse click commands are not received. Sorry if this not the right place to post this. But is anyone else experiencing this??

Need help with Starwars level J6, I have a iPhone
J6 loads but the red laser shots do not show up.
Is there a fix for this?

I did watch the video, on the video it shows laser beam shots in a group of three at a time, J6 loads but there are no laser beams being shot or showing up.

I have rebooted phone i uninstalled game and cleared ram. when i reached golden egg #4. Touched the egg then it said loading and back to my phone main screen. remember it is a galaxy atain. what can causing the glitch

In original angry birds, surf and turf level 38, the triangle atop the structure is wood, not cement. I have watched 3 videos on how to get 3 stars and noticed mine is different. Playing on iPad 3.

Hi, I’m not sure if this is counted as a bug (or maybe it’ll be called a feature).

In angry birds friends (facebook app), when you win the tournament you’ll be rewarded with a bunch of all the power ups.. However this is no longer the case. The mighty eagle is missing.

I’m not sure when this started, but I noticed it when I decided to play all the feathers, and after I ran out of mighty eagles I eagerly waited for more eagles to be awarded and I got none (I got all the other power ups, only mighty eagle was missing).

Now it seems the only way to get mighty eagles is by finishing a level and hoping you’ll get a mighty eagle as a gift, getting mighty eagle as the daily gift, or by buying them. This is so frustrating, only power up I wanted and used was the mighty eagle. Now that I’ve finished all the levels in all the episodes (except the changing levels in tournaments) I have negligible small possibility of being rewarded the mighty eagles without paying.

I would be ok with this if there were a one time purchase for unlimited use of the mighty eagle, but that’s not the case :( So does anybody have any ideas why did they change not including the mighty eagle to the power ups rewarded after you finish the tournament??

This is not a bug. Since the Mighty Eagle cannot be used in the Weekly Tournament levels, they were removed as prizes from there.

Fixed it. I had no idea there is a control to turn off the background. Nor how it got changed since I’ve never opened the settings menu.

Yes, on android device, on gear setting have a ‘mountain’ icon allow you to toggle on/off background, but only for ABO.
