Bad Piggies Ground Hog Day Level 1-34 Walkthrough

Ground Hog Day Level 1-34 is solved in one step. Build a solid four box cart with the turbo engine in the rear and the pig in front. Use all four wheels, power wheels on each end, to reinforce your contraption. This level requires a delicate use of the turbo engine to avoid damaging your vehicle. Krak Snap is not allowed. Navigate your contraption up the hill to the loop, through the star box. Let it roll backwards to the starting position. Now slowly navigate your vehicle through the first tunnel, and power your way to the finish line.

I didnt pass using the motor on the first block. It seems better use the motor on second block and pig on the last. At least for me.

Same shot as the video , except I only used the big wheels and I switched the places of the engine and the pig.

Has anyone noticed that you can use the same device, and start the same, but get very different results before you activate / deactivate anything else?

Quite true. I’ve noticed some subtle differences where the PC version requires some different tweaks from the iOS version.

By Liam

That’s probably from the mouse click ‘delays on the PC. I don’t have another device here I can use, but looking at the videos, and try to use the screen or clock references in the videos, my PC clicks are a tad off. I end up making a lot of adjustments to the activate/deactivates.

There is major inconsitancy, nothing to do with Delays… on some levels i’ve had to restart numerous times just to keep weighted contraptions down instead of them floating away, sand bags not working, ballons not working, seems very dependant upon luck.

Motor in block two (wood wheel under), pig in block three (metal wheel under). One try to complete once these swaps were made. :)

oops try metal wheel under the motor, wood wheel under the pig.

How to build a very easy vehicle.
From left to right:

– first line: (Metal Block + motor) + (metal Block) + (metal spring) + (metal block + pig)

– second line: (motorized wheel) + empty + empty + (motorized wheel)

Very easy. The secret is the metal spring. :)

@Paulo — I agree — Your contraption with the metal spring works better than video. I used the video technique for turning engine on and off, more or less.

By Liam

Yes Paulo, yours works well. I had trouble with it flipping on the way back down from the star, so I added the wooden wheel under the empty grey box. Then it was just a matter of fine tuning my on/off clicks.

I was able to three-star the level with a three-block contraption: all metal, with the engine and a motorized wheel in the front, and the small metal wheel and the pig in back. Getting it cleanly over the sharp peak was tricky, though.

Same wheels, but I’ve switched the pig and the motor, try it, it works fine!

i did two metal blocks pig on the left motor on the right and two powered wheels one on the right side and on on the bottom left. worked for me

That wood wheel makes it rally hard to get up the first peak. So, I did 4 metal blocks with the engine and pig in the two center blocks (left to right) to make it less flippy. Then a power wheel on bottom left, metal wheel below engine and power wheel at front. This has good speed and seems more stable during those sudden accelerations.

X=Nothing

Everything else done like video,
