Celebrate Angry Birds Third Birthday With 30 New Levels!

Happy Birthday to both the Angry Birds and our very own @BirdLeader! Rovio has chosen to celebrate in the best way they know how: UPDATES! That’s right, Angry Birds v3.0.0 has just been released for iOS, PC, Mac, and Android via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, with more platforms coming soon.

This update includes:

  • 15 levels in Birdday Party! As a fun tidbit, the birds waiting to be flung are all wearing conical birthday hats. Don’t let the festive look deceive you though: They are still very angry, and their cakes are dynamite! Our Birdday Party walkthroughs have been added to the existing category. These levels are Chapter 19.
  • 15 levels in Bad Piggies! (The episode, not the app.) This is being called Chapter 21, with the first 15 levels in Chapter 20. We have made all relevant changes to our walkthroughs and leaderboards, so you should be able to navigate smoothly. Our walkthroughs are live, added to the existing Bad Piggies category.
  • One new Golden Egg! Our Complete Guide has been updated, if you can’t find it on your own. As a hint: It’s not immediately visible!
  • Stella!!!! Yes, the Pink Bird has landed for ABo and first appears in Birdday Party 19-1. Use her bubbly awesomeness to earn your stars!
  • Full iPhone 5 compatibility!
  • No new achievements. This is expected, as ABo is out of room on GameCenter.
  • Power Ups: Still no distinction or differentiation that I can see, though if someone sees otherwise, please let us know.

If you go to Rovio’s site, you can download the “Demo” again and it should update your app.

Will there be any new adventures/levels for the Google Chrome version of Angry Birds? I’ve played the 6 existing levels, and have 3 stars in almost every scene, including the Chrome dimension. What about NEW stuff?

We are not the developers of Angry Birds. You would have to contact Rovio.

Thanks, AM…I’ll do that. Hopefully they can bring me up to date on AB for Google Chrome. There MUST be some new scenarios that I haven’t seen yet.

Hi, love the game! I have a Nokia Lumia 920 and was just wondering how I am able to get Rio, bad piggys etc, as i can’t seem to find any compatible app’s for a windows phone like mine? Also, for the same reason, how do I receive updates for the original angry birds, seasons, space and star wars games that i already have on my Nokia Lumia? Thank you so much, any help would be much appreciated..

Sorry Lauren, you would have to contact Rovio with those questions. To my knowledge, those apps are not available for Windows Phones.
