One strategy for Angry Birds Surf and Turf level 45 is to send the first Blue bird through the rope holding the leftmost boulder. As it falls, at least the first tower should topple over, though more damage than that is ideal. Then launch the White bird to bomb the debris below, focusing on the bird ricocheting through the second rope. As this boulder falls, not much should remain in terms of pigs. Use the Blue bird to clean up whatever is necessary. The score in the video below is 115,270.
If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

This level is substantially altered from the Facebook version. I can’t take a screenshot because I’m on Android, and there are a LOT of changes to list, but the gist is:
1. There are two fewer pigs! This is part of the reason why the listed three-star score is incorrect.
2. The suspended objects are much smaller: just a hollow stone square glued to a hollow triangle.
3. There’s now TNT encased in the hollow wood block in the left tower and in the hollow glass block in the middle left tower. All four towers have been further tweaked in quite a few different places.
4. The small cranes on either side are gone, and even the shape of the “ground” has been altered.
In other words, you’ll have to make a new walkthrough.
113220 3 stars.
1. bird through glass triangle above first pig, split late so that one of the little ones pushes the glass-encircled tnt into the gap between towers 2&3. That should clear most of the middle, except king pig.
2. bird higher arc, drop bomb imeedeately after first tower (tnt should go off), at the same time white bird cuts the rope holding second boulder while flying away. That should take care of king pig.
3. bird into glass panels of last tower to finish off.
@zwizdan007 — I used this strat for 199K, didn’t need 3rd bird. Thanks.
This is indeed a very good strategy. Note that it is not required that the first tower collapses, it will do so with the second bird. I got 127k with 3 birds with quite some debris left.
112090 is 3*

111840=3*
110k is the minimum. 109610 was two stars and 110050 is three stars.
This worked for me. It takes a few goes to get the hang of it but it’s easy really. Ignore the first hanging stone and instead fire the BB at a slight upward angle at the second box of TNT and split just before it hits. TNT will either explode straight away or fall in the gap and then explode. Either way it stands a very good chance of taking out the pigs and structure on the left or even the right. Whatever it does clean up with the WB for a score in the high 90k’s or even 100K’s. Two bonus birds. Cookin’!
That worked beautifully, @steviep147! Thanks for the strategy. Just to clarify for others, what you will probably need to do with the white bird is to bomb the annoying small pig on the left side that usually gets encased in ice, while the carcass flies up and drops the hanging stone on the right. If it falls properly, it can collapse the whole right structure and knock the king pig into the gap to pop it.
I suspect there’s a few more k left in this level. It’s mostly a matter of
luck but I think there’s maybe a one birder in here. Whether it will up the score is the question.
Thanks @steviep147 for the strategy post. Got lucky with the Yellow Bird and first tnt explosion in taking out the king pig, the little pig to the lower left of the tnt and a big gap in the middle. The White Bird worked fine with the egg behidn the left tnt strucuture and the hangning stone taking out what remained on the right side.
Ty @steviep :) great strat not the highest score but above average !!!
Great score yourself though,:)
I swear there’s a one birdie here using @steviep strat..I’ve almost had it, but of course i mess up the second shot..I’ve had everything down except the right tower but i can’t reach it with wb and the rock above just misses..
I Hope someone can try who’s a better shooter than i am..
Thank you x 1000 @steviep147!!! Took a long while but sooo worth it!! Yeay!!! But it did take me 3 birdies to get it so if you have round 8+k after 2nd bird it’s worth taking a shot!! :)
All 45 of these levels are from Facebook and they were just as tough to beat unless, you had Power-ups of which there were 5 of each you got for free, or you could purchase them by the 100′s as well. There were some levels with which you’d have a tough time beating them even with Power-ups (that way they forced you to keep smashing your credit card to feed the need), needless to say that the players that have Power-ups on their i-Pad, i-Pod, i-Phone or any other minuscule format, are going to be very tempted to use them and post the scores.
That of course will mean that those of us that play by the rules, will soon see our efforts to maintain our scores, slowly wane and wither, unless some more stringent form of monitoring is devised by the Administrators regarding the Leaderboards. Let’s keep it honest guys & gals, in the long run it’s better for all of us.
Hey WW69. Similar to my own thoughts. These new levels don’t bring anything to the table for us. No doubt Rovio are looking to make extra cash. They are a business after all.
I noticed that at the end of the video above that 3-starring all of S&T earns a Power up bonus in place of a GE. My question is this: do you still get those Power ups if you have Power ups disabled?
Good question. Probably not since when you do disable the p/u, you don’t get the daily ones.
Well, then, in that case, I probably should re-enable Power ups before getting the last star I need to complete S&T.
You do not get the power-ups I can happily confirm. You don’t need them if you don’t use them.
Thanks for the info, @DonnMega.
That’s good, because paradoxically enough, every time I’ve used Power ups, I’ve earned smaller scores than without them.
This last episode is also a 2-Birder and it doesn’t require many resets.
1) Launch your Blue Bird at a low arc and split before striking the glass triangle on top of the first structure, one or two of the Blues will continue to the glass encased TNT and detonate it, if the Rovio Gods are smiling upon you, that should destroy all piggies on left and center + the king pig and leave you just the mama pig and the piglet at the right end. Just keep hitting reset until all is as I describe it, you won’t regret it.
2) Launch your White Bird at a medium to high angle and lay your egg just before hitting the left side of last structure, end of story.
2 birds left as bonus 20000 points.
Thanks @werewolf69 once again I found your strategy to work the best. It helped me to finally get above average. Even though the King Pig remained after the first shot, I managed to finish him and the last structure with the white bird. Will try some more for a higher score.
@annach, Again I’m pleased that my strats are helping you and others attain higher scores. By the way, do you have any recommendations on episode #35? I can’t get past 88430 no matter what I do or try to do.
@werewolf69 – on level 35 I followed the walkthrough video strategy, but got more destruction. Just try it again and again, and finally it will work out for you as well.
@annach, I too have followed it and several other strats, but to no avail, it just keeps giving me either what I already have or lower. By the way, good advice, just what I tell other players in my present predicament, thank you.
@werewolf69 just tried your strategy & it works great. 123600 2 bird . Will try some more tomorrow, more points are there with strat & possible1 bird.thanks Ahoo werewolf’s of London
@mudshark-70, Arrooooo, I’m very glad that it helped you attain a higher score, higher than mine in fact. Don’t waste too much time on the 1-Birders because there’s not enough destruction and therefore the scores are usually lower than with 2 birds. Keep killing those mo-fo swine.
A different two-bird strategy that got 117,920 on iPhone version:
Fire first blue bird at a 45 degree arc, and split just after passing over the wooden triangle on top of the third structure. This should take the glass roof off of the King Pig, and obliterate the fourth structure.
Fire the white bird at a lower arc, and drop a bomb between structure 1 & 2, as close to 1 as you can get. White bird should fly up through the rope holding the right weight, dropping it satisfyingly onto King Pig. Meanwhile, the effects of the bomb have removed the first structure, and tilted the second against the third, taking out the remaining pigs.
There are more points available this way, I think, because I didn’t detonate the TNT in the first structure.
This is just an observation on Surf & Turf… I recently played my last few levels with barely any 3 stars and got the martini glass with a star on it. Today I got everything 3 starred and the star was taken away. I think it was supposed to be switched. Any way to fix or will it be an update fix? No biggie just kinda weird.
Sounds like your data files were switched. Strange.
How does the data get switched with just mine? Does anyone else have this issue?
I couldn’t tell you. Strange things can happen during updates.
Looks as though the high score on this one is a little too high.
@amslimfordy
Thanks @thetoddman23. I’ll take care of this issue.
130230 with 2 birds. I always take out first hanging stone with 1st and 2nd hanging stone with w/b carcass. On my best I got both TNTs with 1st (that’s very rare) and 2nd I just drop egg over some debris and cut the rope. The hanging stone did the rest. There are other ways to 130K+ you just need to assess the situation after 1st. I sure 130K can be reached with 3 birds too. Very interesting level.
I was having terrible luck getting the first hanging stone to detonate 1st TNT, never mind getting the second TNT to also blow. When 2nd TNT finally blew, it also detonated the first. I decided the best strategy would ideally be to drop the stone with the goal detonating the middle TNT first, causing also the most damage. But how to do this?
I found that if I high arched blue and split late on top of the hanging stone, that middle TNT would get pushed over and sometimes blow. Still requires patience, but this is the approach I’ve had the most luck with.
I like this strat best.
1st bird is shot low just over the glass triangle on top of the 1st structure.. Split the bird just past the triangle with the goal being to push over the TNT into the next structure before exploding and hope for at least 40k+ of damage. Hopefully all that will be left is the 1st structure, the King and the far right structure. A good setup is crucial for the next shot.
2nd bird is aimed about midpoint between the top triangle and the left hanging stone.. Releasing the egg just behind the 1st structure at that elevation should send the bird thru the rope holding the 2nd stone dropping it into the right side stuff. The egg bomb should take out the 1st structure, exploding the TNT in the process.
I like to play this level zoomed out about 1/2 way. I find it easier to aim that way. The goal of getting both the stone and the bird to fall into the debris. Aim at the top of the stone so the bird defects UP thru the rope that way he will fall straight down.
Of coarse with most of these levels will require tons of restarts, Luck plays a big part.. 2 bird scores are pretty much a must to score above average here, but 3 stars can still be had with 3 bird scores.
I found this world really enjoyable to play.. Took about 3 weeks to play all 15 levels but it was fun. Now it’s on to the Bad Piggies.
My score of 133,180 was achieved using the same strategy as the video, but with two birds.

@birdleader, now that I have a true understanding of the integrity of the scores posted on your site, I’m curious why r-l-l wasn’t required to post a strategy or screenshot on this level. Thank you for your time.
@lulu2all @r-l-l is a long time member who is well known for his shooting skills that’s why no screenshot required and if asked I’m sure he would gladly give you some helpful tips:)
