If you have 80 coins spare buy another Stella BEFORE firing a bird and fire as normal. You can get an additional bird this way and thus an extra 10k.

@andy2510 This trick was reported to Rovio, and may be a bug, so depending on what they say about it, scores obtained by doing that may be disallowed. Until they reply one way or another, I wouldn’t recommend anyone spend any coins on it.

@kelani thanks for the heads-up – just been using it to raise the score above average and struggled to do so without it.

Hopefully it would be treated the same way as the santa-hat glitch from ABSeasons. That was fixed before I started playing so missed out on that!

@andy2510 What I just told you was 100% wrong. Your score is fine. Since Rovio created the animation of the bird hopping out of the sling, that swap seems intentional. I was referring to the related bug where you can repeat that process, i.e. Swap first bird, fling new bird, first bird hops back in sling, swap first bird again. You can do that endlessly and never touch the original lineup. Scores obtained THAT way are not allowed. Sorry about that. Too many bugs lately :)

Ah I didn’t know about that bug @kelani! I certainly won’t use that – it would be cheating and cost too much coins and I’m not paying a penny to buy them!!

I’m not lovin this new “swap” from Rovio, but it’s what they’ve given us, so I spent 80 coins (they’re not like ABSW II, I’ll eventually earn them back) for a Stella & improved from a 43410 non-swap score to a modest 51180 on iPad (not my listed Android phone). To me, this Stella “swap” really isn’t a swap as it adds an extra bird to the lineup for an extra 10k (bonus bird) whereas to me a swap is an even-up exchange.

If you’re going to use Rovio’s “swap” here (& much higher scores are out there,) I suggest practice, practice, practice your shot 1st & only shot with the Stella we’re given. I shot perhaps 15-20 practice Stellas to see how my device & platform responded to my touch for aiming; yours is likely to need adjusting. My internet is almost always too slow to allow me to view an ABN or YouTube video, so I really don’t know if I’m activting her beam sooner or later/higher or lower than as shown.

Without a swap my best was 43k, so at a minimum, 53k scores are possible.

@admins, I am trying to figure this ‘Stella’ level out. So you use the coins to buy extra birds? I used the coins just to see what it was about; extra bird popped up and I used it to clear the field with the one bird , plus still had three birds for bonus.

Is that right? Is that allowed? That seems like cheating or the same as using power-ups. I did get 51,480 using the extra coin bird, if this allowed then I guess that is my score which puts me at #1 spot. .
But if it is viewed the same as using powerups, then I would enter my score of 42,580 without using the extra coin bird.

Please advise.
Thank you
