Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level 5 Week 63 – February 28th 2014

Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #5 (Day 5, released on February 27th, Week 63 which began on February 24th, 2014). Our non power-up strategy for this final level is to fling Obi-Wan towards the right pig above the tnt, and direct the Force rightward. This should cause him to swing, and his blaster should destroy quite a bit. Then send Luke towards the bottom left pigs to clear that side of the level. Finally, aim Han Solos blaster at the remaining pigs to the right. The score in the video below is 153,530.

Our Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

130k appears to be the 3 star minimum but it might be bugged. I got a 3 star score at 137k but when I was searching for the 3 star score minimum there appears to be a bug when it begins tallying the score. If you hit 130k+ the first star and the third star will shine but the second star will be blank. 129k was 1 star and 130k produced 3 stars.

We are only interested in the three star threshold. I will readjust the minimum as an “estimate” for now until we can confirm.

Thanks @thebirdbrain

1 Clone Bird used. 1st shot like the video, after that depends on what was destroyed. 153k

Only to point some findings …
– The metal “T” with the laser pig upside-down also can be pushed to balance like the TNT pig but this one can move freely while attached to the metal bar, and more swing implies more damage.
– The “K”, if moved properly, will continue moving, not only side-moving, even circular and upside down… and always push all left-sided letters to that direction, doing damage in the process. Same is valid to the “u” on right side of TNT-couple… and that can keep the “o” with the laser pig in continued moving, determined by the parts of the “o”… lesser parts measn more swinging and more damage… and if only that pig and the metal piece he is attached are the only one that remains of all “o”, both “u” and pig will take down each other.
– You also can go under the central line and just over it, landing on the metal top part of “a”, sabrering and continue to the right to impact the “Y”. That didn’t break that but will clear the way for falling boulders hi above and put all letter on the move for extra damage and some surprises you could see. (I’ve see some unexpected moves myself…)
– If there be easy to blow the TNT on low wood thing, the central one… or be possible to blow that ASAP, that “hut” will blow sending debris ALL directions.. so you basically will get lower horizontal half screen cleared.
– Only once got “at hand” the possibility to get 178K but required a full set of PU’s and a perfect perfomance… BUT its possible.
– Also, it is possible to get 160K+ scores without using any PU’s with 1-bird… but rare and low chance.

@sal9 was right. Absolutely one of the most fun levels EVER, in any AB! Thank you ROVIO!

Score: 149,040.
I used 2 birds and caused alot of damage. and again, thank you so much for all of the help you gave me. because of that, I did not have to use power-ups on most of the tournaments! and tell ROVIO that I said thank you for making Angry Birds Star Wars on Facebook. I will miss all of the characters. and the best part is that I got 3 GOLDEN STARS IN ALL OF TATOOINE AND DEATH STAR! ALL FROM LEVEL 1 TO LEVEL 40!

My score had just changed to 152,630 by 3 shots.

By Chris

Went through it a few times, used alternate strategies and the video. Finally using the video I got a 3 star with about 134,000 +. Then tried again just because I still had crystals left. Two more tries like video and must have hit a sweet spot at the right time. First bird killed all but one pig and caused a lot of damage, got the last pig with the second bird. 164,000 on the nose!!

This has been a great game – my morning constitution – get up, make coffee, play the tournament while drinking my coffee, go to work.

Another new score of 156,760 points by 2 birds.

I hate the way some of the pigs are occasionally indestructible on this level. Very buggy.

BEST level ever – thanks Rovio!

Thanks @Greilich, 1st shot was same as walkthrough video, but it had more swing and very little of the structures stayed behind after the 1st shot. A fully loaded clone was used for the second shot and fortunately the BD bounced around a bit and it took almost everything out. I managed to get 172 and 173k scores quite a few times, but was just lucky with the 176k.
