Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #5 (Day 5, released on March 8th) Week 12 which began on March 4th, 2013. Our non power-up strategy is to quickly send Han towards the hovercraft before the gates close. Upon impact, aim his blaster at the top hollow blocks. This should cause the top tnt to drop and cause a chain explosion below, clearing most of the pigs. Use a second bird, if necessary, to destroy any remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 86,190.

For some reason my level is different from this…it start’s with the door closed shut and both the ships on the other side of it.
I don’t know what level you’re playing, but there’s only one speeder on this one…also, on this one, you’ve got to have fast reflexes or the door will close with the speeder on the other side, thus making it harder to 3 star the level.
There are two speeders. The one that is flying to dock and one above it that is already docked.
Scott, it sounds like your not starting the game quick enough.
The site opens with the ship moving very fast !!!( & of course lagging ) cannot set yellow bird up quick enough to shoot before ship goes through the door (gate) Bad set up !!!!
This is the perfect illustration of why I get so frustrated with this game. In this level I can’t even launch Han Solo before the speeder is through the gate. It takes a couple of seconds before the bird even jumps up to the slingshot, and it takes a LOT of control to get it aimed. And if I struggle with it a little too much, when I let go, it will either fly backwards or straight up. I’ve been assuming that if I could get it on full screen like the regular Angry Birds Friends, it would work better, but maybe not.
So far I’ve managed one star on this level and it looks like that’s all I can do.

me too, @Dunks. in fact i screwed up the first shot so bad i thought it was gonna be a crap level….shot too early and about 10 degrees too low…one lucky debris bounce and the tail of the speeder and I was like HECK YEAH! ONE BIRD!

first shot like the video, then just wait if you see the structure of the left moving, it will fall by itself!

this is not an alternate 3 star strategy, but rather a way to save a crystal should you miss and the doors close on you. if the doors close, simply aim luke up at about a 40 degree angle or so…aim for the top of the top door. ignite saber on impact. this should destroy the door, allowing you to clean up with the remaining yellow birds and not lose a crystal
i am uploading a video to youtube of my saving strategy, but it won’t be live for about an hour and a half from now. good cable internet download speeds, but my upload speeds stink.
@southflasweety how in the holy heck did you get that high a score? if i could do that, i could guarantee a victory in my tournament
Using all the powerups its a one birder with red shooting down tnt and boucing back and taking out left piggies

96.800 one birder without power-ups using a slightly different strat – you want to be as late as possible clearing the closing doors, possibly even clip them with your bird. Shoot as late as you can, the TNT will hopefully land on the moving mechanical arm on the right, sending debris down and making the second TNT explode. This will cause debris to fly over to the left and clear the remaining pigs. The key here is to have two separate TNT explosions. Not easy to reproduce but got 2 other 95k+ scores using this strat. Hope this helps! :)
As soon as level start, aim at the back engine. Fire at the same spot as the video but bird must fell and destroy left tower. 1 bird only solution. i scored 91,820 like that.
You are the best, I know I can always rely on you for a good strategy that almost always not only gets three stars, but also top rank among my friends. So I say this with affection, the word is “hollow” (empty inside), not “hallow” (sacred, cherished).

One of the things I used to like about Angry Birds was that you didn’t need fast reaction times; you could take time to consider your strategy and aim carefully. But this level -GRRRRR!
Another 1-bird comment: (Quickly) Sling a bit lower that the video and shoot at hit the speeder. han will be out of the doors, falling over the left structure and (with luck) take out that pigs. Most times I’ve got this well the score its not so big but try, try, try… you know.

Rovio, never do a level like this EVER again, this is one of the worst level designs of all time, there is simply not enough time to get through the gate when you have a laggy computer, I thought Space DZ D-21, RP 5-20 and Utopia 4-25 were bad, but this one is un-playable and impossible to even kill all pigs, with my computer!!!
The speeder shouldn’t move until you start to move the first bird. Rovio could’ve placed the speeder farther along the route to keep the same timing.
