Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level 2 Week 58 – January 21st 2014

Walkthrough video and non power-up strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #2 (Day 2, released on January 21st, Week 58 which began on January 20th, 2014). Our strategy is to send Obi-Wan towards the first steel wheels, and initiate the force rightward to clear most of the pigs on the left side. Then send a second bird above the first structure, towards the steel wheels on the right. Initiate the force rightward to knock the right structure and detonate the tnt. The score in the video below is 87,000.

Our Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

There is a chance for 1-birdie but very rare (no-PU':
(also valid for the 2-birds strat)…
… I’ve sling black to ‘n through the middle of 1st hanging chain, force-it before impact to make the chain to wave to right… then force to cut it. (This will kill all left-down pigs, destroy or make fall the metal tower left down to the middle, killing all pigs and blowing lower TNT… meanwhile Obi will hit the right tower n pushing all tower or something to the right, hitting that TNT and possibly pushing all right-most tower n pig to fall. That was a perfect 1-birdie…

If no perfection, then:

2nd Obi: Most probably the !@#$% pig on the right not only survived but also trenched. You could repeat the same manuever on 1st chain this time on the middle one to send the hanging “hand-with-balls” to fly n hit the right-center column as Obi will continue to the target OR send him directly to the low part to push force up… that also works if TNT still there for some extra points.

Trivia:
If you hit the top circular piece on each chain n destroy it by direct hit(no push force), a small piece from the top spring horizontally at hi-speed… seem too weak ttor DMG some pieces but can break some others…
If you hit the chain on the precise spot near the side-by-side central pins, n use the force well-timed anywhere but backwards, the upper hanging part of the chain will go up and will hit the ice-square on the top, getting all hanging thing to fall…
both cases are uncommon.
enjoy!

Looked at last time solutions http://www.angrybirdsnest.com/angry-birds-star-wars-facebook-tournament-level-2-week-33-july-30th-2013/
and just shot first bird over first crane, it went through another, applied force backward and I managed to destroy pigs on first tower. Then second again over first crane with higher arc so that it went to lower part of remaining tower and pushed it forward. Got 96K

Hi @sasilik thank you for re-writing this one, it was the one that worked best for me last time but I couldn’t quite remember how it was done. Got 3* first try!

1 bird i hv done but scored more with 2birds……this level is easy……to get the 1 birder i just shot obi over the little bit of glass at top of 1st hanging claw,i then broke right through the metal middle part of 2nd claw then while stunned pushed force forwards taking care of right hand side, the snapped claw then fell on to the tnt also killing the left side…..and i only got 2stars……so 2 birds, same as 1st shotover 1st claw, snap it,fore forwards, then snap thru 1st claw pushing left piggies to their doom……dont know why but i seem to get more points if i snap the claws rather than swing them….94k.

Obviously, if you hit the claws (and better if push-force UP when Obi get in) you not only set loose the small balls bau also bring down all floating thing…
Once upon a time, got this case : Aimed horizontally and to the middle of the up-down area of the pins on the chain… when Obi almost hit the left pin, push foward exactly right and horizontally… right chain’s pin fly as bullet directly ahead; low chain and claw spin and crashed on the left-down tower; and upper chain do the same and somehow all upper part fall… the flying pin hitedt wood part of right claw that start to swing and drop balls… etc… the thing was ALL piggs dead but low score… and not need for retry this but could be the best “soft-spot” for chain(s) reaction and destruction…

@tienshenlong …..on going bk earlier and trying 2 improve my score,i tried what u said with the chain and also agree that it is a soft spot…..u seem to get more damage and destruction points if u hit it there.

No P/U’s. 1st bird through pendulum, using the force to push 2nd pendulum into far right structure. TNT explosions, and falling blocks destroyed most of the right side of screen. 2nd bird to short left structure. 91k

By Raiderman

1st bird to horizontal bar halfway down first pendulum. Initiate force to the right prior to impact. That cuts the pendulum and clears the left side. Now straight shot to right pendulum claw, initiate force to the right and it will clear the rest. 89080 so far.

Using full loaded Clone Bird (BD+TD+LS) sucessfully (1-birdie) I’ve think you could get 120K +/-

But where is the sweet pain, suffering and delight of do it “single-handed” (no-PU’s) to beat the others?

Should be a single walktrhough page for each lvl but 2 separated leadeboards for PU and No-PU’s players… could be very frustrating for new/some-ones that are no aware of that fact, NEVER end in the top 1/3… I am right?
