Walkthrough video and non power-up strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #1 (Day 1, released on November 18th, Week 49 which began on November 18th, 2013). Our non power-up strategy for this level is to aim the Blues at the bottom left pig-trooper on the small planet, and split them immediately. With a little bit of luck, the explosion should send enough debris on the bottom right structure, while the birds destroy the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 93,170.

1st bird like yours…..I had to use 3 birds, and only 2 stars so far. Will re-visit, once crystals regenerate. 78.4K

Retried, No P/U’S. 1 Bird 1st bird, aim for the 3 pigs, and split as soon as released. TNT and chain hit planet, flying debris & the oter birds took out the remaining pigs. Lot’s of debris left. 91.5K
One birder with some luck. Split fast and bottom one of 3 should hit the one attached to the TNT.
93k ALMOST 1-bird but 1 pig survived and got trenched. Not yet the full 1-bird after 20 attempts… thanks to the northern pig for that… always messing. lol
I DID 1-bird this level, but it only scored 90,750.
I shoot at the closest upper pig, splitting as soon as released.
You will clear the top, and with luck the bottom will too

Thanks @nitro that was an awesome strat! I needed 2 birds but got 3* 86K. Bottom far-right structure + 2 pigs remained. Had to send 2nd bird into north part of upper planet, just catching the gravity, then split inside the gravity on east side, birds brought down the boulders.

9 out of 10 times you don’t get it all with 1-bird, then you just have to clean up the best you can.
I continue to improve on my score (92,700); still using the exact same shot… different score every time
Well @nitro, it took me about 100 tries, but I finally got it to go as a 1-birder. Awesome!
In fact, I can do it consistently now, the trick is zooming out to the same level as the vid, and aiming for the trooper’s top ear. Split instantly. You get an extra degree of aiming being at that zoom level, as opposed to zooming all the way out, which I often do.
@steinbird I do have it zoomed all the way out; on a 24″ screen though.
But maybe I can get better consistency if I zoomed in a bit.. I’ll give it a shot.. and try to beat sal9’s score :)
@steinbird , as you can see in @sal9 ‘s video on top, he got high score aiming exactly as I do it. ;)
Lol :) I did this start 1st try while just watching new levels.. and lol I got 99k… No-Powerus… seems like there might be a problem trying to beat that even with P-U
1 bird aim at left pig in the top ring atmosphere split as soon as u let go 1st split bird willtke care of the top pigs the 2nd split bird will hit the pig ship and drag tnt into ring 3rd split bird will fall down the little gap breaking glass killing bottom left pigs,basically if u aim like i said the rest of level shud do itself 91k 1 bird but for those who just cant manage 1 bird dont worry 3 stars is still achevable using 2 birds
1-Bird No-PU’s PC 97K
After 75 attempts finally got the 1-bird + massive destruction. 97k
My approach is based on the common strat BUT I’ve tested other crazy variants, and that factors (that worked with all others for the score, ONCE) are:
DO NOT HIT THE Tie-pighter…
Hit the tnt instead. The difference? When tnt is hit fall 1st, and detonate 1st… then the chain will pull down the Tie and after the crash the wing/debris will cause more damage. In my case this time actually killed the annoying northern pig that usually survived and/or the lower structure with 2 pigs.
Other factor is the splitting point… almost half the way … 1/3 mostly… the thing is that worked for me… AND the aiming point was the lower right structure on scope + exactly in the middle/center distance between thye Tie and the asteroids over the left structure.
For anyone who want to try, the folowing variant work sometimes but no great scoring: (not related with the previous strat)
Aim directly down… forgot the right planet… your goal is to pass in the middle of the small asteroids, hitting the big one. The asteroid will hit the chain/Tie/tnt OR the hitting bird will bounce on asteroid and do the same job. The other 2 birds take out the lower pigs. Accidentally “discovered” and uncommon solution, but have better rate of sucess if compared with the video, and more funny too.
