Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star Level 2-37 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-37 is to use Han to shoot through the bottom Tie-Pig and fire his lasers toward the back metal panels bouncing around killing some of the right pigs. Then use the Rebel Pilots to kill the other two revolving Tie-Pigs.

Aim at the edge of the lower gravity field. Wait until the Oink fighter that revolves around the lower mini moon is at about eight o’clock and then release. As you fly past the mini moon, three Oink fighters will now line up so you can blast all of them all in one shot. Han will then continue on south of the larger moon and crash into the last Oink fighter, and then crash on the moon for more destruction. This will usually leave only two storm troopers on the west side of the moon which are easy targets.

Thanks @f91jsw! This was my last level in all of ABSW to 3*, and your strat got me above average! A couple of observations: I play on iPad, and you want to release Han when the Oink fighter is closer to 9 than 8. When aiming the Rebel Pilots, don’t go for a perfectly symmetrical shot (not that you could if you were trying); the outer pilots crash into each other on the far side of the big star.

@mvnla2 & @f91jsw: Great strat! I noticed this level requires a great deal of skill and luck. Much practice is required, young Jedi.

70130, and here’s how I did it:

The key to shot 1 is getting a good line up of Han and that oink fighter lower left. Your shot needs to get him fairly close, and the ricochets and Han destruction need to take out the main orbiting oink fighters and pigtrooper on the back NE side, plus ideally the planetside pigtrooper between the metal towers. This leaves the upper left oink fighter, the pigtrooper elevated on the ice tower and the SW pigtrooper on the ice plank.

Shot 2: Time your launch so the last oink fighter passes 3 o’clock. Launch straight ahead and deploy your splitter squad so the top one takes out oink fighter. The other two will take out the remaining pigtroopers. :)

I 2-Birded it as on video, but this can be 1-Birded with some patience, I almost got it twice, but the tiny piglet hanging on the outer tower keeps surviving.

The way I was doing it is somewhat like the video, but wait for the Tie-fighter in the big gravitational field to make a complete revolution (keep your eye on the first fighter you see at the bottom), then aim Hans to collide with the fighter in the lower grav. field and shoot at the one just finishing his complete revolution, what follows is a hodge podge of destruction as all the tie-fighters are blown up along with all the pigs except the piglet I mentioned, and there is where the problem lies.

I probably need to time the shots at a slightly different angle. I’ll come back to it at a later time and figure it out, unless someone else beats me to it, in which case I’d appreciate a heads-up.

@WereWolf69, your method earned me a 1-Birder and current top score… thanks. After the 20+ shot learning the method, it took another 30+ shots to tweak it for a 1-Birder.

I brought Hans in tight round the lower globe. Timed release to cause Hans to crash into the Tie-Fighter as it reached 3-4 o’clock. Doing so causes some of the debris to enter the large gravitational field. I shot at the third beam (counting from left to right) on the bottom in the large gravitational area. As WereWolf69 discovered the Tie-Fighters in the large should be nearly completing a full rotation, placing them in line for the shots and ricochet.

Just slightly different than the video since I found the first shot pretty difficult to get as much inner destruction as the video gets. On the second shot I shot as the video does, but earlier about when the oink-fighter is at about 1-2 oclock*. This gives me all three (usually) splitters working on the inner destruction and one of them will take out the oinker.

Don’t know about anyone else but to me this is one of the worst at screen movement. It is hard to aim when the screen is moving! And if I start out zoomed out it will zoom me in – if I start out zoomed in it will zoom me out.

*OK OK – It’s when the oinker is at 1:37…

My score was 75240. Aimed the first Han as in the video shown, but timed the shot nicely for all ti be hit.

By Steve W

I spent the better part of an hour trying to do what the video shows with no luck. I tried the other strats, but this “3 oink fighters lining up” never seemed to occur. Then I looked closer – I play on a Galaxy Note, and in my version, the oink fighters do not line up quite the same way as in the video. The starting position is the same, but the lower oink fighter orbiting the large moon moves slightly faster, making it impossible to fling Han at the right moment to shoot that fighter and hit the one orbiting the small moon. It’s literally split seconds of difference, but exactly enough to make this strategy impossible

This is almost painful …LOL. I started with various strategies here & my 1st 3* was 69380. Most of the time I’m following @f91jsw. I managed to improve 3 more times for a grand total of 590 points (see why it’s painful?).

This was too frustrating, so I checked out YouTube for other suggestions & at least broke 70k with equally painful increasing increments by changing to the strategy by WikiGameGuides. My scores crept from 69970 (ABN strategy) >70190>70240, by aiming just to the inside of the upper gravitational field & launching when the upper TIE-fighter is between 5-6, shooting lasers to bottom right (Tap Point at 2nd metal bar from left – last flat one before the /) so that the lasers take out the TIE-fighter circling the lower gravitational field & so that the launch, not laser, takes out the TIE-fighter in the upper field. One of the TIE-fighters circling the largest field on the right should be in the laser’s path & with some luck, the ricochets will take out the other one & most of the Storm Troopers. Many times the only had Storm Trooper left was the one directly in front at 9:00, so a 1-birder is definitely possible with either this or f91jsw’s method. In my case, it’s just user or Shooter error.

Why oh why do I continue to subject myself to these frustrations? I guess it’s because I’m an ABA (Angry Birds Addict).

I was certain I would never 3-star this level! Luckily, I was able to find and follow @yuriyigolkin video. I never would have figured out this level on my own if my life depended on it!

Only thing I did different was send the second bird south and not splitting until in the gravitational field of the planet. Going straight and releasing early, I always lost a bird and points. I will be back for the 1-birder ;)

Shoot Han into the lower part of the lower planet when the oink-fighter there is at or just past ten o’clock. About two seconds after launching, fire the oink-fighter that circles the upper planet. The third laser should kill the lower fighter. The second laser kills the oink-fighter inside the structure after a ricochet. The last oink-fighter is killed by the debris from the fighter that circled the lower planet. The last trooper-pig to bite the dust is the one inside the structure, on the left side.

I found this method quite easy to repeat for scores up to 77000.

I do have a screenshot, but have no idea how to include it in this message.

Great strategy @woezeltje, up to 78k with this.
Aimed Han about 1/3 of the way in to the field under the lower small planetoid. Also fired a bit sooner than 2 seconds, the 2nd laser blast has to just miss the lower oink-fighter. Then it’s all about luck with the falling wings from the fighters helping out with damage.
The pig around 9 o’clock on the structure & the one just above him are particularly stubborn.

I aimed at the bottom of the gravity field of the top planet, timing it so I would:
1) crash into the top planet fighter
2) clip the lower planet fighter with my first shot
3) slip two shots under the fighter coming around to the bottom of the planet (or whatever it is) on the right before getting it with the third shot.

My focus was getting Han’s body to do damage on the right, and not double shooting fighters so that wings aren’t shot and can do damage on their own. Han usually wound up destroying the bottom stationary pig. The smallest pig typically rolls over to the right and is destroyed that way.

I think there are multiple ways to get to a #2 score on this board.
